What an amazing hotel!! It was just remodeled couple seasons ago and it’s absolutely beautiful, super clean with the most friendlier stuff and owners that I have met traveling around the world! My wife and I absolutely fall in love with this island this town and this hotel we will be back year after year!!!!!

Amazing hotel, very friendly staff, fantastic location. It's incredibly clean and well looked after, if you come to Kefalonia you MUST stay here! Lovely, clean pool, best I've ever seen. Just wonderful.

I recommend hotel Palatino for everyone who wants to relax. Very clean, very peaceful place. For dinner you can try delicious greek food. Staff is friendly and helpful. For me one of the best :)

The area has not changed since we last holidayed there 17 years ago still beautiful and in my own personal opinion best place on the island

Very good location right next to the beach and the shops. The cleanliness of the rooms is very good. Very friendly and helpful service.

The bars and restaurants are within easy walking distance, as is the ferry to take you to the main town of Argostoli from where you can explore the island further by boat or by bus

First impression when I came to hotel was it needed a decent improvement. For other hand is very lovely, rooms are quiet small but they have what you need. Around hotel is a beautiful park now a little out of date

Fantastic Location 5* Very clean and friendly staff. Bathroom patched up and although clean needs updating with bigger shower cubicles and wall fitting shower spray

The views from the sea rooms are stunning. All restaurants, shops and cafes are very close by. The pool has plenty of loungers and is a lovely way to relax

Above all, the team there at La Cite will make you feel at home from the time you arrive until the time you check out, you will be well taken care of during your stay

Rooms are very old, nothing special. No insect nets in the balcony door. Garden is nice though. An old fashioned pool and many sunbeds around it. Distance to town center is also very good.

Absolutely brilliant!!!! The staff are like family to everyone. Janeta welcomed us on our arrival and explained everything we needed to know. The rooms are spacious and immaculately clean, free air con, and safe!

A wonderful 2star Hotel Fabulous pool,lots of sunbeds. Excellent snack menu, breakfast included ( buffet style) bread, cheese, meat ,eggs cake. Staff make you feel part of a family

We have been vacationing on the Island of Kefalonia for many years and Lixouri, and La Cite has been our best place to call home while we travel around Kefalonia

Lovely family run hotel We have stayed here many times over the years. Always very clean, staff very friendly and hotel is well located and comfortable.

The location was perfect and allowed us to explore all that Argostoli had to offer. Parking was always available and it was a wonderful quiet location

It is a great property, beautifully prepared for our arrival with lots of welcoming refreshments left out for us which was greatly appreciated

Our second stay at Hotel Aggelos and we were not disappointed. Upgraded to a sea view room where we enjoyed watching the cruise ships arrive/depart. Hotel staff and family in this family run hotel cannot be faulted

The hotel is at a quiet end of the city but within 5/10 minutes walking distance of the square and shops. Thank you for a lovely 3 night stay at the end of our Kefalonia holiday. Look forward to seeing you again

Plenty of choice at breakfast which you can eat in the lovely breakfast room or on the terrace. Rooms cleaned twice a day and everything is spotless. I would not stay anywhere else in Argostoli

We have stayed in the hotel before so had no difficulty in choosing to go again. In fact we had the same room overlooking the cruise pier and harbour. Good, spotless room with lovely balcony

Our room was lovely and clean, with great air conditioning and a great shower. The room was cleaned twice a day and bed turned down for you. Amazing, well done Hotel Agellos

Lovely hotel, situated on the waterfront in Argostoli. Our room was on the 2nd floor; there isn’t a lift in the hotel. Good selection of items for breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful

One of the best places to stay at the town of Argostoli. Close enough to the central square of the town, with clean and comfortable rooms and beautiful view of the port

The small kitchenette in our room was very convenient and having a fridge to store water was useful. A good value hotel for those on a budget. Aircon also very good in the room we stayed in

I also found clothes pegs, detergent and sponge for dishes since there is an equipped kitchenette, excellent location a stone's throw from the centre

The place of the apartment is excellent. It is maximum 500 meter from the city center. We didn’t face any problem during our journey.

Nice and quiet in the evening. You’ll need an eye mask for some of the rooms as the curtains are typical Greek style in that they allow a lot of light in. We didn’t have any trouble parking each day outside the hotel

I stayed there with my girlfriend for two days. The location of the hotel is really convenient, in the center of Argostoli with various shops, restaurants and taverns nearby

The owners of the hotel are really friendly and always happy to assist and to provide tips. Rooms were nice and also really clean

but you can take the bus back for 5 Euros each from the central bus station and from the stop that is located almost outside the hotel

From the moment we arrived, the service at Canale Hotel and Suites was exceptional. Every request was listened to and delivered with such care—nothing was too much trouble. We felt truly looked after throughout our stay

The breakfast was amazing and wouldn’t be disappointed that’s if you can eat it all. The rooms were cleaned 2 to 4 times a day. Hot tubs on balcony with a great view. I will certainly be going back

Lovely family run hotel, really friendly people running the place, delish cocktails and food. You get the sun all day when day by the pool and can even stay for a beautiful sunset with accompanying cocktails

Location is perfect with access to Lassi, Argostoli and some beautiful local beaches. We found a tiny beach that almost felt private just a short walk away. And to top it off, great value for money

Our only complaints were the towels were air dried outside, so a little rough, and the shower was a bit small with a curtain that wanted to blow inwards! Otherwise, we highly recommend Oskars

Nice accommodation with a sea facing balcony , there are facilities for cooking in your room if you wish but the food at Oscars is very good and reasonable so we didn’t bother

The lovely kalamina beach is a short walk , beautiful clear water great for snorkeling , nice beach bar , loungers €15 for a pair with umbrella

First of all the family that run the complex , 3 brothers and their mum are super friendly and very welcoming, nothing too much trouble

It exceeded our expectations!! What really stood out though was how well we were hosted, the genuine care in making our stay such a great one - from the welcome touches when we arrived to the check-ins, recommendations and responsiveness of our hosts

The hotel is right on a busy street, but the sound proof windows kept the room nice and quiet. Athina’s recommendations were great, and she and her colleague easily handled an issue that arose for us in renting a car

We spent five nights at The Twelve Suites and it did not disappoint. The location is excellent, Athina and all the other staff are incredibly helpful and accommodating, and the rooms are comfortable and well stocked

The apartment is decorated in a modern style with lots of everyday comforts and conveniences. The location is amazing and the view from the balcony is stunning. Everything was super clean and felt just like home

The ideal place to stay in Argostoli. The suite is amazing, quiet, with great sea view, everything you need in a walking distance including lot of restaurants and supermarket

Location of the hotel is very central and a great location The room was modern and up to date The housekeeping needs to be addressed as the bathroom wasn't very clean even after housekeeping came daily the shower was left dirty and not to the standard excepted

Perfect Stay at Aenos Hotel – Heart of Argostoli We stayed at Aenos Hotel with a group of 11 people, and it was the perfect choice! The hotel is right in the heart of Argostoli, with everything within walking distance — the main square, shops, cafes, and the harbor

Not only was the hotel in prime location with wonderful art deco design and great Greek breakfast that kept one sustained during days of exploits but also a safe haven to retreat after late nights of zebeikko and ouzo

We were 5 minutes away from boats trips, less than 5 minutes to the central square. The room was spacious and comfortable, the shower was really good, the wi-fi was strong. We will be happy to come again

Hotel was located 3 minutes walking distance from central square close to port and restaurants. Breakfast was provided and had nice selection of items to choose from. Clean and large rooms.

Everything about this hotel was terrific ! the staff was extremely helpful, especially with calling taxis for us - to and from the beach, to and from the film festival. Breakfast was delicious, and location was great

Nice location, beautiful inside but terrible soundproofing. During the night the phone ringing from the reception Coul been heard as well as every sound from the road outside.

Excellent location with a wonderful sea view. The property was modernly decorated with new furniture and a large balcony where we could sit. There is daily cleaning and the cleaning staff were very kind

It's a beautiful sea view room. It would be better if the sofa bed was better. There should also be an induction cooker for cooking. But the view and convenience are unquestionable

Just stopped by for a chat with and coffee from the lovely Margarita, the cheerful friendly member of staff who got us some good coffee and yummy free cake! The hotel is across from the marina in Argostoli is a great place to watch the world go by

We had a room with a sea view, which we got, but the balcony was ridiculously tiny, no more than 25 centimetres deep, with a single stool and fold down table that was big enough for just one tea cup! Clearly we couldn’t spend any time on the balcony to enjoy the sea view

Pros: Great location, free parking on the street, comfortable beds, advanced gym (one machine and only dumbbell so you better know what you’re doing), balcony for laundry, decent breakfast included, rooftop bar / restaurant, and friendly staff

Small rooftop bar with spa pool, very little shade. Tiny but reasonably equipped gym, fine for one person at a time. Had a problem with ants one day, not good but maid cleaned everything quickly and thoroughly

Hotel not quite as modern as some photos suggest. Maybe a bit small for longer, not enough room to have 2 cases open. Good sized terrace, full sum in the day. Breakfast ok, nothing special

Overall it was quite expensive for the size of room and (lack of) balcony, but it served a purpose for us to crash our heads for a night and convenient for a 15minute drive to the airport

A special highlight was seeing Lambros behind the bar — a familiar and welcoming presence we’ve come to know over more than 20 years of visiting Lassi. Looking forward to our return visit in July 2026

I’ve given 5 stars before, but this is better. So really this should be six stars. The rooms are reportedly dated. That may be so, but the fittings are very high quality and a scrupulously maintained

There is an issue with the number of beds, which has partially been fixed by the addition of beds in the garden. I never failed to get a bed, but sometimes it was a bit out of the way

Room cleaning is astonishingly good and timely. The staff are among the best I have encountered and plainly all of them are long term employees

Very nice location, right by a very nice beach. Rooms are very clean with good amenities. The beach could do with several more sunbeds as by mid morning, they’re almost all taken
