Nice clean quiet hotel with beautiful garden, two bars, pool and really perfect clean beach with red sand and crystal clear water

The rooms are clean, furniture rather as in 3 or 3,5 star hotel, not as in 4 star hotel in Germany or in the Czech Republic, bathroom is tiny. Wifi connection in every room, but paid (35 euros for a week)

Staff is very friendly, polite. Food was all right, there is always something tasty. Overall we enjoyed our holiday and recommend this hotel

The swimming pools both had multiple easy access steps into the pool which was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful which made it a great holiday so much so that I've booked next year already!

Fantastic hotel, fabulous staff, amazing food! It is in a remote location but who cares as it’s just beautiful! Evening entertainment would have been nice, there is none

Checking out was very simple and straightforward, we decided to have a later checkout which was easy to arrange. The staff really looked after us well. I would definitely recommend this hotel

Rooms were spacious and cleaned every day. Had to walk to the beach which was about 5 min walk and down some steps. Sand was brown and soft and plenty of places to eat near the beach

There was a good variety of food, they regularly had things like pizza and chips but also had interesting dishes like okra (lady fingers) and moussaka. All the food we ate was fresh

Lovely hotel, reception staff very polite and answered any questions. Resort was clean, pools clean and plenty of sun beds. Breakfast choice was limited day to day but good quality

This is in a great location. Not staying at this hotel but went for drinks. Yesterday no problems but slow service. Today the service was so slow we walked out and went across the road. Great normally.

Lixouri and the Summery are just perfect. Clean towels everyday, good company and comfy beds. Breakfast is good and the room service perfect. Very flat outside so great for a stroll with my mam along the harbour

Staff couldn't do enough for us, probably go as far to say best staff I've ever met in a hotel ? and made us feel very welcome. We would definitely go back

The pool and beach area are excellent. Quiet and the perfect place to relax. mmmm again thankyou Summery we will be back x??

Also, the hygiene was mediocre, as the bathrooms had a disgusted smell, probably coming from the pipes, and the towels were changed only every three days

However, the pictures are misleading, as it's not as fancy as it looks

All staff and members are really helpful and friendly. We got lucky and we had beach view room and it was perfect. Food and breakfast was amazing and they also took care for us as i am vegetarian

You will traditional food and staff very friendly. If they have available umbrella then they will land us for free which was really helpful in August month

One thing to notice its near sea and other side of port so you always need some transportation

Clean room, very friendly staff (special mention for Nikos and his lovely daughter), very tasty typical Greek food! Garden and pool are a plus (especially in long hot summer days)! I will definitely recommend and come back!

Best hotel in Greece! Nikos makes the trip so special. It was our first time in Greece and we were on there for 2 days. The best 2 days of my life! Nikos and the rest of the staff make you feel at home

We stayed at Terra Mare 3 years ago and we really enjoyed it. Due to the place being busy, we couldn't get a space to stay this time. Howerver, the owner Niko and his family run the business

You won't find a more pleasant host than Nikos and his family in all of Kefalonia. Great complex with all the facilities and a hospitality that will make you return over and over again.

We faced an insignificant problem during our stay and the owner gave us an immediate solution and help. Moreover, you can enjoy breakfast, coffee and meal during your stay

We loved the place and the service so much, that we had to come in just to say hello. I had a coffee and a water on the house, Next year for sure, we will sary with them

We have been vacationing on the Island of Kefalonia for many years and Lixouri, and La Cite has been our best place to call home while we travel around Kefalonia

Lovely family run hotel We have stayed here many times over the years. Always very clean, staff very friendly and hotel is well located and comfortable.

Absolutely brilliant!!!! The staff are like family to everyone. Janeta welcomed us on our arrival and explained everything we needed to know. The rooms are spacious and immaculately clean, free air con, and safe!

A wonderful 2star Hotel Fabulous pool,lots of sunbeds. Excellent snack menu, breakfast included ( buffet style) bread, cheese, meat ,eggs cake. Staff make you feel part of a family

Above all, the team there at La Cite will make you feel at home from the time you arrive until the time you check out, you will be well taken care of during your stay

Has everything you need and more for a 2* in my opinion. Set in nice attractive grounds with a big deep swimming pool. Very helpful friendly staff.

Very clean, comfortable and just what we needed for our stay

Owners are very laborers and dedicated to their business. Do not be ashamed to ask what you want at breakfast. There is a very cute lady in the kitchen who will make you the most delicious breakfast with love-made cakes

Great location, just outside the town centre but a five minute stroll from it. The family who run the hotel are very friendly and helpful, they also run a restaurant nearby

There is also an excellent food market A / B as well as the nearby police station. For who comes with the car parking is not a problem. Spacious rooms and exemplary cleanliness

Three couples with two children. Fully equipped kitchen, clean bathroom, air conditioning or fans in all rooms and large balcony overlooking the sea. The owners are very polite and discreet

The food was lovely and they had a bar down at the beach. The only downside is that it very steep steps down to the beach but at the beach its lovely got sailing boats, catamaran's, kayaks and stand up boards

The staff are very nice, helpful and friendly. The food at the restaurant is very nice and this included in the quoted price 4 days a well allowing you 3 evenings free to visit the Tavernas in town

Excellent weeks stay, family run business staff were excellent and the room and setting were also great. Private beach less than 5 minutes walk away. Hopefully will return some time soon.

Stayed here for one week in June 2022. Small, quiet family owned and run hotel. Nothing was too much trouble from the friendly staff. Great beach with safe watersports below

Nice hotel. Good food and excellent service. We booked via Trek Adventures who provide really good water sports on the beach below the hotel.

There is a very nice swimming pool and the bar staff are happy to bring food and drinks to the tables on the pool level

Petros is a fabulous owner/host. Such a relaxing island too where you can visit different places at your own pace

We stayed here for 14 days and rented an apartment. The apartment is exactly as described, clean and functional with a small kitchenette, there is also a terrace. There are regularly clean towels and sheets

Petros greeted us, showed us around our amazing apartment and then when we went to the pool area he made us lunch - for free! It's so clean, you can order breakfast if you want. It's like having a whole pool to yourself

The breakfast is good and there is enough of everything. Petros is always present and tries to do as much as possible, he organized the airport transfer for us, which worked well

Whoever placed one star is SO WRONG! Wow - I love this hidden family run gem. Petros is so welcoming and would and does anything for you. We arrived at 11:30am after setting off at 2am

Beautiful location, superb position overlooking the town and bay of Lixouri. Very well equipped Villa with everything we needed for our family get together
