Marina Hotel

Hôtel sympa, chambre bien mais rudimentaire, pas de patères, rien dans SDB pour suspendre serviette, vêtements…Bonne literie. Mais l’accès pour ce rendre à l’accueil impossible pour les personnes en situation de handicap, escaliers c’est tout pas de rampe ,Ni ascenseur.

This small hotel is family owned and we were made to feel very welcome. Painted in traditional blue and white the premises were spotless and we stayed there for 2 nights bed and breakfast. Our twin room reminded me of Greek rooms of the 70s and was minimalist with a fridge, a drying rack for clothes and a veranda with pine trees outside offering shade and privacy. The breakfast was excellent offering a good range of foods. We had good air conditioning in our room which functioned efficiently. The price was very good value for money and the walk to the beach gave us our exercise. Lovely quiet situation with a small clean swimming pool.

We were in the hotel for the second time, it is a very, very lovingly run family hotel and we will come again. Breakfast was very good (delicious cakes, fruit) Rooms and the hotel were very clean Staff absolutely the best !!!!!

Petit hôtel de passage assez mignon. Ce n’est certes pas un 5 etoiles mais l’accueil y est très sympa, une petit décoration blanche et bleue assez mignone, une piscine agréable. Les chambres sont sommaires mais on ne cherchait pas plus pour une nuit. Et la literie est très bien. Petit déjeuner avec une petit gâteau teau maison que l’on a adoré.

Beautiful and relatively peaceful experience. We felt very welcome and at home in the room just by the pool. The pool was great!
However, that room had no Wi-Fi reception, the curtains were not occlusive (sunshine at 6am) and the air conditioning along with the fridge were so loud that we had to switch them off for the night. Even with that off, we were awoken at 6am by super loud pigeons and caged bird on the pine trees in the garden...

Great location, very nice hotel, clean and everything in the room works. Staff very friendly. Pool area fantastic.

Amazing place. Peaceful, beautiful and extremely good value for money (even with a pool). Basic rooms, but very clean and with nice balconies. We stayed one night and had breakfast. The family running the hotel treated us very kindly

Comfortable and chill! The hotel let us enjoy the best of Matala. The cleaning service is very well done, the only pitfalls are the breackfast that is quite repetitive and the pool is closed during nightime.

Tip: when walking back to the hotel in the evining, look up, the clean dark sky full of stars is pure awe!
