The family-run hotel, located near the tourist area with restaurants, bars and shops, 2 minutes from the bus stop in the direction of Rethymno.
Built: 1989
Renovated: 2009
Location: in the village of Platanias, just 50 m from bus stop, 6 km from the center of Rethymno, 65 km from the center of Chania 72 km from Chania airport, 77 km from the airport of Heraklion.
Only 44 rooms. There are non-Smoking.
Consists of one 2-storey building.
Beach: public sandy beach, 100 m from the hotel (1st coastal line). Umbrellas, chairs and beach towels - for a fee. The beach is 1 km away.

Pets are not allowed.

We stayed in this hotel for 10 days. The hotel very friendly to families with children. Rooms very clean, cleaned daily every day. Change of towels with new ones every day.
Very friendly, polite and helpful staff.
Breakfast tasty and the products are fresh.
Every now and then you can listen to live music in the bar, we had a great rock band.

Close to the beach, great pool. Lovely bar and fantastic service. Nice breakfast every morning. Literal 2 minute walk to the beach great restaurants literally next door/across the road

Thank you Axos team! We had a fantastic 5 days right at the start of the summer season. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed with open arms. Whilst it’s definitely the people who make the place so fantastic, the rooms were bright and clean with everything you could want for a self-catered holiday. Breakfast included was also a very welcome addition!

Very great staff and services. The bartender are very good and everyone is nice and friendly. Really recommend it.
In one night me and my friends where near the swimming pool at 12 in the night because it was my birthday and the owner surprised us with shots on the house and even brought a sparking candle and sang me happy birthday. Really great people and very friendly. I will come back when I get a chance.

Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast was great. The pool area was awesome. The location was near to the beach and there were plenty of shops and eating places nearby. After checkout I was able to use the pool area and there was a complimentary change area to use before we went to the airport.

It's three star's hotel but I have felt like I lived in a 5 star's hotel. People, place, the vibe, you can feel that you are in Greece, in Crete.
Staning beakfast everyday! Everyone can find something for themself! Of course a lot of Greek food but also French, English, Deuch thing what was so perfect so everyone!
The lady who's works at the breakfast was so nice and welcome you with a smile on their faces!
I also love that the owner of the hotel ( we eat ours breakfast at 8 ) was sitting with us and also smilling all the time and then she said to us "have a nice day!"
I was running everyday, so I got up at 6 and the men at the reception desk asked with a smile how was it, how much I was ran and even told me to be careful because there is a slippery outside.
It's Friday night everyone in Axos Hotel at the Axos Bar and you never be alone there !
If you are the guest of the hotel don't worry about the louder of the noises because the wall of the building are strong and big.
I definitely would come back to Axos hotel for the people, the vibe, food and the location 🙂

The hotel is located near lots of shops, restaurants and the beach is a 5/10 minute walk away.
The staff at the hotel are very friendly and happy to help.
There is room service everyday, where they make the beds, clean the surfaces, sweep and mop the floors.
There is a nice size swimming pool on site with a children's pool attached for younger children.
There is a bar onsite which has happy hour everyday between 19.00 and 21.00 for 20% off of cocktails. There is always music playing and they also have a DJ and love band on some evenings.
