Aktaion Hotel

Beautiful and clean place with lovely staff.
According to the Greek hotels categorization they absolutely deserve 3 stars!

It is located in a very nice spot, in the city centre, with a sea view. The facility was really clean during my visit.I loved the breakfast and the people there were very friendly. Although it is not in the castle town, one can either go on foot since it is really close to it (10-15m) or with the local bus right front of the hotel door. In general it was a good experience for me and I would definitely visit it again.

Very cozy and nice place with a stunning view. Stuff is really nice, generous, always trying to help and speaks English. No need to book a room in the island, you can easily go there in a few minutes and enjoy all staying in Aktaion.

Really good hotel with friendly staff and nice clean rooms with great views. Much better than expected. Breakfast includes boiled eggs, ham, cheese (unusual in Greek breakfast) and all the other standard staple items (yogurt, honey, coffee, tea, breads, juice, etc)

Lady of the house, Eleni, made my stay exceeding my expectations, by preparing a tasty breakfast. In this season breakfasts are usually not served, but I was offered it only because I asked. The choice of eggs, toasts, jams, varied fruits, croissants, milk, yoghurt, tea/coffee, cereal, sandwiches, meat.
Another best thing is the location: right at the entrance to the island, offering a perfect view. This is the best location for all people who are crazy about photography. I took plenty of nice picture from two balconies: one towards Monemvasia castle and another towards the harbor.
The object is clean and well maintained. All workers are welcoming and show interest. I wish them all good luck in business and many satisfied guests, especially those crazy about taking pictures:). Good job, well done, Eleni and the team!! :)

Perfect spot next to the causeway. Takes 15 minutes to walk to Monemvasia Basic and comfortable budget rooms with balcony. Right next to the bus arrival point from Sparta.

Restaurant pretty average but there are so many other great places to eat in either the ancient city or the harbour nearby.

Nice place in front of the bridge, very good quality for the price, very clean, the staff is lovely. You'll enjoy your stay.
