Amazing place, 100% real homemade food from scratch. Family of 4 stayed for couple of nights as we’ve organised the Christening for our little one.Our event was organised outside in Olive tree garden! Kids loved it. Food was stunning from the breakfast to lunch and our event. Good selection of wines. Staff was really helpful and kind all times.Absolutely recommend.
Beautiful estate for spending relaxing days surrounded by olive trees. It is very well kept and made with a lot of love to details. The hotel offers a wine and olive oil tasting, beautiful dinner and breakfast. Pay attention to the old olive mill at the reception, the antique furniture and the classic music in the yard. Perfect location to visit Monemvasia, the beaches and fish taverns.
The real thing. Among olive trees you enjoy a fully hand made breakfast peace super kind personnel and total. It is a destination on its own ! Comfortable room with 5 star amenities excellent bethroabs and great rooms. Definitely recommended

Kinsterna Hotel is a truly enchanting retreat that masterfully blends luxury with history in a beautifully restored Byzantine mansion. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with exceptional hospitality, and every detail of our stay was thoughtfully curated. The rooms offered breathtaking views of the lush countryside and Aegean Sea, while the serene hotel grounds, complete with elegant pools...
This was one of the most beautiful places I have stayed at. I wish I had longer to explore the gardens and expansive grounds. I am surprised that so much of the dining and drink options were closed in October as there were many guests looking for additional food and beverage options aside from the main restaurant.
The hotel is situated in a lovely piece of land that makes you feel like you are in Italy! Really peaceful and calm - so great if you need to relax. The restaurants Linos and Mouries serve great, delicious food, must try recipes with vegetables grown in the hotel ‘s farm! It is strongly recommended to book a massage for an ultimate relaxing experience. Will definitely visit again next autumn!
A beautiful hotel with history and character set in the rural rolling hills of the Aegean. The views from the main terrace are beautiful, and it was nice to indulge in jams, olive oil, wines, eggs, and honey made right on the property. The hospitality and service at the beautifully designed pools was great. The cuisine at the restaurant was excellent.
What a magical place! It is somewhat hidden, a very narrow road in the hills gets you to the hotel. Drive up to the parking gate and buzz reception, who will let you in. You will be met by a member of staff in a golf car to take you with your bags to reception and then to your room. Stunning views across the hills surrounded by olive trees and overlooking the sea and the Monemvasia rock in the distance...
A Hidden Gem in Greece! We absolutely loved our stay at Kinsterna. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, every aspect of our experience was truly exceptional. The hotel itself is stunning, nestled in a beautiful location with breathtaking views that create a perfect backdrop for relaxation. The food was another highlight of our stay. The breakfast was, without a doubt, the best I've...

I was very concered before booking this hotel because half reviews were great and the rest were incredibly bad. After my stay i understand totally the bad reviews. I would like to mention that the staff working there are the best and they deserve 5 stars. Always willing to help us. And also the pool area is very nice with sea water. In general the appartments are old and they did some renovation with...
Great location. Rooms are nice and bright and clean. Very friendly employees and attentive service.
We arrived all of a sudden, however, the personnel was unbelievably kind and friendly. We asked for a simple room just for a night but they offered an upgraded one with sea view (and the Monemvasia rock) for the same cost. Clean and really large room, great balcony and super cute bath. 5 stars to the staff also!!!
Great swimming pool. We had a lovely stay, close to the citadel. We are especially grateful for the honesty of staff and management. I forgot a precious and emotionally meaningful ring in the room and the manager took immediately care of it and sent it to our home. So thankful!
Stayed for a weekend with my wife. We booked an "executive double room" according to the offer and got really disappointed with the size of the room being barely larger than the double bed. The manager offered as a larger room (with an extra bedroom) so we decided to stay. The price offered was fair (time of visit first week of September) nevertheless there were some complaints. The bathroom was very...
Very helpful staff! Mara and Stathis are there to make you feel comfortable and answer all your questions. Great location, too! Very close to Monemvasia Castle, with plenty of parking spots. The room was what we expected. Clean and had the basic equipment for our stay.

We cannot thank the team at Alkinoi Resort enough! We chose this hotel to host our welcome party, wedding ceremony, and pool party. The spectacular setting of the hotel along with the service made unforgettable moments that we will forever cherish, we couldn’t be more pleased! Thank you for accommodating all of our requests and making the planning process seamless, especially as we live quite far away...
We had an unforgettable stay at Alkinoi in Monemvasia, Greece, this past August. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the attentive and friendly staff, including manager Yanis and the ladies at reception, who made our vacation extra special, especially for our little boy. Our room with a view of the pool and the sea was truly fantastic. Waking up every morning to such a breathtaking...
The manager of this hotel went out of his way to make our visit really special. It was my wife’s birthday and we had only booked our room the day before. He had limited availability but was able to shift things around so that we could have a nice room with a view of Monemvasia for 2 nights. On top of that he showed up at our door with Birthday cake and a bottle of Prosecco on ice! It was one of the...
We were fortunate to stay at this wonderful resort the first week of August. Great service, the owner and staff are warm and forthcoming. Great view, parking, the place is clean and well designed. Good breakfast We really had our stay here upgraded Highly recommended
If you are coming to Monumvasia and want to stay in the old city then you will be subject to parking your car at least one km away and walking to your hotel over cobblestones. I chose this hotel because it had free parking and is close to Monemvasia, perfect for older people who have trouble walking great distances. Nice breakfast buffet.
Great hotel with great services. We stayed there for 3 night and everything was perfect. Astonishing view of the castle and the sea and huge parking. The only bad thing is the noise isolation that is not there at all.
Great hotel, great service, great stay, great breakfast... clean, comfortable, nice and efficient staff, safe in the room, fridge, balcony... what else can we ask for?... well, maybe a room a bit bigger but it was fine, not a big problem. No doubt this is the best place to be when in Monemvasia (which, also, is a great location to visit).
Nice place. Clean and comfortable. Very friendly and hospitable. Good breakfast and great views of the Mediterranean and the Monemvasia castle.

If you are looking for a basic hotel, but clean, comfortable with the best shower you can imagine, comfy bed and located 2 minutes from the beach, than you are at the right place. We would definitely come back.
Good location, very close to the entrance to Monemvasia. Also, it’s about 200m away from a small but very clean beach, you can jump into the sea anytime you want.
The rooms are very nice but no coffee pot or telephone if that is an issue. Wonderful buffet breakfast and late evening bar but no restaurant. Our room had a balcony overlooking the sea.
Old hotel undergoing renovations. The ladies wanted more amenities than were offered. The men thought everything was good enough. Great view and is just a few steps from everything downtown. The grocery store is a short walk away.
We came to the hotel around 20:00, directly from the beach, hoping to shower. But there was no hot or at least warm water! We left the water running for 5-10 mins it was still cold! As we were with 8 months baby we had to warm the water in a kettle which we brought ourselves for preparing her meals. Apart from that room was big, beds were comfy, close to the shops, parking places nearby... but please...

The hotel is well situated. The views are amazing. The swimming pool and the sea are good for swimming and lounging. Make sure to stargaze at the swimming deck in the sea at night! Staff are nice hard working people.
The place was empty and it was past lunchtime and yet they accommodated us with open arms. Food was delicious, terrace has gorgeous view overlooking the sea, and the staff was kind, helpful and courteous. What's not to like? I would definitely recommend not only the restaurant but the hotel too, which has a swimming pool.
The location gets 5 stars. Right by the sea with a lovely deck so you can go swimming. The disappointment was breakfast. Of course there was the difficulty of Covid with no self-serve buffet allowed, but what we were served was poor (some slices of white bread along with little packets of jam, butter, honey), white toast with ham and cheese, a thin omelette and a pancake with chocolate spread, yogurt...
Excellent hotel close to Monemvasia. Very polite, heartwarming staff. Nicely decorated rooms and shared spaces. Overall a great experience. Όλα καταπληκτικά!
I had a fantastic time at Annema hotel. We did arrive with the BMW riders club Friday night for a two nights stay. The rooms are comfortable and the sea view from the hotel is amazing. Extremely clean and tidy. Friendly staff and in a good location but it's an old building and you can see it.
Pros: - Friendly, helpful, polite stuff - Clean and tidy rooms - Wonderful view - Taken COVID19 measures Cons: - In need of renovation, very old premises and design. Door security questionable - Squeaky beds and bad sound insulation - At least a 15 minute walk from the bridge to Monemvasia - Outrageously expensive compared to the service but is to be expected given the touristic magnitude

We stayed here for an overnight stay during our road trip and it was just fine. I’m not sure if I’d stay here for a long period as the room is a little small and outdated. Great experience in this hotel located next to the beaches and with a great view on the rock! Very kind staff!
Excellent location in a simple hotel that is very clean and comfortable. The bathroom/shower is excellent (by Greece standards) Spacious shower recess with a hook for the shower hose so you can wash your hair with two hands.😂😂😂. We have water views from the balcony and the beach is a short walk away. Could not ask for more.

It is located in a very nice spot, in the city centre, with a sea view. The facility was really clean during my visit.I loved the breakfast and the people there were very friendly. Very cozy and nice place with a stunning view. Stuff is really nice, generous, always trying to help and speaks English. No need to book a room in the island, you can easily go there in a few minutes and enjoy all staying in Aktaion.
Lady of the house, Eleni, made my stay exceeding my expectations, by preparing a tasty breakfast. In this season breakfasts are usually not served, but I was offered it only because I asked. One of the best hotels you will find in the old city. I literally cannot understand the bad reviews here. The place is clean with an amazing cafè downstairs and Jimmy the owner is one of the most hospitable persons you will ever meet !
Very unique! The old town is a little reminiscent of Mont Saint Michelle in France in terms of age, narrow winding streets without cars, etc. Rooms were nicely done while still keeping character of the castle and rocky surroundings. Comfy beds, quiet, one of a kind, memorable experience.
Simply excellent. Stayed here for one night- attentive staff, clean rooms some half built into the cliff face. Stone arches. It find itself on the not so busy part of town with an unparalleled aperitive terrace. They also give good advice on your travel plans and how to make the most of your trip in the town and elsewhere in the Peloponnese.

One of the best choices to stay inside the castle, try to book a room with a balcony to enjoy the view. Very picturesque and traditional but with all the amenities.
There are no words to describe Monemvasia itself. One of the most unique and stunning settings in the world. The hotel itself was charming with beautiful views. The breakfast was lovely too and we liked that we could take our trays back to our private balcony and enjoy it quietly. The room was basic but totally fine since we didn’t plan to spend much time inside it.
We loved Malvasia! We got a room with a balcony - great views!! Super cute room, spacious enough, very clean. Very attentive staff and easy check in. Not as expected. Don't book the double rooms, seems like they collect all the broken accessories here, there was not even a knife in the drawers. We changed into a bigger room because we expected the double bed to be bigger and we had our small daughter with us. They did not charge additional fees for it, which was nice. The bigger rooms bear more resemblance to what the photos show and initially we...
Cheap place with a great view. The whole place is in need of renovations, but for the price we paid I am willing to overlook that. Our room had no windows, just a partly glazed entrance door - what you see on the pictures is not an open balcony door, but the actual entrance into the room. Sadly the place also wasn't cleaned properly when we came. The kitchen is poorly equipped and the available dishes...

Good options to spend one or two nights in Monemvasia. Clean and big room. Though a little bit dark due to the narrow streets and the ground floor location. The bathroom could needs some renovation. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was excellent and very nicely located. The breakfast was outstanding. All the personnel was extremely helpful and knowledgable.
Outstanding service from booking through check out. Wonderful rooms and spectacular views - right in the heart of the walled city.
The hostess was lovely and very helpful! I would give her 5 stars! My room had a gorgeous bathtub which was perfect after a long day of trekking around. However, the room I had was below another room where kids were running around and screaming until about 1am. I would give this place 1000 stars if I could. The pretty reception area served as a beautiful backdrop, with flowers and a stone archway, for several family photos that the friendly staff members cheerfully snapped for us.
