Monemvasia, Agios Stefanos 🧭 Map
The rooms offered breathtaking views of the lush countryside and Aegean Sea, while the serene hotel grounds, complete with elegant pools and fragrant gardens, created an oasis of tranquility
Absolutely superb!!! A bit pricey but totally worth the expense. It is an unforgettable experience and we are planning to go back as often as we can afford to. Even our dog absolutely enjoyed himself.
Kinsterna Hotel is a truly enchanting retreat that masterfully blends luxury with history in a beautifully restored Byzantine mansion
From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with exceptional hospitality, and every detail of our stay was thoughtfully curated
The restaurants Linos and Mouries serve great, delicious food, must try recipes with vegetables grown in the hotel ‘s farm! It is strongly recommended to book a massage for an ultimate relaxing experience
The views from the main terrace are beautiful, and it was nice to indulge in jams, olive oil, wines, eggs, and honey made right on the property. The hospitality and service at the beautifully designed pools was great

Although it is not in the castle town, one can either go on foot since it is really close to it (10-15m) or with the local bus right front of the hotel door
The object is clean and well maintained. All workers are welcoming and show interest. I wish them all good luck in business and many satisfied guests, especially those crazy about taking pictures:)
Beautiful and clean place with lovely staff. According to the Greek hotels categorization they absolutely deserve 3 stars!
Lady of the house, Eleni, made my stay exceeding my expectations, by preparing a tasty breakfast. In this season breakfasts are usually not served, but I was offered it only because I asked
It is located in a very nice spot, in the city centre, with a sea view. The facility was really clean during my visit. I loved the breakfast and the people there were very friendly
The choice of eggs, toasts, jams, varied fruits, croissants, milk, yoghurt, tea/coffee, cereal, sandwiches, meat. Another best thing is the location: right at the entrance to the island, offering a perfect view

The housekeeping was great, attention to every single detail. The bed sheets were changed every 2nd day without request! In other words, the sporless cleanliness of the room left a very cozy and comfortable impression
The pool area is nice, the sunbeds are soft and comfy. Really the property is very beautiful! It is lockated in a very quiet area only 5 min drive from the city of monemvasia
Anyway thank you for making those 5 wonderful days that we stayed with you as beautiful and comfortable as it was only possible in the current situation with the virus
Unfortunately due to covid there was no restaurant service. I hope soon it will start its operation as I think I might have seen some tables meant to be for dining

Your exceptional service and attention to detail truly made a difference in creating a memorable experience for us and our guests. We appreciate all the effort you put into ensuring everything ran smoothly
Thank you for being a crucial part of our special day. A special thank you to Yianni for going absolutely above and beyond to make our guests feel at home
On top of that he showed up at our door with Birthday cake and a bottle of Prosecco on ice! It was one of the most memorable moments of our trip
We cannot thank the team at Alkinoi Resort enough! We chose this hotel to host our welcome party, wedding ceremony, and pool party
The spectacular setting of the hotel along with the service made unforgettable moments that we will forever cherish, we couldn’t be more pleased! Thank you for accommodating all of our requests and making the planning process seamless, especially as we live quite far away
We will forever look back on our stay in Monemvasia with fond memories, particularly due to the exceptional staff who exceeded our expectations to make our stay truly unforgettable

Great hotel with great services. We stayed there for 3 night and everything was perfect. Astonishing view of the castle and the sea and huge parking. The only bad thing is the noise isolation that is not there at all.
Great hotel, great service, great stay, great breakfast. clean, comfortable, nice and efficient staff, safe in the room, fridge, balcony. well, maybe a room a bit bigger but it was fine, not a big problem
Great service, the owner and staff are warm and forthcoming. Great view, parking, the place is clean and well designed. Good breakfast We really had our stay here upgraded Highly recommended
If you are coming to Monumvasia and want to stay in the old city then you will be subject to parking your car at least one km away and walking to your hotel over cobblestones
Nice place. Clean and comfortable. Very friendly and hospitable. Good breakfast and great views of the Mediterranean and the Monemvasia castle.
I chose this hotel because it had free parking and is close to Monemvasia, perfect for older people who have trouble walking great distances

Loved our multi-level 800 sq feet on the lower level of the city. Very clean with daily cleaning. The bougainvillea were in bloom in our garden space where we enjoyed afternoon wine every day
This must be one of the most authentic suites that I have ever seen. Roomy, authenthic and comfortable. Not cheap but a lot of value for your money. Close to the sea and in the middle of Low town
Extraordinary hotel in the new city of Monemvasia, which, of course, means it was built 800 years ago. We stayed in a beautiful duplex with a private terrace looking over the Aegean Sea
Awesome rooms with excellent view. Really nice and thoughtful staff. Great prices for such beautiful amenities. Breakfast was cooked the morning we reserved and it was really tasty. I will certainly visit again.
The space I stayed in had multiple levels which is important to know if you have certain disabilities or suffer from dizziness because the steps leading up to the bedroom are steep
Our room had a lovely view with balcony, desk, sizable TV, and very comfortable bed. The small living room was outfitted with a sofa and TV

The rooms are very nice but no coffee pot or telephone if that is an issue. Wonderful buffet breakfast and late evening bar but no restaurant. Our room had a balcony overlooking the sea.
Probably my favorite hotel I stayed at on my trip to Greece. Beautiful view! Very close to the old city on the rock. Close to restaurants. Very friendly and nice staff that give wonderful recommendations!
If you are looking for a basic hotel, but clean, comfortable with the best shower you can imagine, comfy bed and located 2 minutes from the beach, than you are at the right place. We would definitely come back.
Good location, very close to the entrance to Monemvasia. Also, it’s about 200m away from a small but very clean beach, you can jump into the sea anytime you want.
But down at heel. Sea view rooms also have great view of main road into town. No double glazing ☹️. Friendly staff. Average if plentiful breakfast. Not value for money.
We had laundry done and it was SUPER reasonable (10 per large load washed/dryed/folded) Road noise and church bells (Sunday only). Love that they offer family made jelly and jam

The place was empty and it was past lunchtime and yet they accommodated us with open arms. Food was delicious, terrace has gorgeous view overlooking the sea, and the staff was kind, helpful and courteous
I had a fantastic time at Annema hotel. We did arrive with the BMW riders club Friday night for a two nights stay. The rooms are comfortable and the sea view from the hotel is amazing
The hotel is well situated. The views are amazing. The swimming pool and the sea are good for swimming and lounging. Make sure to stargaze at the swimming deck in the sea at night! Staff are nice hard working people.
Right by the sea with a lovely deck so you can go swimming. The disappointment was breakfast
The owners are very responsive and the best part is the breakfast and general the food. I do re comment this hotel to anyone that want to spend quite vacations and also for bikers
Excellent hotel close to Monemvasia. Very polite, heartwarming staff. Nicely decorated rooms and shared spaces. Overall a great experience. Όλα καταπληκτικά!

I would like to mention that the staff working there are the best and they deserve 5 stars. And also the pool area is very nice with sea water
We arrived all of a sudden, however, the personnel was unbelievably kind and friendly
We asked for a simple room just for a night but they offered an upgraded one with sea view (and the Monemvasia rock) for the same cost. Clean and really large room, great balcony and super cute bath
The manager offered as a larger room (with an extra bedroom) so we decided to stay. The price offered was fair (time of visit first week of September) nevertheless there were some complaints
The sink was actually in a countertop next to the bed which was a bit strange at least. On the bright side, the pool (filled with sea water) and the surrounding space was very nice
We had a lovely stay, close to the citadel. We are especially grateful for the honesty of staff and management

Extremely clean and tidy. Friendly staff and in a good location but it's an old building and you can see it.
Door security questionable - Squeaky beds and bad sound insulation - At least a 15 minute walk from the bridge to Monemvasia - Outrageously expensive compared to the service but is to be expected given the touristic magnitude
Pros: - Friendly, helpful, polite stuff - Clean and tidy rooms - Wonderful view - Taken COVID19 measures Cons: - In need of renovation, very old premises and design

The bathroom/shower is excellent (by Greece standards) Spacious shower recess with a hook for the shower hose so you can wash your hair with two hands
Great experience in this hotel located next to the beaches and with a great view on the rock! Very kind staff!
Excellent location in a simple hotel that is very clean and comfortable
We stayed here for an overnight stay during our road trip and it was just fine. I’m not sure if I’d stay here for a long period as the room is a little small and outdated
The location is FANTASTIC, right on the beach! However it does get noisy at night from the cafes right underneath. WiFi was a little spotty as well in our room
Clean and budget friendly with breakfast. Partial view of the ocean and Monemvasia. Hotel manager was very friendly and helpful.

Very nice traditional houses, just next to the city walls, with unlimited sea view smelling the sea breeze, very polite staff
Stayed here for one night- attentive staff, clean rooms some half built into the cliff face. It find itself on the not so busy part of town with an unparalleled aperitive terrace
Rooms were nicely done while still keeping character of the castle and rocky surroundings. Comfy beds, quiet, one of a kind, memorable experience
Very unique! The old town is a little reminiscent of Mont Saint Michelle in France in terms of age, narrow winding streets without cars, etc
They also give good advice on your travel plans and how to make the most of your trip in the town and elsewhere in the Peloponnese
The place is clean with an amazing cafè downstairs and Jimmy the owner is one of the most hospitable persons you will ever meet !

We loved Malvasia! We got a room with a balcony - great views!! Super cute room, spacious enough, very clean. Very attentive staff and easy check in. They can arrange help carrying your luggage to your room if desired
The breakfast was lovely too and we liked that we could take our trays back to our private balcony and enjoy it quietly. The room was basic but totally fine since we didn’t plan to spend much time inside it
The world that describes this place is MAGICAL, one of the best hotels I stayed in Greece. We stayed in room 14 and it was magical. It was a wonderful combination between modern and historical experience
The staff very friendly, welcome and polite. The breakfast was wonderful plentiful of different and very tasty dishes. We tasted traditional meals, as well as very tasty well prepared classic once
One of the best choices to stay inside the castle, try to book a room with a balcony to enjoy the view. Very picturesque and traditional but with all the amenities.
There are no words to describe Monemvasia itself. One of the most unique and stunning settings in the world. The hotel itself was charming with beautiful views

At night the air condition started sounding like an air plane, we had to take the fuse out to make it stop, switching it off did not do the trick. In total: Not recommended for 103€ a night in high season
Amazing, chill place at good price. There is very well maintained swimming pool (with sea water) and the apartments are decently equipped for few days stay
The residence is beautiful, with a lot of flowers and stunning view
Our room had no windows, just a partly glazed entrance door - what you see on the pictures is not an open balcony door, but the actual entrance into the room. Sadly the place also wasn't cleaned properly when we came
We changed into a bigger room because we expected the double bed to be bigger and we had our small daughter with us. They did not charge additional fees for it, which was nice
The kitchen is poorly equipped and the available dishes aren't clean. It's not a bad place to stay for a few days, but it would have a lot more potential

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was excellent and very nicely located. The breakfast was outstanding. All the personnel was extremely helpful and knowledgable.
One of the bed areas had windows like paintings from a fairy tale with views over clay-tiled roofs to a picturesque church bell tower and the blue sea
Its whitewashed main body, contrasting perfectly with its brick end wall and the greenery and flowers cascading over the edge of our adjacent clay-tile topped stone wall, created a romantic painter's dream
The front door to our room was up a quaint narrow staircase. The spotlessly clean and spacious room greeted us with stone floors and exposed beams
Outstanding service from booking through check out. Wonderful rooms and spectacular views - right in the heart of the walled city.
Stunned as we already were, we then stumbled upon our porch, which abutted an impossibly cute and quaint tiny little church

Fantastic little castle town and hotel. Great view of the sea and the staff is very welcoming and speak decent English. They gave us a free 357 ml bottle of a local sweet wine as a gift
The only downside is that they are on the farther side of town so you'll have to haul your suitcase over some bumpy roads and stairs to get there. It is very quiet on that side of town however
Very comfortable stay in a lovely room and excellent service! The staff were brilliant and everything was really clean! Staying in the castle is a unique experience that should not be missed!
if you're feeling adventurous, there's a sturdy ladder you can cling to while you dip your toes in the choppy but beautiful water
wonderful, wonderful, wonderful! a warm and friendly family runs a beautiful hotel in a perfect location within the castle walls
this is a paradise! :) pro tip: put on your bathing suit and splash in the surf along the rocks

+ price for rooms, car parking , location close to the sea, panoramic seaview, pool, clean rooms, helpful stuff, bar, close to Monemvasia and citycenter. - waterpool needs to be clean more better .
A small but nice hotel, especially since it has a Saltwater pool and the Sea is possibly 50 meters away. They handle the covid19 problem with success, especially for breakfast
The only problem is if you are planning to stay for two or three weeks, the room is very small, and if you like to buy a watermelon 🍉 it's a problem because the fridge is a bit bigger than a mini bar
Their own fresh eggs, water, tea coffee and other basics complimentary in communal kitchen. Kitchenette in the room was well equipped with complimentary large bottle of water in the fridge too
Was only going to stay one night but stayed two, to explore the area more. Really nice clean room, views amazing, peaceful with very pleasant family running it
Reception very helpful, friendly with really warm welcome. Saw this hotel by passing and seeing the pool. It looked inviting, well kept and easy to park

Amazing view, I think the best you can have from spots outside the castle. Service was excellent and the rooms are top!
You have to try the traditional and very delicious breakfast that is served there. The best choice to stay there
If you want a relatively cheap Hotel and place to stay for one night, this hotel is great for you. The rooms are a little bit noisy and it is not top modern but not too bad at all
