The Greeks just know how to be hospitable. I am a tough customer and have picked holes at a number of so-called 'luxury' resorts in the past. but Kinsterna is a rare thing

Good location, very close to the entrance to Monemvasia. Also, it’s about 200m away from a small but very clean beach, you can jump into the sea anytime you want.

If you are looking for a basic hotel, but clean, comfortable with the best shower you can imagine, comfy bed and located 2 minutes from the beach, than you are at the right place. We would definitely come back.

The stay was in a good location and was comfortable and clean. However we had a top floor room and were woken up by very loud banging. Turned out they were replacing the roof and we were not warned

Old hotel undergoing renovations. The ladies wanted more amenities than were offered. The men thought everything was good enough. Great view and is just a few steps from everything downtown

The rooms are very nice but no coffee pot or telephone if that is an issue. Wonderful buffet breakfast and late evening bar but no restaurant. Our room had a balcony overlooking the sea.

Excellent Fabulous hotel, very helpful staff, great views. The walk up the hill was a bit difficult for us only because of age and heat but otherwise great location.

Amazing views Amazing views from our balcony. Lots of parking. Many seaside restaurants in town. Good breakfast. A bit of an uphill climb from town.

No doubt this is the best place to be when in Monemvasia (which, also, is a great location to visit)

This place is beautiful but hard to get to one way in. Bringing a suitcase will be tough. Worth it from the peaceful and breathtaking views. Olive oil here is amazing.

Amazing venue in an Olive Garden. Rooms are spacious sparkling clean providing an environment of peace and tranquility. Staff experienced and polite. Breakfast is a real culinary experience

Padded lounges, beanbags, umbrellas, drinks/ food on the beach made it very enjoyable for 4 seniors. Nice rooms with adequate space. Staff are amazing! Lots of steps if not in one of the ground level rooms

Really lovely, modern beachfront hotel. Stayed here as a family of four during September. Slightly windy during our stay so going to the beach was not on the cards, but stay was absolutely beautiful

Quiet hotel, extremely spacious rooms (we had an apartment with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen and living room); very clean. Wonderful hospitable people at the reception and at breakfast and bar

The bar attendant George made exceptional cocktails and mocktails for the kids. The Greek bar vibes were superb. The staff were very friendly and helpful whenever we asked questions and they found the answers

Located with a divine view of the harbour of Gytheio and close access to restaurants and coffee and souvenir shops. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast is a quite decent buffet style arrangement.

The views of Gytheio port are beautiful and really made the stay special. The only downside was parking

But, If you plan to enjoy activities in and around Gytheio, having a car is almost essential

The town itself is walkable, but many of the best experiences are spread out along the coast or tucked into the surrounding hills

Other than that, everything else was excellent, and I’d happily stay again!

When one reviews a hotel, as we are all asked to do these days, it is a given that there will be cleanliness, good food, a pleasing location, etc

Beautiful hotel in a perfect seaside location! The garden with its shady trees is wonderful for relaxing. The staff is extremely attentive and friendly, and the breakfast is absolutely delicious

On the other it is necessary to do full justice to the excellence one experiences in a hotel and to give due credit to the people that ensure that excellence
