Haikos Hotel

Oh this place is just wonderful! It is walking distance to restaurants and other food places. The staff are just so friendly and go over the top for you, will call you a taxi, recommend places, help you take your suitcases around. For a 2 star hotel, it is absolutely AMAZING. Please come here if you ever need a place to stay.

The best hotel on Navarinou beach. Excellent service, friendly staff, super clean room, great sea view.

For a 2* star hotel, it is clearly above this standard. The rooms are clean and the guest service is great. You feel welcome from the start and are given all the information you need. The rooms are clean and there is a small lift to the upper floors. The reception is manned 24 hours a day and what is of great use for guests with cars is that there is a certain number of parking spaces at the hotel!
We can really recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay inexpensively but still relatively central to the seafront.

The Haikos Hotel, is our favourite hotel, not just in Kalamata but of all the hotels we have stayed anyway. It should be classified as higher star rated hotel. Apart from the pandemic, my wife and I have been staying at the Haikos for two weeks every year in May, since 2016. Why do we keep going back? Words cannot describe enough how much we love the family owned and run hotel. Perfect location, not just to the beach but everywhere else in Kalamata and surrounding places. It even has its its own car park. The hotel rooms are lovely, clean, comfortable and are of very 'High Standard', serviced by professional staff, that just happen to be the same staff that have been there every year since our first stay in 2016. 'The Management' many of which are family and staff, all of whom have a long service record with the hotel, are professional, helpful in every aspect, and above all respectful, sincere and friendly. Nothing, and I mean nothing is too much trouble. we have just returned to the UK from a 17 day stay at the Hotel Haikos. Buster and Pat Beckett

We got a nice room on the third floor overlooking the messinian golf.
Our stay was really pleasant and staff was very helpful!
Except from a few details such as that the window lock was not working and we had a narrow shower space this hotel’s experience was above a two star hotel and recommended.

I stayed here for 1 night last month following my arrival to Greece for an archaeological excavation program. The staff were incredibly helpful and hospitable, and even arranged a taxi for me the next morning! I wish I could have stayed longer, but I am so glad that I now know of a great place to stay the next time I am in Kalamata.
