Filoxenia Hotel Monemvasia

For us this is the best hotel in Monemvasia: beautiful and clean rooms, each with its own balcony, breathtaking view, the hotel is spotless (very diligent, helpful and nice cleaning team, like everybody else around), has a terrace on the beach where they serve drinks and food (opened till 12 at night, and we had there the best Dakos salad), plus they have sun-beds.. What more can you wish for? Well, it's in walking distance to all the restaurants and, if you don't feel like walking to the Castle, the bus station or even the taxi station are near the hotel. You can park your car for free near the hotel. We spent our vacation at Filoxenia three times already and we will be back for sure!

Great hotel for exploring Monemvasia. The rooms are quite retro and could take a renovation, but everything is still working and clean. Staff is also super friendly and helpful. Great value for the price.

We wanted to stay for one night but stayed in this Hotel for two.
First: we are travelling the Greece and every night staying in different hotel. It was our 7th night. Sooo... It was the hotels of 4, 5 stars...etc. But the guys from Filoxenia Hotel were the first where to us was offered (for example) a antimoschito device. And the hairdryer (finally) was working properly. They had also warm blankets (bcs it was the end of October already).
Second: the Breakfast deserves its own article: they have very good and rich breakfast 🥞- sweets (4-5 kinds), yogurt, self-made jam, salads, eggs (3 kinds), 4 different breads, juice, coffee, tea and many-many other things! Very tasty 😋

Room: clean, fresh, simple, everything works, fresh clean towels.

View from the window 🪟😲 is just breathtaking (photos)! Sound of the sea....all night. Room has everything you need and if it's not- ask and they will bring it to you. (Many thanks for boiler).

Staff is just lovely and very nice. They gave us a map of The Castle 🏰 of Monemvasia and explained even the opening hours of the museums . Thank you, guys! It was the best two days of our vacation. We will come back to you every time we gonna come to Monemvasia.

I work also in turism sector in Greece (and in the hotel as well!)- you have a very good level. I know what to check - ✔️ - and i was very calm and happy to be here.

Lovely people, they adapted quickly to my restricted diet (without dairies) and were always very hospitable. Loved them as well as the beautiful place, where your breakfasts are served next to the sea.

Filoxenia means hospitality and is a really appropriate name for this place where a lovely staff did his best for our stay to be the best. The place simple but confortable and clean. Excellent breakfast and a lot of care was taken to adjust for allergies on diary to be compensated. Thank you very much we will come again…

Just completed our stay here. A+++. Staff, accommodations, breakfast, parking, hospitality….. all very good. Extremely convenient to the local town and access to Castle town. The 2nd floor room is all by itself with private balcony!!!

Good standard of accomodation in a prominent sea front location. Good breakfast available at reasonable cost. Very helpful staff.

Absolutely wonderful!! Φιλοξενία -hospitality - to its fullest!! Prime location by the sea and spectacular view of the castle. The rooms spacious enough, service excellent and friendly staff to tell of, breakfast was satisfactory too and enjoyed beach side. Conveniently located close to bus stop taking you to and from the castle and within walking distance from lovely taverns, eateries and cafes on other end of waterfront. Highly recommended and most certainly will return!!

Gorgeous views! Comfortable and clean rooms. Great location. Easy access to swimming, with a great cafe on the beach. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. We cannot wait to stay here again.

Clean rooms. Affordable. Nice breakfast bar with full view of sea. Air conditioning worked perfectly.
