We recently stayed at Porto Naxos and had a fantastic experience! The staff made us feel incredibly welcome, offering great tips for exploring the island. The hotel, designed like a Spanish villa, was warm and homely, with spacious, spotless rooms perfect for relaxation. We enjoyed the lovely pool, all-day coffee bar, and the on-site tennis court. Breakfasts featured a variety of local foods, and free parking was a convenient perk. The cozy lobby with a small library was a nice touch, and the location was ideal—close to the city center but peaceful. Highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and serene stay. We can’t wait to return!

A beautiful little hotel just outside of town. We stayed here for 3 nights and really enjoyed our time here. The hotel is beautiful, clean, and quiet. Our double room was bright, airy and well maintained. Unlike some other hotels in town, this hotel has a big pool and spacious grounds. There are plenty of sunbeds if you want a day by the pool, and you won’t feel crammed in at all. Breakfast is quite basic, and could do with a few more options, but there’s enough to set you up for the day. Location is excellent, only a few minutes walk from the beach. Depending on the time of day (and temperature) it will take about 15 minutes to walk into the main square. Carry on a few minutes further and you will reach the port and the old town. There’s no need for a car or scooter, unless you really want one, or you are travelling further around the island. There is a cool open air cinema across the road, and also a big supermarket. Really enjoyed our stay at Porto Naxos and would happily stay here again.

We loved our stay at Porto Naxos! The hotel is fantastic - the pool area is great, the location is so convenient and very walkable to the main town and the staff are so friendly and helpful! We would definitely come back!

Porto Naxos hotel was the first hotel on a few Greek islands we visited during our trip. It is located on the edge of the central area with an easy walking of 15 to 20 minutes to the heart of the town. Our room was on the first floor with a tiny balcony, unfortunately facing the busy road, getting quieter after midnight. The bathroom offered basic toiletries. The hotel features a small pool area, but I cannot comment on it since we haven't used this facility. However, one of the biggest downfall of our stay was that the breakfast offered is served way too late at 8am. Should your plans required to leave prior 8am there is no possibility to even get a hot water for a tea or a basic breakfast. I would recommend the hotel will start their breakfast at least at 7:30am or sooner to accommodate patrons leaving in the early mornings. Across the street is a small supermarket opening at 7:30am. The island of Naxos is worthwhile to visit and I will hold fond memories of this beautiful Greek island with its picturesque centre, amazing Portara of Apollo, Venetian Castle, Kouros statue/ Apollonas and Temple of Demeter.

We stayed in the Porto Naxos for two weeks on our third visit to Naxos. It’s in a great location for walking to the beach (6mins) and the Chora (15mins). It’s also right opposite the bus stop to get to Plaka beach etc. The hotel is super clean and the pool area is beautiful. We can recommend the cocktails- mango daiquiri in particular! The breakfast is very good- lots of fresh homemade produce and the staff are super helpful, dialling out for pizza delivery when we arrived late due to a delayed ferry! We would easily return here as it was a good base for our holiday.

I recently stayed at Porto Naxos, and unfortunately, my experience was far from what I had hoped for. From the outside, the hotel gives the impression of a resort, with its well-maintained exterior and inviting pool area. The location is also convenient, being right in front of a supermarket, which was a plus.
However, the positives stop there. Upon entering our room, we were immediately disappointed. The room was outdated, and to make matters worse, we found a fly, a spider, and a mosquito inside as soon as we walked in. This made the room feel unclean and unwelcoming.
Another major issue was the lack of connectivity. There was no reliable connection to the Wi-Fi, and even mobile data was virtually non-existent. This made it incredibly difficult to communicate with my family members during our stay. When I approached the reception about the issue, I was told that the poor Wi-Fi was due to the large number of people using it, which is hardly an acceptable excuse.
Overall, I was disappointed with my stay at Porto Naxos. While the pool and location were nice, the outdated room, insect issues, and lack of connectivity made for a frustrating and uncomfortable stay. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel, especially if you rely on a stable internet connection or expect a clean, modern room.

This hotel is close to the center of the town and close to Agios Georgios beach, but also in front of a very very busy street and next to a free parking alley. The sound of cars and people is permanent, day and night, which means that even if there is a cool night, you can't leave the balcony door open, unless you are a very heavy sleeper. The rooms are big and bright and breakfast is really good, with local produce, unless you are vegan (no vegan options). The pool is Ok, but has loud music, sometimes a bit too loud (how can you relax like that?) . The people working there are super nice, very helpful, especially those working at breakfast. The hotel is opposite a big super markt for all the essentials (watch out when crossing the busy street, thou!) and very close to the bus stop taking you to other places in the island. Also, right next to an open air cinema thats shows, surprisingly, all the new blockbusters. So, it has its (many) flaws, but also has a lot of good.

We had an excellent stay at Porto Naxos Hotel during our time in Naxos. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, showing genuine care for our needs throughout our stay. Maria warmly greeted us and gave us excellent recommendations for the island, she was fantastic! Additionally the facilities were top-notch, with the pool and breakfast being standout features. We highly recommend Porto Naxos Hotel for anyone visiting Naxos. We look forward to returning!

A great place to stay in the quieter part of Naxos. Nice rooms. Good location near bus stop and supermarket, 7 minutes walk to beach and a bit longer to town. Staff were lovely. Great cocktails at the pool bar. Lovely deep pool. Fantastic breakfasts; great selection and beautiful home cooked food and baking.

We stayed here for a week and loved it! From the moment we arrived, staff were nothing but friendly and accommodating, including the front desk staff, room cleaners, and breakfast staff. The hotel is extremely clean and gives a feeling of luxury and calm. The decor is light, airy, and all of good quality. The breakfast is superb (with scrambled AND fried eggs, among a feast of local treasures like feta, gruyere, and thyme honey) and the breakfast terrace is gorgeous. You can walk to the beach and Old Town Naxos in under 10 minutes and be by the water at Naxos Port in 15. The only feedback I'd offer is that the bed was a bit on the firm side for our taste, but I did adjust and ended up sleeping great. The rates were spectacular for the accommodations and I would absolutely stay here again. 10/10 stay.
