Golden Star City Resort

My husband and I just stayed here for 2 weeks and had a lovely experience. The staff were all very nice and accomodating. George was very knowledgeable of the area and gave us some great advice on places to go visit. The views from our suite were gorgeous and being right on the promenade made walking everyday right by the water part of our favorite routine. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious. There was enough of a variety at both that neither of us got bored with the options.

We book only for Christmas dinner 2 families with kids .very friendly. The food was excellent!!
Service was always with smile !!very friendly and respectfully to everyone!!very good in details also for the most demanding people!!!

We recommend the hotel if you want to visit Thessaloniki. We arrived in November and the hotel was warm and full of guests from all over the world. Advantages - Comfortable rooms with a sea view, a rich buffet breakfast with squeezed grapefruit juice, several restaurants with Greek cuisine in the area... Right next to the beach....

This hotel was perfect for all our needs during our vacation in Greece and I would highly recommend it to everyone.

The room was perfect, the bed was comfortable, we were delighted with the "pillow menu". The shower is spacious, the no-closet closet was genious, the balcony had the sea view even though we didn't pay for the room with the sea view and the cleaning ladies did a great job every time we requested the service.

The breakfast was delicious and there were so many options to choose from, every morning was exciting. The staff at breakfast, as the staff at the beach were so attentive, especially the girl named Nancy - she served us almost every day at the beach and was so nice and easy to communicate with.

The sunbeds and umbrellas provided for free for the hotel guests were amazing and we loved having a private beach to go to every day.

Their spa was also very nice. Although small, and the masseus not being available, we still had a great time at the jacuzzi, but maybe I wouldn't recommend it since I'm not sure it's really worth the 80 euros we payed for it.

We also had dinner at the hotel's restaurant one night and the food was also delicious, although a bit pricier than at other restaurant around the hotel.

The receptionists were also very attentive and kind, they answered all our questions and they even let us keep the luggage at the hotel after check out while we were waiting for our flight later in the evening.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a carefree and laid back holiday in Greece for a reasonable price.

We had a great time while staying at the Golden Star Hotel. An hotel with a great location where you can catch beautiful lilac+blue sunsets, there are supermarkets near, parking place available . The food is amazing, rooms are super clean, and the staff is super friendly. A special thanks to the lady that works on this hotel named Tushe, she was amazing and guided us through the special activities we can do close to the beach and also gave us some ideas. Super friendly and an amazing lady. Also special thanks to George and the other German guy at the reception (forgot his name :( ), they were very helpful and also offered us even a better room than what we ordered. They should get bonuses definitely as they go out of their way to be helpful.👑

Golden Star City Resort is without any doubt the best place to stay in Perea.
Hotel have its own beach that can be used by guests and it is very near to the property. The beach is very clean and serene.
The employees are verry friendly.
Towels are provided with a deposit of 10Euros per towel and it is refundable.

The resort is in a great location and has prime access to the beach. Included buffet was lovely and the rooms looked to be upgraded. Economical stay and quite close to the airport for anyone that is there for a couple of nights. Would recommend.

Golden Star City Resort is undoubtedly the best place to stay in Perea Town. The beach is very near to the property. The beach is very clean and serene. The waters are shallow and a great place for kids to enjoy. The Buffet breakfast was delicious with many authentic Greek cuisine. The employees are very friendly. Towels are provided here with a caution deposit of 10Euros per towel and it is refundable. Airport transfer is also available. It is very much budget friendly too.

Well located with great view. I recommend to choose sea view rooms, as the view is breathless.

Room has all facilities (even smart TV wasn't working for 2 overnights of our stay - despite the fact that we mentioned this twice to the reception staff).

Breakfast is really great and I was happily surprised that the buffet was refilled, even 5' before the end.

You have two parking options, one on the public streets and another one on the parking area of the hotel, which is a private place and is under payment.

Definitely will visit this venue again.

Nice hotel directly on the beach! Room was clean and simple, definitely spring a little extra for the ocean view from your balcony!
