Kymata Hotel in Platamonas

There’s a beautiful restaurant with a stunning sea view, which adds to the romantic and peaceful atmosphere. Private parking is available, and guests have access to a private beach – perfect for a worry-free holiday. Highly recommended for couples or families looking for a quiet and relaxing vacation!

We stayed here for one night en route to Athens. We had a full day at Thessaloniki and needed a nice comfortable bed. Kymata delivered just that and more. We opted for the King suite and the furnishing and ambiance was truly well thought out. Very solid doors, two balconies, pull out bed adjoining balcony also. Lots of extra pillows and blankets in the closet. The bedroom balcony overlooking the sea added a really nice and unexpected wow factor for us. Remember though everyone’s expectations and taste differ. We were not expecting much and for us this place was very memorable. Last but by no means least. The people/ staff/ team at Kymata, your attitude epitomized great customer service. Thank you so much for every little thing.

I have mixed feelings about this hotel. The biggest advantage of this hotel is its location, just right on the beach, very secluded and quiet place, heaven for introverts and people who want to relax. But it’s still pretty close to Platamonas city with all bars and restaurants, just 20 minutes by foot. Beach belongs to hotel, which is good thing. They didn’t charge us for sunbeds but when we were leaving, there was already information added about 10 euro charge per sunbeds. Hotel consists of 2 buildings: one with bigger but older rooms and second with new but small rooms. We’ve got old room (but bathroom was big and new) with not functioning jacuzzi on terrace but we didn’t like it so they offered us new room which is much smaller (15 m2) and hotter but with air conditioning it was fine. It was on the roof where cats live, we like cats so we were feeding them, not sure why they don’t feed them, they are very hungry :-( please feed cats if you are there 🙏 what I do not recommend is to have prepaid dinner as they don’t give you food from their main menu but some cheapest options with no fish and dessert is 3 pieces of watermelon, very disappointing. After 3 such dinners we just started to go for dinner to taverna Dolphin just behind hotel - very good seafood for the fair price. It would be more expensive in hotel restaurant. But generally speaking we had a great time in this hotel so I’d probably go there again just without prepaid dinner ;-)

Perfect vacation, a lovely place right by the sea, a pleasant staff with excellent service. A room right on the beach... you couldn't ask for more. Highly recommended

Lovely clean hotel with exceptional staff

Wounderfull, quiet hotel, straight on the beach. Location is definitely it's strongest asset. It's secluded and Has private beach. No crowds. At the same time it's only 100m from a supermarket and 15min walk from the closest town if you want to go to a restaurant or bar. Awesome view from the restaurant. Rooms are very comfy with a fridge, hair dryer and AC. Very clean. Each room with a balocony. Very nice and helpful staff. Nice place not only for swimming but also for hiking (taxi to Palntaleimonas takes 12min).

Wonderful, cozy and quiet hotel with its own beach, beautiful view at the sea, very good food and the nicest people. Just perfect! It was a great stay ☀️🌊

We had a great time with friends at this hotel. All the staff members were very polite and always ready to help. Great view, clean and well equipped rooms with great view and amazing food in the restaurant. We ordered food from the menu and everything was super fresh and delicious. The only problem was that we could not stay more this time. Thank you KYMATA for the great time!
