We are a Dutch family of five adults and stayed at the hotel for a week in early August. We departed from Germany and traveled overnight, arriving at the hotel around 6:30 a.m. Upon check-in, the rooms were not ready yet, but we were given the opportunity to store our luggage centrally. That was well arranged, however, at the reception we were informed that we could not use the breakfast. The all-inclusive concept would only start at 10:00 a.m. We were stunned and sent into the village, where we had a sandwich and a cup of coffee at a local bakery. We have stayed at quite a few all-inclusive hotels before, but this was the first time we were treated this way upon arrival. The receptionist’s only response was that this was the protocol.
The hotel is rather small-scale and looks very neat, the rooms are clean and well maintained. Due to its limited capacity, it does not feel hectic, which is also noticeable in the restaurant. The swimming pool is on the small side, so sunbeds are quickly taken. The hotel is located slightly off the main road, accessible via a small street. Behind the hotel there is a spacious parking area, which is very convenient for the rented car.
The staff in the restaurant are all very friendly, but the buffet selection is somewhat monotonous. However, there is a separate grill station, which is certainly a welcome addition. Drinks at the bar – cocktails/beer – are dispensed from a machine and in our opinion of very poor quality. Within the all-inclusive concept, a distinction is also made between the regular all-inclusive and the premium option, which meant that not all drinks on the menu were included without an additional charge.
We had a fantastic holiday here, but mainly because we explored the islands and the beautiful villages ourselves by car. Having your own transport is truly a must in order to discover what Chalkidiki has to offer. The all-inclusive experience, as we encountered it here, was disappointing compared to what we are used to from previous stays.

Overall the hotel was average. The rooms were nice but the food was poor. Its not a 4 star because a proper 4 star hotel has a level of professionalism that this hotel severely lacked.
Simple things like a hotel uniform , well presented workers would show to the customers that there is a high level of professionalism that gave you confidence in the quality of the hotel, cleanliness and food quality. Instead it looks unprofessional as you can hardly tell the workers and guests apart except for the guests are often better dressed. Following this forst impression, when you eat the food it confirms what you expected ie unprofessional = cheap poor quality food.
I wouldnt recommend it at the price they charge, however if they lowered there illusion of 4 star to 3 star where it should exist, and lowered the price accordingly then I would have given it a better review.

The hotel offered everything I could ask for: clean and spacious rooms, friendly staff, and a welcoming environment. It felt professional yet warm, and I would happily recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Hotel was very clean in a quiet location, we stayed in a family room 304 room was very small and in closed, our view from our balcony was a set of residential flats or apartments. Food was good at breakfast but evening meal not so good definitely not a 4 star service for food, Drinks were tasteless and watered down so we went out for food and drinks in the evenings. Polichrono itself I want not travel back to rammed beaches shoulder to shoulder and not catered for uk guests. Bit of advice go to the Greek islands instead. We will not be going back to Halkadiki

POSTIVES FIRST Nice simple hotel rooms are nice,very spacious and clean . With a lovely balcony, we had booked pool view, which we had and was pleased with. Was also lovely and quiet, and I couldn't hear anything from the bar area or pool once or doors were shut. Pool and surroundings are well kept and clean . The restaurant was nice and a great selection at breakfast time . Beautiful coffees, the pool snack bar was amazing, and he was the nicest staff member, which was very chatty and friendly. Bar area was relaxed with light music day and night with a good selection of drinks available. Most staff friendly . Close enough to beach restaurants and shops . NEGATIVES The shower room had no ridge or divider, so we found the bathroom would flood and get water logged when using the shower. Coffee machine in room no instruction so unable to use as could not work it. Lots of sunbeds and umbrellas, but the beds we found very uncomfortable with a bar sticking in you, they need to be upgraded or a small mattess on top . The private beach for the hotel was an extra charge which when you paid all inclusive I feel that's not right We found the selection of food in the main restaurant at lunch and dinner limited. The bar area needed more seating in evening unfortunately we went back to our room and sat on the balcony due to not having enough seating. Bar man was also not the most friendly guy. Plastic cups for drinks when all inclusive is not great I totally understand in the day around the pool for safety reasons in the evening I like a cocktail ,beer or wine in a glass and often was told that we couldn't.

We visited this hotel 12th-19th Sept. Positive of the stay Cleanliness of the room amazing Negative of the stay Sunbeds so uncomfortable Atmosphere in the bar area in the evening was awful to the extent of not wanting to stay Fully inclusive option poor. Alcoholic drinks very weak or watered down to the extent that it's impossible to tell that you have had a drink at all! Restaurant limited offer. Not in comparison to other 4 star Greek hotels Star rating is not of a 4 star standard at all. Definitely no more than a 3 star hotel!

This hotel will always be highly recommended due to its relatively short distance from the beach as well as the town centre. The rooms are in a good standard and the food in the restaurant is always very various. To add the professionalism and friendliness of the whole staff it accounts for an extremely great holiday experience. Hopefully till next time!

We spent a weeks stay here as a family four. We had a family suite,seperate bedroom and sofa bed in living room/kitchen. Room was spotless and cleaned everyday. Hotel was imaculate and staff were polite. Lovely and relaxing vibes all week bar the saturday night when the owner had a private party for their child and around 50 guests without prior knowledge. The owners live onsite with there children and are poolside allday everyday. The biggest complaint for us was the food, this was not 4star food. Very basic and repetative. The snack bar was the best part but is limited in hours. Also drinks are not self serve so you feel restricted. And coffee not availble at evening meal time.... Overall we enjoyed our relaxing week but would not return as all inclusive.

Better than expected! I seen the good reviews and some negatives, but it is immaculate - place is spotless and cleaned every day. Buildings and rooms faultless, felt like we were in 4 star hotel in England. Staff very friendly, manager and waiters greeted us each day. Food we loved, very tasty. Is repetitive for all-in but it’s only a small hotel and they do alternate meats/fish but typical continental breakfast. No complaints but kids can be fussy. Was quiet as we liked, music at bar not high and off at 11pm. No wild teenagers/party animals (cuz we’re boring now). Ideal location, 5mins walk to beach that has everything, plenty of shops/card machines but they take card in most places and bus stop to other beaches. Negative: they need to replace their sunbeds. People kept falling back, could have injured some older folks. Pool small but we knew that. Al a carte meal not exactly al a carte standard, food was nice but it was just a table near pool served from grill bar! Looking to return next year!

The hotel is all-inclusive, with modern, comfortable rooms that are cleaned every day. The entire staff is incredibly helpful, kind, and polite—from the receptionists and bartenders to the waiters and maids, everyone worked hard to make us feel special.
The restaurant was outstanding, offering a wide variety of delicious dishes. We enjoyed plenty of meat options (turkey, pork, lamb, veal, fish, and even rabbit stew!), along with fresh Greek specialties like salad, olives, feta, Greek yogurt, and seasonal fruits such as melon, pineapple, watermelon, pears, and more. Everything was fresh, tasty, and plentiful.
The pool may be small, but it is more than enough for the number of guests. The hotel also provides a shuttle to its private beach nearby, which made it easy and enjoyable to swim in the sea.
The team is international, professional, and truly amazing. We are grateful for such a memorable holiday.
