The hotel is right opposite the sea, the staff are really nice and friendly, the food is good. It's about 5 minutes to the shops. The only 'fly in the ointment' is the tourist tax, its an absolute rip off!!!!! We were told we could only pay on the last day and in cash ONLY not card, (smell a fiddle going on there). So we had to find another €77 at the end of the holiday.

everything was great, staff, location, food, the only thing I got bothered was lack of inet connection - either wifi (only at the reception, or pool bar) or mobile signal, which at the end its not the hotel fault, but beware... usually I got reconnected to Albanian network; also, there were tons of bees at the breakfast/lunch/dinner, sometimes we considered to finish our food at our room

We had a fantastic 2 weeks at the Helena Apartments. We stayed in Room 1 which had 2 large bedrooms, a modern bathroom and decent sized kitchen with modern oven, electric hob and fridge freezer. It also had a large balcony with a great view. The staff (Yannis, Vaso and Fondas) are really friendly and helpful. My wife advised me that Yannis' Aperol Spritz was the best she tasted during our stay.

Wonderful staff. Spotless clean rooms!! Such welcoming owners, made us feel at home!! Big garden areas to walk around and even a basketball court!! There was also a variety of bears, drinks and ice creams at the bar, right by the pool!! We will be visiting again 100%

If I could I’d give 10 stars. We have just spent 2 weeks at Helena with our family. Beautiful gardens, amazing pool, peaceful setting. We have been visiting Sidari since 1999 and these are the best apartments we have ever stayed in. Can definitely recommend. We can’t wait to return.

A lovely, small hotel run by a friendly family who went out of their way to accommodate. Breakfast was a good selection and topped up regularly. Just back from a short, last minute break at the Stemma. With daughter and son (5). Felt safe and would go again just the three of us. Lovely hotel, very close to beach and supermarkets. I had a lovely holiday here. The staff couldn't do enough for you and a shout out to our blonde cleaning lady who I give 5*. The only negative point is that you must walk downhill to reach the beach and restaurants. Also, the breakfast could have some fresh fruits. They saved our vacation. We were in an AirBnB and faced some horror story with insects and lack of water... called them and they got us a room very last minute, for same day, and even allowed us to use the Hotel prior to the check in time (including the pool). There are many restaurants around and the beach nearby may not be the very best but it is fun and offers water sports and nice views.

Good enough for the price. The air conditioning only worked in one room and sort of worked in the other, which resulted in some very hot nights with little sleep. Internet was intermittent at best. The beach views are incredible though.
