Perfect location, just walking distance (around 10 mins) from the ferry, beautiful beach, friendly staff, clean rooms although no hot water at times, reasonable prices at the restaurant.

Very close to great beach gagou, hotel is clean and has a great view but bathrooms are too old and need renovation. Shower curtain was dirty and there aren’t hair dryer and kettle in rooms. Breakfast would have been better.

Location is perfect, hotel is located in walking distance to vathy Center and Port as well. Gaggou Beach is in Front of the Hotel so No need to find and Travel to another Beach for swimming. Great hotel. Liked the sea view much. Huge balcony! Nice breakfast, great chef's work on the dinner. Beach is superb but lacks facilities, even dressing cabin is out of order. But overall it's a gorgeous place and I definitely recommend it if you're not too picky.

the rooms are quite basic, other than what you see on the booking websites, but all necessities are there. bathrooms are typical greek; small open showers means a very wet bathroom. staff is super friendly and ambiance is very nice. breakfast is good. location is great. a beach nearby with beds for 8 EUR. and restaurants, supermarket and bars within a 5 min walk with great scenery and not super touristy

My wife and I spent a week here while traveling around the island and the hospitality was amazing. A very kind and caring family greeted us and helped us explore the island throughout our time. We also had great conversations in the evening with the night staff. With a healthy breakfast every morning, and a pool perfect for cooling off, we have great memories.

The name Sunrise Hotel is an understatement! Seeing the sun rise over the mountains across the Aegean Sea around 630 am is an incredible site to see. The rooms are a bit small, however there is adequate closet space for your belongings and the rooms are very clean. One thing to note is the showers are a bit small and only feature a wand, but the hot water is plentiful. Would definitely recommend...

We booked the suite which was filly renovated this winter. The two bedroom suite is super cute and with the spacious rooftop you don’t want or need to leave your room. A nice hotel with a clean room. The location is good. My room was on the first floor with a view of the inner courtyard, which was good because the sun didn’t heat the room during the day. For this reason, I didn’t need air conditioning, which is available for an additional fee of about 10€ per day. Daily cleaning was also an extra charge. We've stayed 3 days at Virginia Hotel. The owner(s) and the staff was very helpful and concerned. We were a very big and special request full of visitors. We were really enjoyed staying at the hotel.

Staff is nice and friendly. We enjoyed their quick help for our car, accommodation and very friendly and nice attitude. However, hotel needs a bit of refurbishment, further cleaning, bit of cosy touch and these can easily be fulfilled. Besides, breakfast should be improved by more ingredients and better presentation. If you don’t expect anything from rooms and breakfast, it’s better than nothing...

It's an ok hotel. It's clean, and the service is good. Apparently they don't have double rooms so we ended up in two separate rooms, which was unexpected, but in our case it was fine. If we had small children I wouldn't want them in a separate room though. The breakfast is a bit lacking, but if you just pop next door you'll find a great place to eat breakfast.

Amazing views from the room. Rooms were clean though are certainly feeling a little tired, but for the price, can't complain. Will say, the beds are quite firm. Excellent service. Location is so calm and quiet at nice, made for a really peaceful stay.

I stayed at the hotel for two days. Its location is very very good, close to city center and a good beach. Our room was at the uppest floor with a great Island view. Disadvantages; rooms are so old, bath has bad condition, just one or two sockets are working. So crowdes at Breakfast time, you must be fast for finding an egg or cake.

Rooms are totally new and well decorated. Plus their views are stunning! It is close to Gagou beach which has a restaurant and it is >5 mins distance. It is run by a family, who are the most sympathetic and kind people in the whole island!

Providing great comfort with good service, large and clean rooms, rich selection of breakfast and amazing staff always smiling and very friendly. Location is a little far from center to walk 8-10 minutes but it's also acceptable as it makes the atmosphere is very peaceful and relaxing. Probably the best one on the island and definitely will be our next choose again.

The rooms, bar and pool are all revamped recently. It is super modern and really nice. The view of the room I stayed in was amazing. Staff is truly friendly and try to give the best hospitality.

From the welcoming of Mrs. Nancy who gave us excellent tips to visit the island, to the lovely accomodation, super clean & smelling good room, the nice views and the pool/bar area with a cosy feeling thanks to the smooth music, everything was superb. This hotel is lovely , you have an amazing pool which is 20m away from the beach , if u stay here I reccomend going with the company called Richmond as it asking provides food and a lovely community , they also tech you how to sail, windsurf and paddle board along with loads of other interesting activities , if I have children they provide support for them aswell

Fantastic pebble beach with beautiful clear waters and brilliant views of Turkey and beyond. Very close by several good bars where food and cool drinks run on tap.

We were there for 4 days. I must say that it was a very good experience overall. The rooms were very clean and the same for the bathrooms. Amazing view from the room. Reception was polite and kind. The bar area was also super nice. I must say that usually I don’t like staying by the pool for too long but the girls there were so nice and always with a smile and very accommodative. The nicest people ive met so far! The stay was great, room was clean, pool was amazing and the hotel was beautiful. You could take a bus to Pythagorion from the hotel and be picked up again. Next door was a supermarket and the beach is not far. The only thing I would have loved to see if there were more various options for vegetarians during meals :)

I was staying here with my girlfriend for 15 days and for the people who are in to a peacefull easy hotel, this is quite the place. It has a good bar where you can get the standard drinks: beer, wine, black coffee. The food is also fresh and has a wide range. Great place with service-minded staff and beautiful rooms. Quiet and peaceful close to the ocean. The only drawback is its location close to the airport, but that didn't bother us very much when we were here in mid-June.

Had a wonderful two weeks here. Rooms are basic but very clean and better than many other hotels in Greece. Beds are comfortable and the staff are really friendly and helpful. Good pool and close to the sea with beds available. Twenty minute walk to Pythagorion is fine for dinner. Kahvaltı gayet güzeldi, hergün değişik ve lezzetli ürünler vardı. Kahvaltı bana göre yeterli ve sağlıklıydı. Denize sıfır oluşu da çok sevindiriciydi. Odalar çok temizdi, her gün düzenli olarak temizleniyordu. Servis de oldukça başarılıydı.

I liked everything og our stay. The hotel is located very closely to pythagor center and it s just near the sea. The sea was great. There are sunbeds on the beach of the hotel. We loved the room. It was big enough for 2 people. It is a very clean hotel i liked that so much.. The owner, Sofia, is a lovely lady, cared of everything we asked.
