Hotels with sea view in Sitia

We asked to be moved to a sea view room and this was accommodated quickly by the lovely receptionists. A special shout out to Stephanos for a very effective neck/back massage at the spa😀

A five-star resort should have a restaurant with an a la carte menu (this may be provided in high season?)

Sitia Beach is probably the most picturesque hotel we have ever stayed at. All staff at the hotel are so friendly and helpful; plenty of selection at the restaurant; easy walk along seafront to the town

Great stay - lovely hotel and staff. Debbie was helpful in presenting treatments and Stefanos delivered a great massage. Clean rooms and pleasant atmosphere. Service always friendly and quick at the bars

Small but in the city so you can awans go for a walk. There is not bigos variety of the food but it is tasty. I can especially recomend terapist Popi. The only disadventage is lack of water in the room

In the hotel’s spa, I received a massage that truly relaxed me. Every movement was perfectly executed, and I could feel all my tension melting away. It was a genuine moment of well-being and serenity

We are foreigners coming for a wedding. As we were walking along the beach and stopped by their cafe to have a break. Even though we do not understand Greek, he spoke to us nicely

I stayed 2 weeks in Sitia and I went near to 5 times at the rooftop of this hotel because the place is so cool. The view on Sitia, the seats, the bar, the swimming pool and the staff are perfect

Very nice bar and excellent cocktails. Don't hesitate to go for a drink; you'll have a magnificent view of Sitia. We ate at the Thalassa restaurant just across the street, on the host's recommendation

It might not be the cheapest, but they are very friendly and when we would order the hearty kids breakfasts, they would bring extra sweets anyway 😊 When using the sunbeds at the beach, you are expected to order a drink

The location of the hotel is very convenient, right by the beach and walking distance to the city center. Rooms are clean and comfortable, though somewhat outdated and rather small for a family

Excellent! Super clean, we got a huge apartment type. Nice view from the window. Very nice toilets. More than we expected and enjoyed more than many other hotels including 4*.

There is a small playground for toddlers, but it closes at 8pm. Breakfast is available at extra cost

The pool area was clean, the pool was big enough, and the restaurant was good. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Not too far from Vai Beach, and Kouremenos Beach, where ther are a few good choices for restaurants

We stayed about 10 days, and we felt like part of the family. Poppy and George (owners of the hotel) can not be nicer. Beautiful views, the pool over looks the ocean. The rooms are large and very clean

Everything you expect from such a place. Food was actually way better than expected. Right on the beach (mind the steps if you have a room on the highest floors) and perfect for spending your days on the beach.

Artemis hotel is a somewhat tired 80's property with rooms that could use a renovation. Having said all the defaults, it is a family run property located literally on the superb beach of Malaria Gialos

Great beach and just up the road is a lady who sells homemade wine and great figs from a charming roadside stall. The Lybian sea is noticeably warmer that the Aegean sea on the north side of Crete.

We liked also is a freedom - you can stay at the sea side on free of charge sunbeds, you can swim at the swimming pool (with sea water) or simply you can seat at the outdoor restaurant and admire sea

Ionio Star is an exceptional place. Located not at the center but closed to it with proximity to the bakery, grocery shop and local bar, at the sea (you can swim if you are good swimmer)

Even though we experienced about 50 hours of constant strong wind, so typical of the southern part of Crete, we found time to rent a car and visit many pleasant and interesting places, including sandy beaches in the southeastern tip and the eastern coast of Crete

As an experienced traveler (here I also include business trips around the world), I greatly appreciated the atmosphere of the hotel and the approach of its staff

The evening program for children and adults was also imaginative and pleasant, thanks to the young French artists, accompanied by great dance routines and music

Programs and care for children, even very young ones, were, thanks to the lovely Czech animators, meticulous and enthusiastically accepted by the children

From the reception to the aforementioned bars or playgrounds, it was professional, attentive, friendly, and helpful

A car is needed as the grocery stores were a mile or so away but had everything we needed and there were plenty of restaurants within 5-10 mins drive. We would love to return next year as a week was not enough

Vila Istron is a fantastic place to stay, very well-equipped and comfortable. The only minor issue was that the air conditioner could be quieter. Overall, everything was excellent

We like getting there early before it gets busy and have a choice of the sun beds but it was perfect. The sea absolutely warm (I went in October for context)

cut through there, through the car park and down about 20 stairs. you're straight at the sandy beach. Sun beds are 15 Euros for 2 of them, and you can have them all day! But of course, you don't have to buy them

THE HOTEL on the website, clearly but some of these reviews they didn't check the website. It indicates what is free and. We booked the golden gate room for under £100 a night, nicest room in the hotel

so feel free to read this if it helps in anyway THE BEACH About 150 or so steps away, down hill from the hotel (and of course back up hill on the way back) is a very narrow but beautiful sandy beach

with private transfers luggage. Wifi is - 2 x devices cost you 25 Euros But they do other offers, like 10 nights. Which again, states on their website they only do house spirits and lager

It is definitely one of the most beautiful hotel in the entire world. The view is just amazing and the hotel is superb. The spa is great and you have and exceptional view of the sea from the restaurant

Incredible experience! This was an amazing property and the service, along with the amenities were great from start to finish! My husband and I went to Elounda on the third leg of our island hopping honeymoon and we most definitely saved the best for last! We were warmly greeted with drinks and snacks upon arrival as well as a bottle of champagne in our room (as well as the traditional honey and nuts

The staff there was so accommodating (especially our waiter, who is hospitality at the nearby university!) We also frequented the beach bar quite a bit and Andreas was awesome! The breakfast offerings on the property were also amazing… several traditional Cretan dishes

There is also a huge golf course and a lot of activities like jet ski and boat trip. All the staff are extremely kind and respond to any request immediately. I highly recommend and I hope to be back there soon!

We had a private pool and beach access which was WONDERFUL! The view of the sunrise was unforgettable! We also went to the spa and experienced the pool, saunas and steam room (A+ experience)

I see this as a consequence of the spacious setting in a pretty landscape. 50 minutes walk to Elounda town center, no bus connection. All staff is very friendly and helpful

The Good: - The private beach has crystal-clear water and because of the location being in a bay, despite wind, there are no waves at all, which is ideal for toddlers - The kids pool is perfect for toddlers - The kids club is very moden and offers great activities for little kids (toddlers can be dropped off for a charge) - Nice choice of good restaurants

The gap to the other restaurants is huge and many hotel guests tend to have dinners in the other restaurants, but obviously this becomes very costly (in three restaurants adults get deducted 24 EUR and kids 12 EUR, if they have the half-board option) - While having Golf & Spa Resort in the hotel name, the golf course is very mediocre

We stayed for 11 days, no problems at all. The apartments were very clean and conveniently located near a small market and two restaurants. You will be welcomed with fruits and a bottle of wine

Zeta brings complimentary homemade baked treats, fridge is stocked with wine,water and pop on arrival. Breakfast is available at extra cost. Villa was clean, modern and very comfortable, can't wait to visit again

We had a lovely stay, quiet and peaceful. The host Ilias was extremely welcoming and very helpful. Prepare for hills and farely steep to the villas but taxi service was brilliant unless you hire a car

Amazing holiday! We spent 10 Days here. It's a lovely place with 9 suites and 2 Villas. We had a suite which was perfect for our family of 3, the private terrace and pool are great and a decent size

Although further out the Taxis are very quick and there are so many delivery options from Euro Mart or Blend coffee amongst others that you can make life really easy if you use them

The rooms are lovely and simple but have what you need, beds, kitchenette, coffee machine, toaster, kettle etc. Bathroom was also decent size with everything you need

The location, while not offering the very best view of Mirabello Bay and Spinalonga Island – which lies further north – is still breathtaking and its most fascinating feature in my opinion is the secluded, elegant, cozy, reserved, and quiet atmosphere

And the service, from welcome, to servers to cleaning staff were courteous, helpful and friendly. Truly an amazing experience at every step and at every moment. And the facilities and grounds are impeccable

Rope railings and/or handrails may be advisable along a few pathways flanking the cliffs or the sea, which may even become slippery

She accommodated any requests with a genuine caring attitude. Hotel has several restaurant options if you don’t want to leave and explore the island. Highly recommend the Italian a Japanese restaurants

I can not say enough good things about this hotel. The hospitality was amazing! The staff was exceptional. Joanna was lovely, fun and friendly… she gave us the best advice on what to do

This was our final island on our trip so we were content to stay on the resort and not explore the island. If you want to see more of Crete, definitely rent a car bc the island is huge
