Where to stay in Sitia

We visited this place on a Saturday night and enjoyed the view and to observe the locals gathering to celebrate the weekend. Don't expect a vibrant night life, but enjoy a small town not yet spoilt by mass tourism.

Very clean beach and water. Calm water with small waves, very enjoyable. A little bit small and near the street and buildings, so don't expect a lot of privacy.

Calm, not crowded, clean blue water and nice service at the beach. Excellent spot for family holidays

A sheltered sandy beach with a range of bars and cafes, clean sand and water, showers (cold and in the open) and adequate toilets. I enjoyed it here.

We are foreigners coming for a wedding. As we were walking along the beach and stopped by their cafe to have a break. The server was very polite. Even though we do not understand Greek, he spoke to us nicely. As we had a baby with us, the waiter provided hot water for us and even complimentary cakes. Amazing service at such a beautiful place. Recommended.

Rooms are very outdated, Need some new bed covers, etc. Because of the central location night time is VERY loud ! No parking space at all.. In the same street almost impossible to find a spot daytime ( may be early morning)

A nice place located ideally on the Sitia port with sea view and totally downtown. Friendly staff, cocid conscious and clean place with good breakfast and the required amenities. The downside is that it needs to be modernized as it has all the prerequisites to be transferred in the modern age.

Wonderful hospitality!!!!! The location is at the centre of the sitias city very close to the port which is has all the options for entertainment ( restaurants -cafe bars).

Value for money. Problems with the water pressure (I thing it's a general problem at Sitia) were solved from the very polite and helpful owners. Not very comfortable parking. Pet friendly!

Nice hotel with a good location near to everything and the staff was very nice and always helpful with a smile. My room had comfortable bed and was clean, when I come back next time I will stay here.

Great hotel with helpful and friendly staff. We had top floor superior room. Great terrace off room. Good shower too. Kettle and fridge were very welcome. Marvellous views from terrace. Provided breakfast was more than enough with good variety. Great price value.

Three years I come every summer, and by all means the Sea Breeze has the best quality-price ratio. The rooms are big, clean and well equipped, the pool is extremely enjoyable and the owner is very nice and available for all requests. Highly recommended.

I was really satisfied with this hotel. The room was cozy, with everything you need and with beautiful view to the sea. There was a swimming pool too. And the receptionist was a nice guy. :)

Great as a base to explore this lovely corner of Crete, not so much much as a destination in its own right. Rooms are good. We were early season so can't comment on breakfast as that hadn't started yet (and nearby Sitia has fantastic breakfasts!!) Beach accross the road is safe for children, but difficult to swim in for adults beyond the safe pool on account of the shelving rocks. But again fantastic...

We had a wonderful stay in petras beach. It is nothing fancy but the owners are very kind and we’re always working to make our stay as good as possible. They had some good recommendations for restaurants, beaches etc. the rooms were clean. You can’t expect much more for such a small price:)

Great place! Owner is heartwarming easygoing polite and attentive. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Location and accesibility is perfect you are basically at the beach. Its calm and relaxing not overcrowded. Surrounding restaurants are decent so you dont have to wonder around and scavange for food and drinks.Prices are good on the low side.

Okish hotel in really good location, next to the town, the harbor and the beach. Free parking accessible from the side street.

A Lovely Hotel run by friendly helpful staff . Surpassed our expectations, super clean comfortable rooms with sea views on a quiet road . Only 4 minutes walking away from the main eating and drinking venues.

The location of the hotel is very convenient, right by the beach and walking distance to the city center. Rooms are clean and comfortable, though somewhat outdated and rather small for a family. There is a small playground for toddlers, but it closes at 8pm. Breakfast is available at extra cost. It might not be the cheapest, but they are very friendly and when we would order the hearty kids breakfasts...

Need a place to sleep 1 night and take a shower? Well, look no further. This hotel is about 5 minute walk from the port. Be aware, the lovely ladies working the front desk only speak Greek so have your Google translate available.

These super clean villas are located 5 minutes walking distance from the restaurants and bars of the wonderful city of Sitia and 1 minute distance from a wonderful public beach, offering the option of a private swimming pool at the same time. Perfect place for holidays with family or friends. We are repeaters because the first experience last year was amazing. Basically we like everything: the accommodation, the owners, Sitia's area, the weather, watersport, treck, food... what else... ?
