My wife and I spent three nights here. Anna and her husband were excellent hosts and were a font of information. Their breakfast was superb. A very pretty location. The drive to Ermoppoli is 20 minutes by bus or taxi. During the off peak season, there isn't much in the way of open restaurants.

Highly recommend this hotel. The rooms are lovely and spacious and have wonderful views of the Agean sea. The bathroom is quite large too. The host is very generous, kind and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. The hotel is within walking distance of amazing restaurants and iconic parts of the city. You will not be disappointed.

Location was great, downtown and easy to access. Soundproofing was good too, something important, since it’s right on the road. This is my favourite budget hotel in my favourite cycladic island. The hotel stands in a quite side street above the harbor area, in the very center of Ermoupolis. From there you can explore easily the city, all the shops are around. The Aegli is a small, family run place, so don't expect luxury. The rooms are a bit on the small side, but the view.... wow. Be sure to ask for a room on the upper floor...

Excellent service, the staff are amongst the friendliest hosts I ever know and this is the reason I write this review. I was on a business trip, meaning it's not my choice to stay here yet the staff offered their best service possible. Rooms clean and all in order.

This hotel is conveniently located in down town Syros main port next to lots of shops and tavernas. It is very clean, they offer a good breakfast and they have a very nice court yard for chilling and having your breakfast. Teas only priced and friendly service

A 5-Star 2-Star hotel! Family run and smack in the center of town but away from the noise at the same time. A short stroll from the many restaurants, tavernas, and shops that make Ermopoli one of my favorite authentic Greek towns.

Excellent service, conveniently located, quiet, clean, highly recommended overall. The manager was super polite and helpful, and even offered a very late checkout. However, if you have mobility issues, keep in mind you'll have to scale a steep staircase - the price to pay for the beautifully high ceilings.

We were not able to stay in this beautiful hotel because of a a/c issue. Chris was more then helpful and gave us a choice and let us see the room. He even coordinated our transfer to a hotel nearby. But, the rooms are beautiful, the location is awesome and Chris was more than accommodating in his help and knowledge of the area. We will be back and we will contact him again!

It's the second time we visit this hotel in Syros and once again we felt like home! All the rooms are superb, super clean and curated with love from Christos and Tonia. The location is excellent if you want to visit the local bars, museums or restaurants. Highly recommended and we will visit again!

If you are looking somewhere to stay in Ermoupolis that is near the center but also very quiet when you need it, then look no further! It was an absolute joy to stay at the hotel, the room was a dream and I would highly recommend the breakfast that the host brings you to your room when you wake up. A very lovely place, with fair prices and a friendly and kind host. She made sure we had everything we needed and that we’re comfortable. The accommodation is located in a nice rural area, near a beautiful beach. Our rooms had wifi, ac, kitchen stuff, a handy electrical stove and a kettle. There are a few restaurants in the area + a mini market.

Stayed there a couple of years ago, I honestly cannot express how lovely, hospitable and friendly Mrs. Angela is, always available to chat with guests. A true example of Greek hospitality. The rooms are tasteful, spacious, clean and tidy, with plenty of windows to let in the Greek sun. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a modest place to stay in near the beach of Galissas.

The Hotel is a haven literally 50 metres from the beach with great facilities - lovely pool and sitting areas. Breakfast was exceptional - lots of choices and not only great food but lots of it. The staff are delightful and do everything to make your stay enjoyable and are incredibly accommodating - we had a 4.00PM ferry and were allowed to keep our room until 1.00PM which was really helpful.

We accidentally got off the wrong ferry port in Syros and there were no more ferries that day to Mykonos. We quickly looked up on our phone hotels and came across Hotel Benois. Outstanding hotel, with very nice and professional staff ; nonetheless, the housekeepers are very noisy, and it is difficult to take a nap in the afternoon. An effort must be made on this level. The swimming pool is perfect and well maintained. Nice place and location for holidays.

Nice hotel, reminds me of the 90’s, very old in a quiet place near the beach, about 20 minutes from the island center, they clean it every day, everything is working but too old, simple and but necessary amenities, breakfast is too small😥, too little options, not even a simple omelette. Dolphin bay was an amazing stay. I was here for a week with a group, they were incredibly accommodating and super helpful. We were supposed to leave but our Ferris was delayed a day and they accommodated us getting new rooms. The rooms were very clean, the beach is really close and the pool is huge! Highly recommend!

The hotel is divided into new and older rooms. The older rooms have a tired feel, with blankets smelling of cigarette smoke (in fact, that smell will haunt you for several hours). We stayed for 2 nights at the Brazzera hotel in Syros. It was lovely. Rooms were very tastefully decorated and maintained that lovely Greek charm. The hotel is right on the sea front. What a lovely traditional hotel with only 14 rooms… the whole hotel is very well maintained. Great position right on the beach and they will provide sunbeds and beach towels. The rooms are spacious and clean. Everything about Akrogiali is basically super fabulous, I am looking forward to coming back next time.
