The Gardens Gallery Hotel in Xylokastro

What was listed in the booking.com and what we found was completely different story. The size of the room was even not close to the listed size of at least 18m. Unfortunately, we realized this only the next day as we were very tired in the evening of arrival, and it was late. Next day, when we measured the room size (thanks to the smartphone app), we found it close to 12m for the room and around 2.5m for the bathroom. When we report this to the stuff, they told us that they can't contact the manager and just took note of this. Also, they told us, if mentioned on arrival, they could replace the room for us. This is fine, but my question is why they even offer rooms that are much smaller than the listed room size on booking.com? This is unfair and should be fixed.

We visited this hotel having in mind our first experience. Unfortunately, people makes businesses and as Vasiliki doesn’t work there anymore, NOTHING is the same. They gave us a different room from the one we paid for. The toilet seat was on the shower frame, so our body had to be attached to it. Except Efi, who is responsible for our breakfast and most polite, kind and professional person, the rest just exist, especially the young guy, who I don’t know his name and I don’t want to know him. Not approachable at all to the point to become antipathetic. Sotiria tries her best but probably they do not allow her to do her job. Atmosphere so heavy as no one can replace Vassiliki. Otherwise her attitude and behaviour made us to visit again this hotel. Disappointed with the room, but mostly with their attitude as they proposed to give us a room on the second floor which we had to leave for one night and go in another room. I regretted because I chose this hotel but I thought Vassiliki was working still there. I had to find another hotel and pay extra money.
