Olympic Hotel

We stayed here for one night as a couple after a flight from Asia. Wanted to charge extra 25 euros for early check in so we gave that a miss. The hotel entrance is obscured with frosted glass. The staff were not very friendly and couldn’t find our booking.
The room was small but made large by having a complete mirror wall opposite the bed. The bathroom is tiny and re shower head has no rest so you need to hold it. The water runs out of the shower tray across the floor in front of the toilet. Not impressed then when the evening came I turned the light on and it was all red lights around bed and ceiling🤔. Power socket hanging out of the walll. It is a long walk to the town centre. Could be a or better.

The location is very convenient and overall the room was clean however there was an overwhelming and unpleasant smell of cigarettes in the room which made the stay unbearable. We checked out earlier due to this and had a very poor night sleep.

The rooms are comfortable; however, there are not many power sockets available, which may be inconvenient for guests and they need to request an extra sockets from the reception.

The view from the double room was pleasant, but the bathroom facilities were not satisfactory. The toilet flush was not working properly, which made it quite inconvenient, especially for longer stays. I hope this issue will be resolved soon.
