4 star hotels in Split

A couple minor personal preferences that I would have liked nothing major otherwise a lovely hotel. Great breakfast spread!

Fantastic hotel. Staff were very friendly throughout the stay. The room was immaculate and the views out of the windows across the water were almost unbelievable. If I wanted to explore split it was a short walk away, but was also far away enough that it was great to just relax by the pool and enjoy the silence.

I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel Cvita having chosen one of the more affordable options in split. The hotel is immaculate, the rooms are big and the aircon is very effective. Only issue we had was with the shower, the seal on the shower screen must be broken as we had a pool of water on the floor everytime, and the pipe from the bath taps to the shower head is too short, so you either have...

Great place to stay in Spilt. Our apartment was very nice and the location in the old town section could not be better. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. My wife, two adult daughters and I would recommend staying here without question.

Very clean hotel, staff is very friendly. Rooftop pool/jacuzzi is really nice. If you have the time make use of the Wellness facilities and the massage. It was one of the best I’ve ever had. Definitely going back to this hotel in the future.

One week in this hotel was awesome. The pool on the top of the hotel was amazing. Breakfast buffet was very tasty but order and pay for a good coffee. The ladies on the reception was helpful but some don't give some right information where to go or how long to go. But was fine we help yourself. Public transportation are not on time! 15min walk to the city centre.

Outdated rooms and facilities. Not at a 4 star standard. Reception service was really good. Breakfast in a dark room with only 1 window, otherwise fine.

This hotel is just perfect for a relaxing stay. It is located in front of the sea and beaches in this area are beautiful. The swimming pools and spa with panoramic view to the sea are unique. Absolutely amazing. Went here with my wife for our honeymoon in the beginning of September. The staff were great and the hotel was a great value, from the view to the amenities. The gym was state of the art equipment too We had a lot of fun, and the sauna/spa service was a great value. Looking forward to our next visit here!

Rooms are spacious, modern and very clean. Great balcony size, quiet for bedtime, and overall very low noise level. The breakfast was amazing! I wish we had half board so we could’ve experienced dinner as well. Their spa facility is great too.

This hotel was good, but it’s new - you’ll see on Google earth that there is no hotel in the picture! So they did have some teething problems as this summer was their first proper summer since covid. My small but annoying bug bear was that there were always big queues for the coffee in the morning - I spoke to the manager and he was very nice, but clearly they were not prepared for 400 people coming...

The staff is an amazing asset to the hotel. Some of the best service I had in this world. Especially Ivana from reception who goes above and beyond for her guests. I’ve never met a friendlier person who was so engaged into the guests well being and satisfaction. Breakfast was also very taste and the selection is abundant without compromising quality. Definitely will come back here again.

Fantastic holiday rental,incredibly convenient location and Roko our host is super organized,informative and friendly.The balcony has amazing views and the apartment is tastefully furnished with all mod cons(Apple TV,Netflix etc)We unfortunately,could,only stay for one night,next time we will definitely linger longer

Wonderful, fairly large suite: we entertained 12 people easily. Window wall opens up to excellent views. Nice kitchen. Roco also helped arrange a private walking tour for a small group and cars to and from the airport.

I visited restaurant for breakfast here. Really fast and delicious. Only one waiter outside but he was speedy. Soft paste croissants, delicious eggs Benedict. Really like this place

Breakfast is amazing, as well as the rooms. The fitness center is high quality. 1,5 km to go to the old city, which is very easy by walk. The only weakness is that the hotel is on a large street, therefore it is a little bit noisy

Loved the place. New, modern interior, pleasant and professional stuff. Served food in the restaurant was excellent. On recommendation we tried Croatian aromatic wine BOMARY DEGRARRA  which I highly recommend.

Great location in the centre of the castle grounds! Clean and good size room with a great bathroom and shower. The staff were so helpful with fresh towels and suggestions on where to go.

Honeymoon level of interior decor. Beautifully presented historic harbour apartment 50m from romantic restaurants, bars etc. Hard to beat. Will return.

Rooms were actually very nice unlike what I expected frankly, the staff (Ana) was very friendly and helpful. The location is awesome. It's a BnB, don't expect a hotel.

There aren’t enough stars for the service we received. American hotels can learn lots of lessons from their staff. It is in a great location to the different gates, sites, restaurants and shops. It is in a quiet area; the 2 restaurants in the little plaza below are not noisy…plus the windows are thick and reduce noise significantly. A lovely boutique hotel, with only 7 bedrooms. Really nicely decorated, very clean, and so well situated, in the middle of the old town. You can walk to any parts of the old palace within a minute. If you call them, Nicholas will come and pick you up at the dock if you are arriving on a boat, to help you with your luggage. The BEST PLACE TO STAY IN SPLIT, we enjoyed our only 2 days but we love every second of it! Súper Clean!!! Clean and fresh beds, pillows, towels! Really great location in the heart of Split, just steps from all the attractions. I loved the quirky decor, which fuses modern design with the building’s original features. The spa terrace looks lovely and I wish I’d arranged a massage in advance! You can also book the rooftop jacuzzi, which has beautiful views of the city. The library/ lounge area is a treat, too, if you feel like relaxing and escaping...

I did not stay in the hotel but I have been for a coffee a few times in the downstairs area. It's nice, clean and comfy and, importantly for when it's hot outside, has air conditioning. The one thing I thought was a little weird is the set of busts for people who have shaped the world, which includes dictators Pol Pot and Josef Stalin alongside Gandhi and Mother Theresa. Split is a beautiful city. This hotel is a great site to tour the historic Palace. The staff is very professional and caring. The rooms are very modern, the breakfast though limited by the size of the hotel was very fresh and well prepared.

My partner and I loved our stay at Villa Split Heritage Hotel! Our hosts were so accommodating, kind, and thoughtful. They also provided several recommendations and advice on how to get around Split. We were able to easily check-in easily and they helped us with our baggage up the stairs as there is no elevator due to city rules and preserving the architecture. Excellent hotel in the center of everything - we have stayed in both of their locations and enjoyed our time immensely. Every part of the service was impeccable (front desk, porters, the car to and from the airport, etc) and the breakfast just what we needed to get our day started.

Excellent and very personalised breakfast and everything cooked and prepared freshly. Great attention to detail throughout our stay. Although the hotel is in a pedestrianised area, travelling with a car was not a problem. The hotel has everything organised to arrange this smoothly and efficiently.

We came on the 1st of august to the 4th. Service on the reseption was great, location, the view was good and breakfast was fast and good too. BUT, very dirty for this reason I'm giving 3 stars. Hygiene is very important. We stayed in room 10, bath was dirty with hair in it. Also, I found dirty wet towel in one of the cabinets when I opened it, was smelling horrible as it was there for a few days probably...

Good hotel. Met our expectations. The rooms are spacious, the beds are soft, the breakfasts are plentiful. Not far from the old town. However, the place is not for a beach holiday. A narrow, inconvenient coastal strip within the city. A lot of people. In the off-season, taking a walk, wandering through the narrow streets of the old city, sitting in a kafan is a dream!

A little outside the old town, which was not a disadvantage at all. A walk on the sea makes time fly by. Soon you will be able to reach very beautiful beaches. We enjoyed the rich breakfast and the beautifully furnished room. There are also good restaurants nearby.

Very warm welcome on arrival. The garden suite is tip top. I will be back for the spa suite penthouse.
