Great hotel in the centre of Split, 5 minutes walk from the main "riva". Extremely clean room, helpful staff, amazing brerakfast... The view from the bar on the top of the hotel is amazing. Keep up the good work!

Room is very clean and tidy. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Everyone speaks English, which was helpful for the tourists. Breakfast was amazing. View from rooftop was to die for. 2 minutes by foot to the old town stores and restaurants and cafés, 5 minutes by foot to the seaside boulevard. Hotel offers parking space and their staff helps you move around the car. Superb experience in Split!

Exceptional service, location and food. The staff is so kind. The most beautiful view of the city from the roof. Comfortable rooms. And what is most important for me, they are dog friendly! Best hotel in the city for sure. The have absolutely everything, the view, nice food, great service, spa, spacious rooms, all. They area bit expensive but you'll not regret a single dime.

Fantastic hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was fabulous, but we were less than keen on the buffet dinner. Hotel is a little isolated so its a bit of a walk to restaurants in the off season.

Lovely place for breakfast buffet and views. Maybe the best in Split. The spa is spectacular.... DEFINITELY the best in Split. Possibly in all of Croatia. And this from a spa fan. Even if only to spend a day lounging with a day pass. I have yet to experience their spa treatments but will re-review once I do.

Nice and friendly staff. Upgraded us which was nice. Rooms are very good at least the one we had. Breakfast is good. Dinner OK not spectacular. Nice beach bar though. We enjoyed it but notice it is more a conference hotel than vacation hotel. Nothing bad with that just so you know when you book.

Nice location 15-20minutes away from Split old town (up a few hills) and close to 2 of the nicest beaches in town, along with the national park above it. Fantastic hotel. Staff were very friendly throughout the stay. The room was immaculate and the views out of the windows across the water were almost unbelievable. If I wanted to explore split it was a short walk away, but was also far away enough that it was great to just relax by the pool and enjoy the silence.

The staff at Villa Scalaria (Julija, specifically) are wonderful. They are helpful in helping find activities and the parking spot, ensure you're checked in well, and are generally upbeat and friendly. The rooms are great and the hotel is in a great location to food (like Fife) and activities. One of the thing I loved in the room was the shower; it was spacious and had great water pressure.

I had a wonderful stay at Villa Scalaria. The staff is super welcoming and friendly! :) The hotel is located in the centre, merely 2 mins from the Diocletian Palace. The rooms are very spacious and clean. Also, one of the few accommodations that offer a car parking, as finding a parking space in Split is a real struggle. It is a very nice place, the view is fantastic for the 3 person room we have booked, and the staff there are very friendly, but bear in mind that the door there needs to be pushed with a bit more force.

Absolutely amazing. Went here with my wife for our honeymoon in the beginning of September. The staff were great and the hotel was a great value, from the view to the amenities. The gym was state of the art equipment too We had a lot of fun, and the sauna/spa service was a great value. Looking forward to our next visit here!

Rooms are spacious, modern and very clean. Great balcony size, quiet for bedtime, and overall very low noise level. The breakfast was amazing! I wish we had half board so we could’ve experienced dinner as well. Their spa facility is great too.

This hotel was good, but it’s new - you’ll see on Google earth that there is no hotel in the picture! So they did have some teething problems as this summer was their first proper summer since covid. My small but annoying bug bear was that there were always big queues for the coffee in the morning - I spoke to the manager and he was very nice, but clearly they were not prepared for 400 people coming...

The staff is an amazing asset to the hotel. Some of the best service I had in this world. Especially Ivana from reception who goes above and beyond for her guests. I’ve never met a friendlier person who was so engaged into the guests well being and satisfaction. Breakfast was also very taste and the selection is abundant without compromising quality. Lovely place at the fantastic location with the most friendly staff. Nicely appointed rooms with beautiful views, large bathrooms, comfortable bed and fluffy bathrobes. Very welcoming staff at the front desk, restaurant and spa. My only complaint was the food and wine at the hotel’s restaurant, as I found it well below the quality of Split’s better food establishments, but this might be due to Covid...

I would like to write a separate review about the Di Spa salon. Every visit there is a great pleasure. The highest quality manicure and pedicure with perfect technique and coverage that I have received in Split over the past six months. Service at the highest level, pleasant atmosphere, sterile clean. Excellent people and excellent hotel. Very clean, amazing amenities, and they were very accommodating. We showed up before our check-in and they were nice enough to let us use the rooftop pool. Breakfast was also delicious - especially the melons!

The hotel premises are great - fantastic infinity rooftop pool, lovely decor, good beds and nice and modern rooms. Breakfast was not fantastic and it was good. The only downside is really the location, a bit too far from the main attractions and most restaurants. If you are OK with walking, it can be a good choice.

Great location. There is a parking open space area in front of the cinema/joker shopping center. We paid 6 euro for 25hours parking, don’t get fooled by “tourist parking” it’s more expensive. The service was great. In room dining was not delicious and the breakfast buffet was tiny. The service was great.

It might be a 5 stars hotel in Croatia, but where I’m from this is a 4 stars hotel, sorry. Our room was nice, clean and comfortable enough, but our view was not so pretty. Hotel is an easy 15 minutes walk to the Riva which is great. Our breakfast buffet was acceptable.

Rooms are nice, could use some rainfall showers. The spa area is peaceful and relaxing. Short 10-15 min walk down the main road to old Split. Mall & Casino around the hotel. Restaurant in the hotel is great if you don't decide to walk to split. Staff is very approachable and willingness to share what to do around Split.

A lovely hotel with huge rooms and cute little Spa area. The down side is that unfortunately it's not as close to the old town and Palace as other hotels and the walk there though relatively short is not entirely Pleasant being along a busy road.

Great location with a view of the water. Wellness spa was booked up during the stay. Recommend possibly booking the spa ahead of time. However, there are other spas in the city as well. Try the banana split from room service. It was amazing.

We booked the hotel based on provided pictures and good ratings online. The Hotel was solid but in our opinion there was a gap in pricing and the actual delivery. The wellness area is great with sauna, steam bath and pool, also the rooms are solid but nothing special even for the superior rooms. Really pleasant stay at this hotel, great facilities, modern spacious rooms and very friendly staff. A little bit further out from the old town, but we enjoyed the walk and getting a taxi was very affordable. Would definitely stay here again if we came back to Split.

Very nice place, and very friendly owner. The price is well worth it. She was always kind and helpful. Other than most places in Croatia, they even accept cards. The only downside we could see, and that's us being really picky, but in some areas the WiFi was a little patchy. But on holiday that shouldn't matter anyway.

We arrived on the ferry from Italy and were allowed to check-in before 8am which helped a lot. The lady that dealt with us was incredibly helpful and friendly. One week in this hotel was awesome. The pool on the top of the hotel was amazing. Breakfast buffet was very tasty but order and pay for a good coffee. The ladies on the reception was helpful but some don't give some right information where to go or how long to go. But was fine we help yourself. Beautiful hotel, staff really kind and helpful, we have both sea and mountain views! Room is beyond what we expected, has free breakfast buffet the hotel has so much you could never be bored. It's got a pool, jacuzzi, sauna, bars, library, snooker table, poker table restaurant and probably more aha! Oh and free WiFi!
