Hotels on first line in Split

The gentleman on reception at night time (I didn’t get his name unfortunately) was so lovely, we always got a very friendly welcome upon returning at night and was also great with local recommendations for best beaches in the area

2 minutes by foot to the old town stores and restaurants and cafés, 5 minutes by foot to the seaside boulevard. Hotel offers parking space and their staff helps you move around the car

Great hotel in the centre of Split, 5 minutes walk from the main "riva". Extremely clean room, helpful staff, amazing brerakfast... The view from the bar on the top of the hotel is amazing. Keep up the good work!

Fantastic hotel! We stayed here for 4 nights and loved every second of it! The staff are amazing, Ana on reception was so helpful and friendly. She really went out of her way to make sure our stay was great

The breakfast was amazing!! The staff are so attentive and the variety was great. The spa is lovely, really nice facilities. I would 100% stay here again, highly recommended. Thank you for a wonderful stay

The rest of the staff is extremely friendly and deserves great recognition as well, but he genuinely went above and beyond to make sure our stay was as great as it was

Only issue we had was with the shower, the seal on the shower screen must be broken as we had a pool of water on the floor everytime, and the pipe from the bath taps to the shower head is too short, so you either have to duck for a shower or if you raise it you lose water pressure

If I wanted to explore split it was a short walk away, but was also far away enough that it was great to just relax by the pool and enjoy the silence

Location is good, roughly 5 minutes in an Uber to the centre and the pool area is beautiful, we loved this area

I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel Cvita having chosen one of the more affordable options in split. The hotel is immaculate, the rooms are big and the aircon is very effective

Staff were very friendly throughout the stay. The room was immaculate and the views out of the windows across the water were almost unbelievable

A couple minor personal preferences that I would have liked nothing major otherwise a lovely hotel. Great breakfast spread!

This hotel is just perfect for a relaxing stay. It is located in front of the sea and beaches in this area are beautiful. The swimming pools and spa with panoramic view to the sea are unique

The one thing our teenage kids loved (and me!) was there was an inflatable water park by the beach! Also please note that there are 2 buildings in this hotel and if you are in the smaller part like we were, you do a lot more walking/stairs/lifts! But you do get the pool on your roof! Breakfasts were really good apart from the coffee queue - lots of variety from the healthy to the more heart attack...

The facilities however overall were very good - one pool on the roof, and two others - one inside and one outside

Rooms are spacious, modern and very clean. Great balcony size, quiet for bedtime, and overall very low noise level. The breakfast was amazing! I wish we had half board so we could’ve experienced dinner as well

I’ve never met a friendlier person who was so engaged into the guests well being and satisfaction. Breakfast was also very taste and the selection is abundant without compromising quality

I attended a three days meeting (more than 100 persons) in Amphora and I can tell it is one of the best organization I have ever seen. Excellent service for lunches and coffee breaks

Wonderful, fairly large suite: we entertained 12 people easily. Window wall opens up to excellent views. Nice kitchen. Roco also helped arrange a private walking tour for a small group and cars to and from the airport.

The balcony has amazing views and the apartment is tastefully furnished with all mod cons(Apple TV,Netflix etc)We unfortunately,could,only stay for one night,next time we will definitely linger longer

Rooms were actually very nice unlike what I expected frankly, the staff (Ana) was very friendly and helpful. The location is awesome. It's a BnB, don't expect a hotel.

Honeymoon level of interior decor. Beautifully presented historic harbour apartment 50m from romantic restaurants, bars etc. Hard to beat. Will return.

The room was big enough with clean and comfortable bath. The staff were really helpful and cooperative when we forgot something in the safe to send it to Zagreb. The location of the hotel can't get any better.

The library/ lounge area is a treat, too, if you feel like relaxing and escaping the bustle of the city. Or just sit in the cafe, listen to live piano music, and watch the world go by

Excellent location. The room was very modern and also had a wonderful bathroom. The room was always clean. The hotel restaurant was romantic and lovely. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Really great location in the heart of Split, just steps from all the attractions. I loved the quirky decor, which fuses modern design with the building’s original features

The spa terrace looks lovely and I wish I’d arranged a massage in advance! You can also book the rooftop jacuzzi, which has beautiful views of the city

Despite the disappointing dinner, I highly recommend hotel Park in Split. It really is a very pretty place with pleasant and welcoming staff, and unbeatable location

The food is really amazing! The staff was catering to everything; the server actually de-boned the seabass i ordered for me, which I've never seen that before

Though we stayed only for lunch, we had a short chat with her about some local vines and she have quite good knowledge. Service was upstanding to the location and the view, hope the rest of our trip will be the same

Like most places at the riva not worth it

Delicious, convenient, view of the mountains and the sea.

Best hotel in the city for sure. The have absolutely everything, the view, nice food, great service, spa, spacious rooms, all. They area bit expensive but you'll not regret a single dime.

The hotel was also connected to a beach which has outdoor dining and lots of seating. Parking is available for those who are coming in their own car, however, daily parking charge is kind of high, at €15 per day

The spa had two sections, one for everyone which included two jacuzzis and a swimming pool, and another for adults only which included two saunas, a stream room, a small warm pool, a small cold plunge pool and a relaxation area where you can lay down and just relax while listening to relaxing music in the background

Fantastic hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was fabulous, but we were less than keen on the buffet dinner. Hotel is a little isolated so its a bit of a walk to restaurants in the off season.

The staff were very friendly and really helped me out on several occasions. They have a mini bar fridge in the room and my room had a balcony opening or onto the sea view

It was my wife’s birthday and when we got into our room, they had left her a cake! Very pleasant place, with excellent staff who go out of their way to make you feel welcome and pampered

There's a small supermarket nearby if you need to bit essentials or anything else. I would recommend and definitely visit again

Also, one of the few accommodations that offer a car parking, as finding a parking space in Split is a real struggle. Overall I was super satisfied with my stay at Villa Scalaria and would come back anytime again!

I had a wonderful stay at Villa Scalaria. The staff is super welcoming and friendly! :) The hotel is located in the centre, merely 2 mins from the Diocletian Palace. The rooms are very spacious and clean

The staff at Villa Scalaria (Julija, specifically) are wonderful. They are helpful in helping find activities and the parking spot, ensure you're checked in well, and are generally upbeat and friendly

The rooms are great and the hotel is in a great location to food (like Fife) and activities. One of the thing I loved in the room was the shower; it was spacious and had great water pressure

It is a very nice place, the view is fantastic for the 3 person room we have booked, and the staff there are very friendly, but bear in mind that the door there needs to be pushed with a bit more force.

Great location, has own parking available on site, and just minutes from the Palace and Riva. Bars and restaurants in same street, but the room remains quiet. Modern, comfy accommodation with friendly manager.

Cosy and beautiful. We enjoyed it a lot- it's been lovely, very clean and the suite is just a walking distance from the marine. A great place to stay in Split!

Really nice family owned hotel placed right by the beach! (you can hear the waves rolling in from the room) Really great service alround - always a smile and extremely helpfull. Has a really nice pool and pool area

When the sight seeing was on hold, the only question after the good breakfast was, do we start at the pool or the beach

Modern rooms with comfortable furnitures, really helpful hosts, and great location. Short walking distance to the beach, bus and ferry terminals, and the old town (Diocletian's Palace)

The building is located on a busy street with a lot of traffic, but (from our room at least) it was really quiet and comfortable. Far less noise than I suspected at first

Moreover it has really beautiful and clean inside and outside pool, the jacuzzi and two saunas. Further, the food is very delicious with reasonable prices

Their menu has many healthy food options and all of them look tasty, I especially love their desserts. Finally, I have also tried several massages which I would also recommend. They are really relaxing and beautiful :)

The Marvie is fabulous! The staff is great! Irena and the rest of the staff made sure we had everything we needed. We just stayed there for a week, in a balcony room with a lovely view of the water

Really pleasant stay at this hotel, great facilities, modern spacious rooms and very friendly staff. A little bit further out from the old town, but we enjoyed the walk and getting a taxi was very affordable

I recommend the "Pilots"! And the food at the on site restaurant was five star! We were within walking distance of anything we needed, as well as the water and Diocletian's Palace
