Hotel Marina Port

This hotel is surprisingly super great both for adults and kids. The staff is extremely friendly, food is excellent, and the venue at the beach has also an amazing atmosphere and view. I couldn’t find anything negative. The playhouse, the sauna, the inside pool, the trampolin park, the playground, the menu selection, the game room all 5*. A huge thank you!

I only advise you to come if you have children.

Upon arrival the staff was exceptionally nice and very welcoming. The entire bottom floor/lobby/kids play area/ dining is all 5/5 new and very top tier.

The rooms definitely are on the older side.
They are very manageable but bathrooms are tighter and the overall cleanliness just wasn't there. Lots of hair in our room in carpets and on shelves. Not a big deal but was noticeable.
Patio was super dirty with spider webs everywhere. Not cleaned at all.

Food and drinks were 4/5 and overall very enjoyable.
The activities and space next to the balaton for the kids and family are the reasons we came and the reason we will return.

Now to the only negative of our trip and I was fully prepared to give this hotel a 5/5 but this just took it down 1 for us.
The younger girls who work the breakfast/dinner and drink area outside are just not very pleasant. It's very obvious the girls are not happy to be there and quite frankly are very rude. The overall demeanor from them was "can't wait to get off work and you are in our way"
I hope this is just a summer job for them and this is not the permanent staff.
It's VERY obvious they are not happy to be there.

None the less we will 100% be coming back and recommending. We enjoyed our trip here and would recommend it.

Spent a couple of days at the hotel that was designated a family weekend, primarily for children. Very enjoyable and a nice atmosphere in the hotel. One moan that our party did not appreciate. There was a company event taking place in the hotel that meant the lake side bar was closed to guests not part of this company event - quite poor in my opinion when you are a full paying hotel guest but a facility is closed to you in this way. It also meant the hotel and its facilities were quite crowded at times. We should have been alerted to this situation when booking the hotel.

The view is breath-taking. Silent area, very nice after season is over. Swimming pool is very pleasant. The restaurant downstares is as good as any 5-star hotel restaurant in the capital.

Just visited relatives and had a dinner, but as I saw the hotel is perfect for families with kids. The room could be a little bigger. The food is at the highest level.

Service at the restaurant could be better…long waiting time for drinks! Othervise we still love it…beachfront and the view are great. Kid programs also good.

I asked first if parking has fee and they said no. Then at checkout they wanted a parking fee, so I said the day before it was different. So just make sure this parking is clarified before checkin. You might be able to park just on the street in front of the fence.

Directly on the beach, great panorama, private beach, sauna, indoor pool, typical piece of four-star hotels. Comfortable, fully equipped rooms, wi-fi is fine almost throughout the building. Quiet and peaceful (in the pre-season and post-season it is especially suitable for a few days of rest). The restaurant is good, the food is plentiful, the staff do a good job. It's hard to find fault, this hotel really deserves four stars.
