Went to see art exhibit. Was good.

Cheap place to stay with cosy rooms and a shared bathroom. For a hostel it was rather clean, but a second toilet or separate shower/toilet would be necessary. Good prices at the bar, nice seating outside, loud music (and not to my own taste). Value for money was really good though.

Would lot really call it a hostel as we have our private apartment with two bedrooms (one with a bunk bed and a single bed, and another room with a double bed) The rooms were generally clean and smelled freshed but you can see the rooms done via DIY. Excellent location and hearth of the city center. Parking can be found about 10-15 minutes walk from the place and weekdays...

The building is in a good location, you can say everything is just an arm's length away - 10 minutes from the boat harbor, where you can sail for 2 hours in exchange for a HUF 500 ticket exchange. Shops, shop restaurants, patisserie etc ... everything is on site. Walking through one or two streets nearby, you can find the Black Eagle canteen, where you can eat home-made flavors at a reasonable price...

Extremely thin walls, sometimes there is no electricity, but the owner is decent and fixes it quickly. Large heaters don't always work. They are also flexible in the event of a broken window.

We were with a university group at the beginning of February. The basic equipment is good, also in the kitchen. The neighborhood is very beautiful, the house is on the bank of the Danube. The building itself is dilapidated, made of wood, but usable and cheap(!).

Very nice hostel in a beautiful and green part of the city with great surroundings - perfect for walking, jogging, cycling and great spot to reach any place in the city center quickly. Island hostel Budapest is surrounded by lovely green parks. The terrace of hostel is lovely place to sit and listen to spring birds singing. Hostel is clean and comfy beds, good security and helpful staff. You have to walk 10 minutes to get a tram.

The hostel is located on Margit-sziget Island and can be reached by bus. The reception counter is on the second floor. There is a shared kitchen and an outdoor terrace with a river view.

It is what it says on the tin. This is a no-frills guest house. The owners were lovely, and mostly let us keep to ourselves. The location is great as it is next to a metro stop and it's not in a noisy part of town.

Agreed on previous reviews, the place has a feeling not a hostel for international travellers but for local long stayers, working class people. Stay here on your own risk, it's often fully booked due to an extremely low price but as a downside you'll get a bunch of loud ladies cooking their evening meals and socialising well into the night. A fully equipped kitchen is one a few bright spots though...

Awsome party hostel, one for f my best stays ever. There always organising something to do in the evenings and are very inclusive to any one willing to have a great time. Located in a central zone, easy to reach every important place in the city. The house is quite old but it's nice if you just need a place to sleep. The experience was not what I anticipated at all. We really didn't stay at the hostel, but had a room in someones apartment. Nothing wrong with the room itself, but it was kind of strange living there with the other people. Great little hostel in the city centre. Quick and easy access into the centre of the city. Room are okay, showers are fine. Unfortunately only 1 male toilet and 1 female toilet for all guests, although there doesn't seem to be more than 20 bed spaces in the whole hostel so not much of an issue. Very good location right in the center. The staff were also very helpful. Rooms were clean but had a weird smell to it. Also the key given can unlock all the rooms in the building so safety wise it’s not too practical. Overall good value for money. Also very loud at night.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Check-in was fast. Rooms are very clean but beds are not that big if you're a tall person. Location is superb and you can directly find anything you need immediately. They have group Whatsapp for activities but I didn't try it. Breakfast is fine and tasty.

Great location, great atmosphere, great staff and great breakfast! I was able to relax on my bunker without other bunk mates bothering me, and breakfast had a variety of fresh veggie options. The only concern I had was that the plugs inside the bunks did not really work for my Type C to A plug converter, and it kept falling out multiple times. Great atmosphere, big spaces, around 15 min walk from the core of the city centre. Beds are enclosed in single boxes with own window, courtain, plug and lamp. That was very handy and helps with privacy. The entrance of the building is not so pleasant but inside the hostel is quite nice

I stayed at Pal's Mini for 5 nights in a clean and spacious room with a bathroom. Friendly and helpful staff. It is also well connected, in fact the metro is just a few meters away from the hostel. We really enjoyed it!

I stayed here for a few nights in January and I enjoyed it. It was cheap, and they let me pay in cash with euros (I think 57 euros for 4 nights & a lock for my locker). The location makes everything quite walkable. I did not use the common area; my photos show the building from the outside.

It was difficult to find the hostel at first. I cam late and couldn't come in through the door by the street at first. Someone living there opened it, as he wanted to go inside. After that, the service was nice. The curtains of the bed are not covering enough, so I needed my own sleep mask to get it dark. Also the location is near to a loud street. It is nice for going to bars at night but not so sleeping

So let's stay at a great place. It was clean and the best value. Just stay for a long time if you need to. It's the best to work with, and there's good food around the area, so eat well.
