Hotel very average. The smell of fryer everywhere. The room I received was microscopic, while a colleague received a normal room for the same money. The cuisine was tasty and a big plus for the pool, however, not adequate for the price.

The hotel itself is very good. However, elevators, only 2 if you wanna go to the underground garage. Upon check in and check out, we had to wait 20-30mins to be able to get up and downstairs. A full spa experience. It was very nice. Breakfast and dinner were included in the price. It is a true spa with multiple pools and types of saunas. The room was large with a nice desk and a full kitchen. Small balcony. Very convenient to the sights. Convenient parking. The food was good. The room is quite large and equipped with a kitchen, but the facilities are relatively old. The hotel is suitable for local people to come on vacation. There is a swimming pool, a large dining area, and a wide variety of breakfasts.

We were there for a family gathering on Sunday afternoon, for a great little brunch. There was a very wide selection and very good quality food on the buffet counter. There was also a separate pasta counter where a beautiful chef prepared the right pasta dishes for us from the selected ingredients.

After last year's fire, Silvanus has reopened - although renovations are still ongoing. The final completion of the project is expected by the end of May: all rooms and the renovated outdoor pool will be in use. We were in the Spa years ago, but we were already very curious. We were not disappointed!

It's a neat and nice place to come for mostly package holidays, but it's hard to walk around because the surroundings are too dark and squashed. Luckily, it was good to sell wine in the restaurant.

It'a nice to stay 1 or max 2 days to relax however relaxation at the pool is dependent on the events they have with big groups of people. When we stayed there there were alot of people staying by the pool when going out for breaks from a conference room. Pool water clean, spa is small but nice. Breakfast good. It’s evident that this hotel was once grandiose, but time has taken its toll. The large complex with pools is impressive in size, but there are more outside visitors than hotel guests, which gives the place a cheap feel. The sunbeds are in terrible condition, and towels are not provided at the pool entrance—you have to bring small towels from your room. It feels more like a public pool than a hotel...

The place was made for kids, or those who still feel like once. Planty of water slides, indoor pools and jacuzzi. Outdoor warmed pools, playgrounds, food courts and more. The kids wanted to stay more. Easy to arrive from the center of Budapest by public transportation.

I'm rating the hotel only. Nice rooms, large breakfast buffet. A/C in the rooms could be more powerful in summer months. No satisfactory solution for charging electric cars (standard electric plug to be used, providing only about 1.6 kW).

The facilities where very good. The dinner was not good and not worth the price. The bath was not very clean and the air condition was very noisy and not very cold. The cashier in the pool Restaurant fast food were not nice and they talked about us in Hungarian. The guy in checkout reception was very nice. And asked how do we feel.

The park itself was very nice for kids (event the pool restaurant surprised us) but we do not recommend staying at the hotel. It looks like they don't like strangers, and even when I complained to the hotel management (both through reception and through a direct email) about the bartender who just wouldn't talk to me in English, he didn't even respond.

The hotel is a bit out from city centre but very peaceful location in a large park surrounded by river Danube. the 26 bus goes by hotel every 15/20minutes right to city centre. Clean room. Larger than expected. Amazing views across the river. WiFi access points could be better placed but signal strength in rooms is not a surprise with all the metal. Outside the room seeing wifi speeds around 50mbps down /13mbps up.

Loved our stay here, beautiful view, very clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff. The only let down was the breakfast but only because we like a typical English breakfast.

Excellent value floating hotel situated almost opposite the parliament building. Nice rooms, great views and friendly staff. A little away from the centre but very close to the nearest underground station. A good base for visiting the city. Breakfast prices convert to approximately £10 pp which I thought was reasonable value for a buffet and a gentle start to the day.

It is relatively close to Fisherman's Bastion, about 10 minutes' walk. The hotel has a good breakfast, an acceptable accommodation environment, and a comfortable terrace.

The room was very clean and tidy, and there was almost no noise. The location and price were very reasonable. The only drawback was that the hotel was located in an area with undulating terrain, so you have to go through a long flight of stairs on the way from the bus station to the hotel. The hotel is very good value in that the rooms are actual apartments, spacious clean, & our 1 bedroom had a washing machine outside the bathroom& a large drying rack which worked well. The front desk also has a key to the laundry room which has a single dryer which we used but then you had to go up & down & possibly wait for it to be available. The apartment is a straight walk to the subway station, but there is no ticket machine at the subway entrance, so you have to walk to the other end of the subway station to buy a ticket. My favorite hotel in Budapest. The staff is always friendly, welcoming and helpful. The appartments are big and beautiful and well equipped. The danube is very near and it is a good and calm district. The breakfast is good and they also have a bar and the lobby is very comfortable and nice. They also have a gym, swimming pool, sauna and jakuzzi/ whirlpool. I really love this place 🥰
