Nov.15 to 19 Room 102....
I like the location. It's close to the metro station and other tourist attractions like Hungarian Parliament Builduing. Room was clean as well as the toilet. Each bed has a curtain for privacy purpose. You have your own small lamp light in bed and power outlet for mobile phone charging. The small cabinet or drawer is very useful for storing some little things and that is being placed in your bed apart from the locker assigned for your own use. Breakfast was good but nothing special. Laura, the lady staff that works for breakfast, although I didn't have a conversation with her, she seemed friendly and approachable. But the lady that works for dinner, also wears blue uniform (my first night - Nov.15), wasn't friendly so the next day, I had my dinner outside.
Nothing much to complain about but I have to say that in my 4 days stay there, I never had a perfect boiled egg. A perfect one must be peeled off its shell easily.

The experience in the hostel was amazing, the place is in a very good location of the city, nearby to the tram and the metro. The accommodation was very good, and the service very nice. The staffs were very kindly, want to thanks Julia, Joaquim, Arthur, Andrés, Caio, Murilo and Norbi that helped enjoying the stay.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Check-in was fast. Rooms are very clean but beds are not that big if you're a tall person. Location is superb and you can directly find anything you need immediately. They have group Whatsapp for activities but I didn't try it. Breakfast is fine and tasty.

I stayed in this hostel last year. It was good last year.
Thanks to my experiences from last time, I have chosen Avenue again. It is still good.
Very friendly staff, clean rooms and restrooms, great location, walking group organization and everything.

Well, they don’t provide padlocks (they can take extra deposit and solve this problem) and no cheese for the breakfast ;)

I had an excellent stay at Avenue Hostel. Everything was perfect — the atmosphere, cleanliness, and location were all great.
A special thank-you to Canjina and Anna for their kindness and helpful attitude. They were always welcoming, professional, and made the experience even better.
I definitely recommend this hostel, and I would happily stay here again!

Great location, great atmosphere, great staff and great breakfast! I was able to relax on my bunker without other bunk mates bothering me, and breakfast had a variety of fresh veggie options.
The only concern I had was that the plugs inside the bunks did not really work for my Type C to A plug converter, and it kept falling out multiple times. I was able to charge and use the plug in the common areas, so it wasn’t that grave of a problem.

The location and breakfast was great and easy to access. I was in the mix dormitory and the room was quite tiny. I can just suggest having a small lock for your locker.

Excellent location, walkable to many places in downtown. Restaurants, exchangers and groceries nearby. Metro station Oktogon is right nextdoor. The hostel provides free breakfast, if you spend over 4 euros at the bar at dinner time you also get free dinner. There's a kitchen area in each room unit free to use as well.

I’m 6ft 2 and fit in these beds comfortably, only issue that I had was that the walls are thin and you can hear all road noise and people walking and talking in the hallways.
If you don’t mind wearing earplugs then the location is good as it’s only 5-10 minute walk to the shops/ bars.
