It was so pleasing to find the best hostel in Budapest. Truly much satisfied experience. First of all, great location and the receptionist was friendly & helpful. I was offered an upgraded room as well. The kitchen & room had all amenities and exceptionally maintained. Check-in , check-out was rather quick as well. Basic buffet breakfast was provided, valuable too.

A lovely experience at the hostel. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The location of the hostel is just perfect. It’s right in the city and getting to all the touristic places is really convenient.

My experience at the hostel was amazing, thanks to Britney, Marai, and Vyom. They were incredibly attentive and helped me with everything I needed during my stay. Their kindness and willingness to assist with every detail made this one of the best hostel experiences I've ever had. The location is excellent, close to everything, and the atmosphere is very welcoming. They also offer great activities that make the stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place. Thank you all

It's in a great location but from my hostel experience there is a bit of a strange vibe here at times. Quite a mix of different types of travellers. The breakfast was okay but wish it had more of a fruit/salad bar rather than a couple of apples. The location is superb and the staff seemed like they were really trying. There's no social area other than the uncomfortable chairs near reception, some sofas would be really nice. The breakfast area got closed off after breakfast, just feel like more could be gone with the space!

Excellent experience overall! I got a 8-bed mixed room with 2 of my friends. The beds were modern and relatively clean, though the room got really warm on one day. There were communal bathrooms as well as one private one in the room. The hostel is really social, affordable, and English-speaking. The common room/cafeteria downstairs is a great way to meet people. Breakfast is free and there’s a dinner deal for €4 meal + drink. Great central location with lots of fun and transit nearby.

I had one of the best shared rooms (on 2nd floor) with space and AC and our own kitchen, a separate bathroom to take a shower in the night without waking up everyone. Very clean. Good for solo travel, well located in the city.
Also dinner is very affordable so it's a lovely option for low budget travel.

Great hostel and well priced, rooms are good and you get a free dinner with every pint you buy from the bar which is nice. The breakfast is free but not amazing. I would highly recommend the Budapest walking tour by Amrenda. It's free and a great thing to do. He is a very good guide and talks a lot about the history of Budapest and Hungary, which I found very interesting. It is also a great way to meet people.

I had been here from October 11 to 13, 2022. We were 6 of us and had been provided with a very large room. Had a very good breakfast as it was complimentary. The hostel from outside didn’t look good when I visited but from inside the rooms were fantastic.
The location is what makes this hostel more appealing. Located at the heart of the city, if I must say so.

fantastic value for money - we thought the price was too good to be true and when we got there we were so pleasantly surprised!! avenue hostel has it all, it's in an ideal location for tram and metro connections, very clean, has so many social events going on, has amazing free breakfast and overall really is a buzzing place :) (side note: do expect a few people in their 40s or 50s it didn't bother us as they were just fellow travellers but i know for some people it's uncomfortable)

Great staff, very clean and a beautiful period building. The rooms are bright and the most well equipped hostel I’ve ever stayed in. In a 6 bed and it’s very spacious and even has a turbo fan!!
