Where to stay in Esztergom

The hotel is very good. Beautiful place. It's exactly located in the bank of the river. To slovakia, it's 15 minutes of drive. Foods are nice. For vegetarians, the options are less. Greetings are fine. View is nice

Hotel very average. The smell of fryer everywhere. The room I received was microscopic, while a colleague received a normal room for the same money. The cuisine was tasty and a big plus for the pool, however, not adequate for the price.

The hotel was beautiful, everywhere was spotlessly clean, the spa was excellent and the staff were extremely helpful, kind and polite. The food was delicious, the room was clean and beautiful. The only negative experience was that the wifi did not work (did not provide internet), and the TV channel scale was not too wide.

The bed is really comfortable. The pillows are very fluffy. The bathroom is clean and big. The hotel itself is very beautiful and clean. The view is amazing. The food is delicious.

I’ve heard and read in advertising about this „excellent” hotel so we wanted to try it. We spent 2 nights there and it was a bit dissappointing for us. Everything was O.K. Very pleasant stay and experience. Spent two nights with our 2-year old and everything was perfect. We enjoyed the kids playroom (an entire floor with games and areas for all preferences), the big pool complex on the opposite side and the restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Staff was friendly and caring in all departments, room comfy (loved the bed sheets) and the overall ambiance was very relaxed...

The hotel has fair rooms that are pretty neat, a good cuisine, and it is in a great place to almost all the things to see. It is a shame that after you get your accommodation, you do not get access to the hotel spa only by paying ( 10 euro/person). Instead, you can go across the street to te city bath for free. The hotel itself is very good. However, elevators, only 2 if you wanna go to the underground garage. Upon check in and check out, we had to wait 20-30mins to be able to get up and downstairs. Food selection is good but not all of them are as delicious as they look. Overall, a good experience though.

For this price (70-80.000 huf ~200 eur/night for a double bed): - no wellness, you have to walk to the other side of the road to the pool - no londiner "bell boy" service, you have to pack your own stuff. Otherwise nice, clean rooms, great breakfast.

The bar of the Hotel is not managed by the Hotel management! This is a pity because they are acting very arrogant. It seems that you have to fall on your knee if you want to be served! Very good location. We liked the high quality saunas and excellent cold plunge, but avoided the pools since they were mobbed by kids! Ditto for breakfast... This place caters to families, so go early if you want to avoid the noise!

Nice room, friendly staff, good breakfast and nice bar. It is in a good location to get from the Castle . There is a playroom for kids, and it is attached to an aquatic facility with pools, slides, a lazy river and a hot tub. My only disappointment was the hours for the gym. Since it is attached to the aquatics facility, it doesn’t open until 830 am. I would have loved to use it around 630-7

The room isn't very large, but it feels cozy. It includes a spacious comfortable bad, brand-new furniture, and up-to-date plumbing. The room is excellently soundproofed. Everything was fine. The room was clean, and big enough, the food was varied, and satisfied all needs. There was a room for children too. The experiens spa was very good too. The staff was polite, and helpul. The wiew from my room was wonderfool.

Great hotel, close to the Slovakian border and Danube river. The spa was easily accessible and included in the price of the room. The staff was professional and friendly. Room was clean and had a great view.

Decent accomodation in very centre or Esztergom. Spacious rooms, surprisingly good wellness if you enjoy saunas, accompanied by adequate breakfast. Recommended for a weekend stay.

The pension was very nice and clean! I recommend it to everyone. In front of the pension is the Csülök csárda, you must try it!

We stayed for 3 nights at the Szent Kristof. The room was very specious, and clean beyond any standard! Breakfast was awesome and the staff very friendly and accommodating. If in Esztergom will stay there again for sure.

Its a cheap place, bit its in a good location. I would recommend it for sportsmen/women and students. It has a bar too.

Great location, friendly staff, good breakfast. But from the outside, the window of the room was closed with bars, which could not be moved aside because of the mosquito net.

I have read previous reviews which have overwhelmingly positive ratings. I can confirm these too. 4 * hotel with corresponding service and price level. I have not experienced anything objectionable. It is close to the Basilica and gives a novel, uninhabited impression.

The place itself is very good looking. The rooms have air conditioner, little TV. It has an "breakfast" from 7am to 10 am. They have all kind of food, you can make tea from various flavors. I totally recommend it for a few days.

This place is a little old fashioned but has a magical charm that makes you feel you are visiting old friends in stead of a hotel. If you like cosy and different then this is the place for you.

Amazing service off the bat. Location for Esztergom is unreal. Less than 4 minutes to the Basilica and Castle. Doesn't seem to have AC, but rooms feel well ventilated - so maybe only to consider on very hot days if you have specific needs. Had great recommendations for food and sites from staff. Great experience!

Room clean and tidy. Good shower. Mattress a bit hard for us but ok. Quite hard to find hotel location when cycling there but very near the Basilica. People gathered in the courtyard to talk and drink in the evening so a bit noisy for trying to go to sleep. Breakfast was good but very busy. Coffee was great. Staff on duty really helpful as was the receptionist on arrival.

Cheap and amazingly located in the middle of many tourist location, I enjoyed my staying there, I must say that their matrass are perfect! You will sleep like a baby ;)

Very nice hotel at the center of Esztergom city. You can easily get access to the Basilica and nice restaurants. The hotel itself is not a huge facility but you can hear the birds singing in the morning, which I think is romantic. You will have an easy breakfast in the morning at the hotel, so you need to walk a lot to able to get food. No slippers in the room and amenity is poor, so took away a star...

The guests were very welcoming, their recommandations what to visit/try was very helpful. The guest house was well beyond my expectations the bed was comfortable, room and kitchen well equipped for the price, excellent location - you have to climb some stairs, but the view is magical.

It was what you would expect from a guesthouse, the owner is a good person. They pay great attention to cleanliness, the bed was comfortable. It is close to the center, we can reach everything in minutes. We'll check back again if we have the chance.

We booked it cheap, it was good for that. Closed parking, nice little garden. There is a barbecue area, covered hut. Anyone who wants this is great. Downtown is about 20-25 minutes walk. Our room looked back to the garden, it was quiet. Anyway, on the main road, I don't know what the street rooms are.
