Beautiful and romantic accommodation near the historic center.
The staff was very kind and helpful. The rooms were clean with historical furniture and a pleasant aroma. Breakfast was delicious and rich.
The pool and the surroundings - lawns, sunbeds were carefully maintained. The only recommendation - there are no shelves or hangers for towels in the bathroom or in the room. However, this little thing did not spoil our very good impression of the stay.

Beautiful hotel just minutes walk from the abbey and town centre. High quality furniture, bedding and breakfast in beautiful surroundings and with every comfort. Also pet friendly, so was great with our dog. Highly recommended

What a quaint bed and breakfast. Our room was very large, and had a seating area. Breakfast was good, receptionist was very helpful and friendly. You can walk to restaurants. Very quaint town. Could have spent another day in the area

I only stayed one night here. What a special place! All the furniture in the facility is antique, except the bathroom, which is modern and exceptionally functional. The service is personal and sincere, and the breakfast buffet surpassed all expectations. The staff was replenishing the food constantly.
Bear in mind, Houses of History is very old, and the walls are thin, so one hears other visitors as they walk through the halls. Nonetheless, I slept perfectly. I could stay here forever!

It’s a really nice guest house. The staff speak perfectly English and are very friendly and helpful. All is good organized. The room was spacious, clean and had all the basic amenities, including a very diverse selection of soaps from the region.
The complimentary breakfast is also super. It has everything a European breakfast offers and good quality. Nothing too special but just good.
Overall, great experience and would definitely recommend them if one would like to visit the area!

Nice location and one of a kind furniture. Nice breakfast. But: full of spiders, rooms are not cleaned. We were hearing animals in the night walking through the attic (maybe rats). For four days not a single room service/cleaning. Wondering why they charge 25€ p. night for small pet. On second day there water started floating from the window into my room and they gave us towels to put under the window. No compensation. Bad experience and i wouldn’t recommend.

Beautiful location first of all! The “front desk” was hard to find because it was within one of the buildings in the quad. Very local and simple. Our room had spiders which wasn’t very comforting but other than that, it was a clean room.

A very nice accommodation with an excellent breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. You can park your bikes in a large room. The dogs are welcomed!

Just be aware when booking non refundable that having paid you may then have to pay extra for pets,parking and ground floor rooms which is not inexpensive. The hotel says all the info is provided but seems to miss the crucial point that the info gets provided drip by drip after paying and if it's not refundable you are stuffed.
