Where to stay in Tiberias

Great trip. The best part was the kids club. The people running the kids programming remembered my kids names, greeted them everywhere we went, provided age appropriate activities for each child, and made sure they included them in every activity. My kids didn’t want to leave because they were having so much fun. Can’t wait to come back!

Great experience overall! The location is very convenient with convenient commerce around. Close to a nice stroll at night by the Sea front. We stayed 2 nights. A group of 20 in 10 rooms. There were bus loads of people checking in but the whole process was handled in an efficient manner. Rooms are very comfortable. The staff is amazing. Reception is efficient and they do the arivel very good. The bell boy they are always waiting and they handdel the unloading the luggage from the bus very smoothly they are really very good. Jan is always thier and he receives the groups with a smile and making sure the staff of the hotel are all doing thier job as assigned to make sure the hotel customers are receiving the best...

I can't believe that there is no air conditioning. Had to leave my window open towards the main street. Not getting much sleep very upset. Also nothing but water to drink at nighttime. Of course they want you to purchase wine,, beer or soda.. how can this be a true buffet.Would not recommend because of these reasons.

Really good surprise compared to other hotels in Israel I've been to. Great food with a lot of variety. 3 meals a day, cake and cofee late afternoon and snacks at the pool all day long. There wasn't any entertainment. not such good customer service. it just seemed better when looking online oh well.

Fantastic hotel in Tibereas from when we checked in we were handled very well the staff are very friendly especially Nael he made sure that everything was presice the General manager was accessible it was thei best customer service we have received in the whole of Israeli as we have spent 12 days going around different hotels. We had a wonderful stay at the Leonardo Hotel in Tiberius. Stav, Ilona and Saleem were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Mohammad was a very caring, exceptional server for a delicious breakfast as well. The views from our room of the Sea of Galilee were amazingly beautiful. The room was comfortable and clean and we slept well. The price is great and I would highly recommend a stay here.

Stayed at Ginosar Hotel and it was a wonderful experience. The location is unbeatable — right on the shores of the Sea of Galilee. Rooms were cozy, clean, and very comfortable. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Perfect mix of nature, peace, and great hospitality.

We stayed at the Village which are small houses that have a bedroom very basic kitchenette and a bathroom. All the rooms are surrounded by lawns, have a grill and picnic tables. Everything is very simple and basic but it is ideal for family travel. There is a swimming pool and a nice beach on the sea of Galilee. This hotel used to be a Kibbutz. The rooms are nicely arranged. Large wet room which is good. It is right next to the Sea of Galilee. It has a pool too. Food is very tasty and it's buffet style with lots of choice

Had a great time with family and friends. The room was very nice with a big bath. The kid's beds were a bit small but the kids managed. The meals - we got breakfast and Friday night supper - were great. Lots of different dishes for every taste. The pool area was also very nice, had a compressor to inflate the big pool toys. Deluxe room was super clean and specious (I think Deluxe rooms are newer than Grand Deluxe). Beach was nice, sunshade was good, located next to a wide park with plenty of places to sit. Pool is a bit small if you're visiting when the hotel is fully booked. Breakfast was excellent! We asked for a gluten free option and got a plate with pancakes, waffles and other pastries (cereals are available too...

Was here for one night for birthright. It was sufficient. Bathroom light would often take several moments to flicker on if it all. Not the cleanest up places but definitely not dirty. The dinner and breakfast buffets that we had there were easily the best part, almost good enough for me to go from 3 stars to 4... But not quite.

Old hotel, but I like the name of it: "King Solomon". I don't care about previous reviews, yes, it is not a new hotel, old windows, AC is not so good :), but I was excited that I am in Tverya. One of the most historical places in Bible. Look at the beautiful lake... close your eyes and pray...

Helpful staff. A woman at the front desk helped us arrange for a laundry pickup and drop off while we were out on our tour. Beautiful sunrises over the Sea of Galilee.

Pretty nice hotel with plenty of great views of the Sea of Galilee and guest amenities. Attractive facilities and generally comfortable room. Showers drain water all over the floor causing the bathroom to be perpetually wet. Unfortunately one young employee, Grace, is quite entitled and quickly tells you. Ironically, she doesn't think equally high of customer service as she does of her own self...

Simple hotel. Small spa w jacuzzi. Training room, large outside pool. Not much more. Rooms are simple w TV and fridge. Breakfast was Israeli typical and good but not outstanding, with everything you need Nice choice of cheeses.

Food was ok, but not outstanding. Hours for amenities such as pool and workout room eas very limited 7am-7pm. Temperature control had one setting, cold.

Such an amazing hotel. You can have a dip on the Sea of Galilee without even leaving the hotel. The variety of food was fantastic too.

Hotel well situated. Rooms are a good size, with generous bathroom. Coffee/tea making facilities, plus fridge. The food was excellent, both the breakfast and dinner. I would definitely stay there again.

Amazing hotel. Direct at the Sea of Galilee. Great service from the personal, especially from the waiters. The food was delicious and the buffet always a little different. I loved it. From all the hotels on my trip, this was definitely the best!

Had a great stay here. Wonderful poolside view as well as room-view of the Sea of Galilee. Service was always friendly and I liked the fact that the food was non-kosher which meant more of the food that I’m used to. Alexia was one of the nicest folks that I’ve during my trip here!

I stayed at the Ron Beach Hotel with a tour group for 3 nights. The first night I found the room to be unacceptable so I called the front desk. The clerk came to the room and I pointed out all the defects. The next day I was moved to another room which was fine. The food was very good and the staff were all very nice. A good place to stay. My stay was from March 21-23, 2018.

I was there on last march for couple of days. Yes! Passed a great time there with wife and kids. Would back again!

Beautiful room and nicely decored. Although it appears to be they just finised redecorating it because of the dust and chipped paints everywhere on the room floor and bathroom. The buffet were great, although some food were very questionable quality. Very accommodating staff albeit the difficulty of language barriers and limited English proficiency to understand more perfectly.

Me and my friends visited the hotel for 3 days and we had really good time great rooms , great view , close to the sea , the food was really beyond my imagine very big variety and delicious cakes at the dinner , we really had a good time and the staff was great so thanks for all royal plaza tiberias !

Amazing. The place is beautiful the staff exceeded our l expectations. Extremely helpful at all areas of service. Beds and rooms are spectacular. I will definitely go back to same place and recommend the Hotel. My only recommendation to the managers will be to extend the pool schedule to 7:30 pm during summer time and include an outside Bar service at the pool for tourist.

Three days of vacancy. The hotel is beautiful, little but enough, the swimming pool for adult and children were clean, private beach and the room too. The breakfast as the dinner were over our expectations. The team with smile, and quick answer to every demand. I have to say that it was really a great time and thank you. The only point and not a secret is the price, not cheap..but ...it's worth it

Great cozy hotel. Not perfect or luxurious but in line with the level of good hotels in Israel. Nice rooms, great food, and overlooking the Sea of Galilea, especially the dinning room. Sits right at the beach.

The outside looks okay but the room is quite old. There is nothing to shout about on the food selection as it is standard buffet style for dinner and breakfast. The only issue is there are no laundry services and swimming pool close at 7pm. Wifi coverage is fair as there are blind spots in the room. Nearby surroundings are quite quiet and there is nothing much to explore.

Nothing fancy here. Just a clean room, a good breakfast, a helpful staff, a fairly good bar, and convenient to the bus lines. (Warning: The bus service in Tiberias is not too reliable, but that is not the hotel's fault.) I enjoyed my stay.

It's a quiet and nice boutique hotel. Not fancy. Offer good service. The staff were mostly welcoming but not all. They are not used to the local demanding clientele and some were a bit impatient for requests. The food is basic in Israeli standards but very good. In international standards it is top notch. Beautiful lake view. Polite staff. Never a complaint for this hotel althoug some areas and rooms are a bit tired. Suggest to book the renovated rooms which are really nice. Owner and staff always there to help. Little spa available if you have spare time. No luxury just a small spa area.

The best boutique hotel in Israel. hotel with a lot of good atmosphere, the best food, the service, the view of the Kinneret and the best spa there is. The price is not cheap but worth every shekel. highly recommended

We stayed at the Scots Hotel for a week several years ago. I was amazed at the amount and quality of food put out for breakfast each morning and the bar has some of the best whiskeys in the world. We loved the location and the grounds were beautiful! We were treated royally the entire time we stayed there. Loved this hotel! I hope to make it back again!

Tiberias is not a nice city but The Scots is an oasis overlooking the Sea of Galilee. The grounds are beautiful and so is the pool. The staff is accommodating and customer-forward. Our two big complains for such an expensive hotel: 1) the bed was horrible and very uncomfortable. The hotel did not have a mattress topper and had no solutions for us. 2) the food is just average -- they tried but not hard...

The hotel is historic with a amazing view to the Dead Sea , really good breakfast . Unfortunately the Rooms are old but we still had a great time in Tiberias.

Not the most modern or well equiped hotel, the room was quite noisy, but it was fairly clean, in an area close to a pharmacy and shops. But the food was amazing! Fresh and tasty and varied.

This is a museum dedicated to an incredible woman from the 16th century, who could be considered the first modern-day Zionist. There is a most enjoyable tour, in Hebrew, moving from exhibit to exhibit and explaining the historical facts of her life. The tour is also given in Russian, and possibly in English (I'm not certain). Call to find out. The tour takes about an hour and costs 30 NIS. Before starting...

The hotel also serves as a museum and offers a guided tour (about two hours). The tour is interesting and informative. You learn some history beyond the personal story of Dona Gracia and get to see the lovely exhibits. Recommend for hot days and Saturdays (when most of Tiberias is closed).
