Great hotel in a really good location for the old town, smart shops and railway station.

The best location in Bari, walking distance to old town, the station and shopping district. So clean, airy rooms, reception staff couldn’t be more helpful and the breakfast 10/10.

This was my first time in this hotel, chain and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised and a very happy guest rossella the front desk young lady was so helpful that she made me feel that I was an important guess which always makes a guess. Feel good. She helped me with reservations. How to get where I wanted to go like the grocery store, etc. I even had problems before we got here. She answered my text. This is a woman who really feel strongly about people orienting and making her hotel. Stand out by her service.
The room was small, but worked well for two people. There was a small desk with a chair a mini bar safe the bed was comfortable the bathroom. The shower was fine. They had all the toiletries that you would need. The towels were good breakfast was very good if you want cappuccino, you can ask and the service staff will be happy to make it for you if you want to have eggs there’s a cost involved. they do have the usual rambled eggs already made plus all kinds of yogurt, fruits, croissants cheeses, The lobby is very nice to sit in. This was a very pleasant experience and location is what it’s all about for me and I must say I could get everywhere I want to go in this town the old town shopping street plenty of restaurants.

Stayed at JR Hotel Oriente Bari for 2 overnights and the location could not have been better. Centrally located to major attractions in Old Town Bari, restaurants/cafes/bars and the water. The hotel is decent and the staff is friendly. We did have an emergency light on in our room that shone all night and would not turn off and it was a very basic room. Would certainly recommend but don't expect anything extravagant.

Excellent hotel! Rooms are on the smaller size but they are beautiful and clean! Shower pressure is great! A/C works amazing! Great service and good breakfast buffet. Highly recommend staying here.

But heating/AC in my room was bad. It was chilly outside but my room was like a sauna. Tried to adjust in-room controls but nothing & we barely slept with uncomfortable heating :(

Staff at hotel tried to help. Second night slightly better but we like a cooler environment so still a tad uncomfortable. (There are windows we could open to cool off room but they didn’t add much.) Third and final night same over-heated, in-room situation.

Bottom line we enjoyed hotel but would have loved better, customizable heating/AC controls in the rooms because we just did not sleep well here and would avoid Orient on next Bari trip :(
