Very pleasant staff and rooms as described.
They even let us have our luggage stored at the hotel when we came back five days later. Very accommodating! Would recommend.

Great location in the city. Only 10 min from the airport. Room I was in was a bit dated. Good selection for breakfast. Staff helpful.
A side note; taxis are very difficult to come by in Bergamo even when ordered by hotel. Order well in advance.

Hotel San Marco surprised us. The reception is very beautiful and modern, we got a room key from the lady with a huge tag with our room number. We had a room facing the street and on the third floor. Very nice view and even though we were near a busy street, we can't complain about the noise. The blinds on the windows can be controlled by the switch right next to the curtains. The bed was huge and beautifully made and changed every day. Breakfast rich in pastries, sundaes, cheeses, eggs, as well as sweet snacks, yogurts, jams. The price matched the quality and we will definitely be back.

From 7.00 on a Saturday morning the hotel is incredibly noisy! And this is not a problem of tourists, this is a renovation that begins at 7 am with the sound of a hammer hitting the wall! At the reception they say that this is from November 2023. If you value your sleep even a little, never stay at this hotel!

The hotel is old. The location is the best. You can walk to everywhere. The breakfast is very good. But the room is not the best.

We were here September 2023 as a base for the F1 at Monza. Certainly come back to this hotel. Very friendly and helpful 👌 staff. Centrally located. Everything you need within walking distance. Clean, tidy and very Italian.... We love ❤️ it.

Nice location, walking distance to the city and funivia. Some rooms are very old, and need a bit of refreshments. Not very friendly staff, in fact when we arrived at the hotel at 8pm ,we didn't have a reservation so we went to the reception and said that we could book online on booking but we wanted to know the best price for 1 night directly with the hotel. The reception guy ( middle-aged italian) popped up the price online ( in front of us!) and, with his best smile, said: 140€ / night, the best price.

Love this charming hotel, always staying here in last 4 years. Service and breakfasts are great. Only one complain is Wi-Fi. Anyway still would recommend it as a best and the most charming in Bergamo

A great deal in town! Our hotel room had a great view of the old city on the hill. A nice, quiet place to relax and take in beautiful Bergamo. Comfortable bed, great water pressure in the shower, nice, big room with a balcony. Breakfast was great and we sat on the terrace overlooking the plaza. Highly recommend!
