Not exactly what I was expecting. Booked using a reputable website and sent messages for three days before eventually calling to get a reply. That should have been my warning!
They say they have an airport shuttle service. However, it's only at specific times, which meant we had to get a taxi to the hotel. On the way back to the airport, the shuttle bus was TINY with no room for bag storage. I was travelling with my wife and two small kids so we had a lot of luggage. I ended up having to load it all onto the back seats myself while the driver sat on his phone texting and never even offered to help. 😂
The room we had was spacious but seen better days. Breakfast was good.
Overall, it was a mixed bag but certainly wouldn't stay there again.

Sort of disappointed around the location of the hotel with the airport. It requires a taxi and the bus stop that Google recommends does not exist without pre-booking with the public transport.
The shuttle is limited for certain times of the day.
Rooms are adequate, riddled with dead mosquitos. We were lucky none were alive but their bodies were everywhere. Did not want to open any doors or windows to make sure none came in.
Do not bother with the hotel restaurant, we sat down and waited 30 minutes for someone to take our order. After trying to flag down one of the two staff several times we decided to get up and walk away, opting to order delivery of external food.
Restaurant during our visit only had 2 options; cheese and pasta, no other dishes available.
Would not come back and would stay in bologna centre.

the night shift receptionist was not friendly. Once I got my room I called back to the reception to inform that water from the shower came out brown and she said it was because the water bomb was changed and that I had to let it run, this should have been informed while doing the check in, but I also informed that there were plenty of ants walking in the night table right beside the pillow and that I did not want to sleep there, even tho I got another room I did not get a “I’m sorry about this” from the receptionist at all, she sounded mad because I made her work double for something is not acceptable in a “4 stars” hotel. The new room I got for this problem was smaller and smelled very bad, but as it was late and I was tired I did not have more energy to complain again and walk again the long distance to the reception with all my luggage (I was expecting something better for all the inconvenience)

Free shuttle to airport is very poor. It works only in the morning and late night I had to be at the airport at 8pm and it was not available at that time so I had to take a taxi that charges 12 euros for 1.5km

Not easily accessible from the airport on foot, short taxi ride was required. Shuttle bus is on offer but don't expect any help with your luggage. Rooms are tired and need updating. Bathroom condition was very poor and mould was present.

I have only positive things to say about the bar and restaurant staff. They are obviously short handed, but they hustle, and are exceptionally pleasant, given those circumstances.
The front desk staff, however, were less than welcoming, and very cold. We had an issue with our air conditioning not functioning, and instead of telling us that it was off season for AC, they sent a bellman/maintenance man to our room to tell us it doesn't work because it is not hot enough outside. Our room was 80° f. That made it difficult to sleep, which obviously is a problem when you are flight crew with an early flight. Interestingly enough, the other captain's room did have air conditioning, so where lies the truth? Idk, but if we never need to stay there again, that would be fine by me.
The bed has outlived its usefulness. It was so bouncy, and squeaky, again not qualities for a restful night's sleep.

The breakfast is sufficient. The rooms neat and clean.

Room is good enough and there's no better option near the airport. Only problem is that if you arrive after 23:30 your only option is taxi. Overall the room was clean but nothing special. The room as pretty dark and silent, great for resting.
