Bologna, Via Ferrarese 164 🧭 Map
The hotel is well connected by public transport, the rooms was clean, well maintained and the breakfast was amazing. They had the best bakery section, and coffee.
Just fabulous ...Staff were so professional and welcoming. Room perfect and bed soooo comfortable Breakfast delicous even catering for vegans. Cant wait to go back again. Idealy situated for visiting City with bus stop directly outside Hotel! 2 Euro
The politeness of the staff and the resultingly excellent quality of service really made my stay there very enjoyable. In addition, the breakfast offers some amazing choices. Room Service is great, too. Lastly, I forgot something in my room and they went above and beyond to return it to me. Thanks a lot to the entire team.
Great hotel, really enjoyed our stay! Highlights would be the great showers and the great breakfast. Easy free parking as well. Note that it is about 10 to 15 min drive into the center or a bus ride.
An excellent, inexpensive hotel. The rooms are clean and cleaned frequently. Recommend for budget travel
An excellent option, but only an impression from a one-day stay. Pros: price, good plumbing, the room has an electric kettle, tea and coffee bags, freshly squeezed orange juice for breakfast, good breakfast, public transport stop nearby, parking. Of the minuses: the area is too small for a triple. I recommend.

Can I Just Move In Already? The Social Hub is a Dream! Oh. My. God. I flipping love this place. I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect when I booked, but now I genuinely wish I could move in. The Social Hub is everything I never knew I needed in a stay—sustainability, community, and comfort, all in one incredibly well-thought-out space. Let’s start with the bed—oh my days, the most comfortable thing...
Simple but nice place to stay. Beds are comfortable and rooms have what you need. Design is very clean and simple. Service from the staff is great and they are very welcoming. The place have some co-working area which looked nice. Almost wanted to work from here… Also have a free gym.
Overall pleasant stay, good rooms and excellent amenities with a lively mix of students, workers and travellers that gave it a proper community hub feel. Right next to the station which is both a plus and a minus, the area has an unflattering reputation and although I never felt unsafe during the day I did take advice not to explore after dark as a solo female traveller. There were some odd quirks...
Absolutely amazing hotel - a clean room, with good choice of coffee capsules, comfortable bed and pillows, good pressure of the hot water. Location is great - 5 minutes from the Marconi Airport Express Station and 7-8 minutes from the city centre. The staff was perfect, smiling and polite! Definitely I will stay again!
Beautifully designed hotel in the immediate vicinity of the main railway station. Despite its proximity to the main railway station, the hotel is in a quiet location. With its design, the hotel primarily appeals to young people and people who are young at heart. The staff are very, very friendly and very, very nice. The food and snacks in the hotel's own restaurant are very tasty and you don't have...
Pretty pricey for a one night stay (close to $150). So 4 stars. Location is great since it is 5 minutes away from the train station; it was a little confusing navigating so you have to take the underground tunnel, up the stairs, and walk to the right exit. The room we stayed in had a place to cook. This was basically an apartment. Check in process Is a little long. Great little place to socialize...

The Mercure Bologna Centro is very well located, just across the street from the main train station, making it incredibly convenient for travel. It’s also only a manageable 20-minute walk to the Piazza Maggiore, so you’re close enough to the main attractions without being right in the hustle and bustle. For a Mercure property, this hotel is surprisingly nice. The rooms are modern, clean, and cozy...
Great location near the train station. We used as a base to travel to florence and San Marino so perfect location. 15 minute walk into centre if bologna and 10 to main restaurants. Staff were attentive and service was exceptional. Room was clean and modern. Really happy with our stay.
Really enjoyed the stay. Spotlessly clean. Staff really great & friendly. It’s a great location to base yourself in for day trips nearby. Close to the Autostrade, etc. On the negative side, the Car park entrance was difficult to find initially. This could be better explained on the website. Lift from car park wasn’t working when we arrived so had to carry cases up the stairs. Apart from those minor...
I stayed for a short time at this hotel and the staff were amazing. It is conveniently located near the train for quick arrival and departures. Suzanne at the front desk was amazing. She was quick, kind, and courteous with a great sense of humor. Matteo at the bar was absolutely wonderful. He was knowledgeable, skilled, and wonderful to converse with. The stay started as a one night that extended...
Well located, with Bologne train station across the street, lots of places too eat open until late hours and easy acess to bus terminal(s). The staff is really nice and kind and the rooms are well cleaned and have a 55 inch tv. The breakfast has a lot of options and every room has a mini bar with sodas included. Comfortable beds and, overall, would recommend
Good location, a brisk stroll to the main part of the old town, ideal if traveling by train (opposite the central station) but parking was easy too (there is an underground parking which is expensive, but we found ample parking on the street within 100-200m from the hotel. Nice public areas, renovated rooms are ok too. For an Italian city centre hotel it is not bad.

I really enjoyed and loved this hotel, the reception staff were very cooperative especially Mr. Rami, the hotel was very clean. The breakfast was awesome, I wish I will visit again
Last week, we stayed at this hotel for two nights and were very satisfied with the service. It's a modern, new hotel with big, clean rooms. The positive points that we enjoyed the most were the easy check-in, friendly staff, rooms, parking (outside and indoor), good breakfast, and the amazing location, which helps tourists easily reach the city center, old town, and restaurants for dinner.
I recently stayed at this hotel for a business trip and, while the overall stay was pleasant, the experience at the reception was extremely disappointing. **Positives:** The hotel itself is nice, with modern amenities and clean rooms. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast—it was varied, fresh, and well-prepared, a great start to the day. The location is also ideal for business travelers, especially...
Three night stay and would happily return. The rooms are spacious, clean, have a pleasant design. The beds are 180cm wide, sheets are great. Cleaning is of high standard. However, bear in mind that this hotel seems to cater mostly for nearby conference centers, so it’s not very leisurely. Though it seems that no hotels in Bologna have a pool anyway. The garden area is nice though and the bar serves...
The staff and rooms were great. The majority of the staff were very personable and approachable even for foreign travellers. The breakfast provided was one of the nicest hotel buffet breakfasts I've had in a while, offering everything from bacon and eggs, to cold cuts and breakfast pastries. It's a little far out from Old Town for tourist trips but perfect for the Bologna Fiere
The hotel is just in an amazing position during the showtime of Cosmoprof. Great position, with great people support. I hope the room will be revamped in the future to increase quality and modernization

Amazing food and service. Nice rooms, comfortable bed. OK position. Taxi to the city center is cca 15€.
Good middle class hotel. Quiet rooms, breakfast variety good but taste not as good as home made. Friendly reception staff. Not as clean as wished (stains on corridor floor, grooves in bathroom tiles darkened)
Decent Novotel. AC not working although fixed it stopped again. Nice pool area. Easy to find and easy for traveling around (if you have a car!)
Loved the room. Matras was a bit on the hard side. But the bathroom as new.. Take a room with a bath tub and enjoy. Minibar is packed so never thursty. Own restaurant for evening diner is good with enough on the menu to choose from. Breakfast is good but variaty is medium. Missing fresh bred, but thy have nice pastry instead. Nice business hotel close to the Bologna trade centre (Bologna Fiera). Comfortable hall with facilities for quick business meetings. Great restaurant with very good service and food.

Great hotel in Bologna. Accessible from the tanginzale ring road. Had on-site parking. Lovely staff and rooms were great. Nice and quiet and comfortable beds. We had breakfast as well which contained a good variety. Definitely would stay again if going too Bologna. Highly recommended.
Overall good experience and recomendable for guests arriving by car but even those arriving by train will find good bus connections every few minutes plus a 7 min walk from either bus stop. One star deduction on each item for minor shortfalls: our room (on 17) had a superb view over the skyline and was close to the gym on the 18th. On the other hand, if you happen to have inconsiderate neighbors,...
For such a price it’s great. 130€ for the room with two separate beds in italy it’s a gem. Obviously it has its downside, like there were a small spider web in the room, the walls are scratched, everything seems to be a little “used”. And by that I mean there was a cheap maintenance of all this. But being honest you don’t expect new rooms ( 44 sq m) for less than 200€ in italy. And even so even many...

100% would go back here. My partner was sick the night we stayed and the staff was kind enough to give us as much help as they could. For me service is the most important thing especially in a yike of being sick in a foreign country
The hotel is at a great location, both the exterior and the interior design are great. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food quality and the variety were good. The only downside is the room was way too hot. I would definitely recommend staying here, it’s an even above quality for what you pay for.
A nice place to stay, the rooms are a little bit older, but Clean and all in good shape. Only the hot water in the shower was shortly a bit rusty, because of an damaged Pipe, which was repaired. The breakfast is really nice, with a big variance to choose from. The service at all was great, really friendly stuff, thanks.
Good sized rooms, nice tub in the bathroom and a really good breakfast. Everything you can ask for in a hotel. Convenient parking under the hotel (though not included in the booking, the price is low (ten EUR? Can't remember, but certainly nothing obscene)). It's a large hotel, so you might end up, as we did, having a little hike from the elevator to the room, so those with heavy luggage might want...

5 mins from Bologna airport. Free shuttle bus to airport. Was warmly greeted at reception by Alice. Impeccable English, she checked us in chatted about our journey up to Bologna. Altogether a really great experience...
General view: - Good hotel for a night. If you're going to take an early flight. - Cleaning needs to be improved. - Difficult to find pickup area on airport. We're just for a night. We tried to search for the transfer pick-up point but unfortunately didn't find it and were waiting in the wrong place. For our luck, we saw the transfer, and the driver picked us up even if we're in the wrong place. ...
Sort of disappointed around the location of the hotel with the airport. It requires a taxi and the bus stop that Google recommends does not exist without pre-booking with the public transport. The shuttle is limited for certain times of the day. Rooms are adequate, riddled with dead mosquitos. We were lucky none were alive but their bodies were everywhere. Did not want to open any doors or windows...
Not exactly what I was expecting. Booked using a reputable website and sent messages for three days before eventually calling to get a reply. That should have been my warning! On the way back to the airport, the shuttle bus was TINY with no room for bag storage. I was...
Not easily accessible from the airport on foot, short taxi ride was required. Shuttle bus is on offer but don't expect any help with your luggage. Rooms are tired and need updating. Bathroom condition was very poor and mould was present.
Room is good enough and there's no better option near the airport. Only problem is that if you arrive after 23:30 your only option is taxi. Overall the room was clean but nothing special. The room as pretty dark and silent, great for resting.

Thank you for a wonderful experience.
Excellent hotel, congratulations!!! It is located right across from the main station in Bologna, and still retains its beauty, peace, and cleanliness. Great value and location, extremely close to public transport (trains and buses) and a supermarket. Warm, professional, friendly staff are also highlights. The rooms, however, are in desperate need of refurbishment. The AC barely works, even after a "fix" and room change, so their central AC is certainly insufficient and/or broken. It actually gets too hot for blankets at night. Same for the minibar...

Great Location and a very good Hotel with all common facilities and services were Good. Rooms are very spacious, neat & clean well maintained, Washrooms are also very good and great maintained. Good restaurant and bar which serve great foods and beverages.

Excellent rooms. Nice and helpful reception. Helped us with everything from bus schedule to ordering taxis and recommending restaurants. If you can afford taxis to and from the city this hotel will work perfectly. But if you want to rely on busses they don't depart super often.

Location is great. Noise level is a bit loud. Coming at change of seasons - with global warming - October 27th-31st - it's hot and humid with no air conditioner in rooms because they switched to heat only. Thank goodness they gave us a fan. Otherwise, we'd sweat the entire time. The hotel is nice enough, but that's our biggest complaint.
We were on a short break from the UK and wanted a hotel within walking distance of the centre, this hotel was ideal. Also because it was so close to the main railway station it was very easy to get to and from the airport. We just caught the Marconi Express direct to the station and walked about 200 metres to the hotel. Cost of ticket is between 10 to 12€.
Excellent stay in Bologna. Perfect hotel location. Only a few steps from city center and the central railway station. Comfortable family room and satisfactory hotel facilities. Excellent cleanliness and hotel staff. Has nothing to envy from nh collection series. We will come back...!
Great location if you are doing day trips out of Bologna as it’s extremely close to the train station. It would be nice if the hotel had an area to refill water bottles. We asked the bar staff who were happy to do so. Room is spacious and clean with air conditioning which you can control.
Stayed in a family, interconnecting room. It was comfy and very clean. The only negative is that the door between rooms are very narrow. Breakfast was tasty, with hot and cold options. I really liked the healthy corner. Staff very polite and helpful. Good location, great for exploring Bologna on foot. Would stay again for sure.
We spent 3 nights at this NH in mid July (12-15th) and we had one big issue: AC didn't really work. It was hard to sleep with the room likely being around 30C. The hotel is about a 20 minute walk from the central station and 40 minutes to the center. There are also nearby bus stops if you want to save some time.
We stayed here as a big group on 16 august 2024. What a great hotel.. the rooms are extremely clean, the beds are huge and there are many extra amenities that you can use. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is one of the best I ever saw in a hotel. Overall a very big pleasure to have stayed in this place!

We stayed there the 'Capodanno' night. The location was good, close to the train station, and the service and cleanliness were OK. However, it was too expensive (70€ per person in shared rooms for a group of 11 people)

The hotel is absolutely beautiful and the staff so very friendly. Our room was lovely with a modern decor and a terrace. The breakfast was amazing and so full of choices. I loved the rooftop bar where their is a breath taking view. Our server and bartender became friends quickly. I highly recommend this hotel as I will always stay here when in Bologna.
We stayed here for 3 nights. The room was spacious and very clean. The rooftop terrace is a nice bonus. The location in Bologna is very good. The staff is extraordinarily kind and helpful. They anticipate what you might need and suggest it before you may actually need it. This hotel is great and totally worth it.

The hotel is very far from the city center and the touristic area. Even though it has a bus stop close by, maybe 3 minutes walk, the bus service in that area was terrible and so many times we had to walk long distances to another station to catch a bus. Plus, during the weekend, the bus that takes you to the Central Station is not on. This really sucked. The hotel was ok, the beds were really good...
My family stayed here for a couple on nights. The staff was welcoming. The room was clean and well maintained. The location is a little out of the way relative to the city center (accessible by bus). The shopping center across the street came in handy on several occasions. The reason that I'm taking the time to write this review is because of the breakfast buffet. There was a wide variety of...
Overall it’s a fine place with nice rooms and decent breakfast. The room was comfy, with nice bed and a choice of pillows. All basic stuff was there, cleaned daily. The rooms cerę pretty quiet, maybe sometime at night it was possible to hear somebody snoring but it wasn’t a big deal overall. My main concern is the location. It’s located really outside the city but near the shopping center with some...
The hotel is located in good place, right in front of the hotel you have shopping mall and some reastaurants, also nearby 3 min walking is Mc'Donalds. There are 2 bus line passing near the hotel which is sending you to the city center. Also Hotel have its own open air parking for cars.
Location awful as no convenient public transport and taxis booked by hotel could take a long time and varied in price drastically. Reception very poor service with no information or wrong information regarding public buses. Restaurant staff extremely friendly and helpful. Room OK but a big hand painted on wardrobe door was quite scary 😨 decor awful
The service and room were not bad. Bed was clean and comfortable, and everyone we interacted with was very nice and accommodating. One thing was that the AC turned off in the middle of the night, and the room got hot enough to wake us up. More issuses come into play with the "restaurant" and shower. The shower had mold gowing on the doors. The shower head system was falling apart. My partner had to...
