The room was small, however cute and pleasant, just a lot of dust!! Only two charges ( with one in the bathroom) the third one was broken and pushed into the wall !! We stayed 2 nights in this hotel before our "Via Degli Dei" hiking trip. We had a great time here. The room was very clean, there was airconditioning, the breakfast was good, the location was perfect (but for some people maybe a little bit too far from the route?!), and we were warmly welcomed and assisted by the staff. The hotel is a very good choice for your money. It has good amenities for the price. The rooms are clean and the breakfast below average. The only downsize is that is located at the city edge, but is a safe and quiet zone. Also, the station for the 25 bus line is located just in front the hotel, that will take you to Bologna Stazione Centrale train station, about 20 minutes of travel.

Hotel Imperial in Bologna is located around 10 minutes by car to the airport. There is a bus stop nearby that can take visitors to the city center. The room is clean and convenient enough. Free parking, which is a rare comodity in Italy. Helpful staff, ok hotel. EDIT: after three years I'm again in this hotel and I can see they updated and renovated the rooms. The staff is helpful. Relatively good prices for a hotel bar. They still offer free parking, and the hotel is located near highway so it's a practical place for stay in tranzit.

I had a good experience here. At first glance, the lobby is quite nice and the staff was friendly. They said hello as soon as we walked in. The room and bathroom were clean and spacious.
