Bologna, Via dell'Indipendenza, 69 🧭 Map
Good place to have a good quality affordable and fast pasta, I mean it’s fast food but still a very good option if you are heading to the train station and want to grab something decent to eat without paying a full fare restaurant
Visited for breakfast, atmosphere was very cosy and fancy, the food was an average
We went here last night and had a fantastic evening. The. He’d even came out and meet us which was a. Lovely touch the highly food wise was the sweetbreads which were incredible. The waiters were all excellent from start to Finnish it was up there with the best service I’ve ever received. If your in Bologna and you like fine dining this is not one to miss.
Perfect!
questo hotel si trova vicino alla stazione di Bologna Centrale e non lontano dal centro della città di Bologna, l'architettura di questo hotel ha attirato la mia attenzione e ho voluto fotografarlo, condivido le mie foto This hotel is located next to Bologna Centrale station and not far from the city center of Bologna, the architecture of this hotel attracted my attention and I wanted to photograph...
Modern hotel in an ancient palazzo. Comfortable room with a beautiful view of the park, stairs and terraces. Wonderful breakfasts in a beautiful room. Attentive friendly staff. Room cleaning twice a day. The Internet is a little slow, but this is a small thing against an overall very good background.

The hotel has nothing to do with 4 starts. Neither rooms nor service. I wouldn’t give it more than 2 stars. We came back to our room late in the evening, encountered there a leak from the above floor, wet ceiling and wall. We had to move to another room after 22 pm with a little child and it was less comfortable room with non functioning lock. Seems inappropriate. The location of the hotel is quite...
I had a good experience here. At first glance, the lobby is quite nice and the staff was friendly. They said hello as soon as we walked in. The room and bathroom were clean and spacious. The breakfast buffet had many options and was tasty. This hotel was a short walk from the train station, so it was a perfect option for my early morning train.
If you want to stay by the train station, this hotel is in the ideal location. Breakfast is good and a fairly reasonable price. Rooms are clean. However, walls must be made of paper, and you can hear everything in the room next door. When this issue was reported to reception, they could only apologies that this was the problem with the hotel! So don't expect to get much sleep if you have noisy neighbours
Great hotel 6-7 minutes away from Bologna Centrale but far away from restaurants. The room was small but nice. The bathroom was spacious. One of the guys in the reception was not customer oriented at all. Bring your travel iron, there is not iron in the room and they don't provide it. I had to iron my clothes in the laundry room in the basement
Great Hotel, location near to train station. Very spacious and clean room and bathroom with all basic amenities, comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast.
Tiny rooms, the breakfast is very expensive. The only good thing is that it’s next to the train station.

Lovely hotel very near to downtown in a very old building. Oh, and they provide L'Occitane cosmetics in the rooms!
Such great staff. Beautiful room with a nice balcony overlooking a beautiful part of the city. Best location
Nice well priced hotel in good location
Though we arrived later than the standard check-in time the room was not cleaned. In addition, there was a sheet underneath the blanket and the blanket felt like it has not been washed for a while. So feeling the dirty blanket over your nose is not a comfortable feeling at all. Why not a proper bed sheet etc? The location is good, close to the centre of attraction. The reception guy did not speak any...
Cute and with character. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the location is superb (5 min. from Piazza Maggiore). The parking is practical but could be a bit cheaper, if not already included in the price. Breakfast is really nice, but the coffee could be a better. The staff is friendly and helpful.
Try room 401. Room with a view. Very helpful staff.

Best for the price and location you can find!!! Hotel is located close to the train station and the city center , exactly on the main street with shops. Right behind the hotel is a big square with street market with good prices - clothes, shoes etc. Lift available and working. Double room size - Ok. Bed mattress is very soft and still OK. Bathroom very narrow so for big guys will be difficult to take...
The property is in a great location, just far enough away from the train station to avoid noise and congestion but close enough to easily catch trains. Easily walkable to historical centre and heaps of cafes. The rooms themselves are modest, the showers, mouldy and the bedspread, grubby. We were in a room facing the main road but the windows have double glazing so this cut out pretty much all of the...
I was a little nervous about this hotel after reading some of the reviews, but none of negative comments seemed to be accurate except the room sizes. 1) Rooms are small, but nicely decorated and clean. No noise. I was on the 5th floor too and away from the street a bit. 2) Breakfast is good. It can be hard to find protein for breakfast in Europe in general and when I read some of the comments I expected...
A big plus for the location (500m from center), the garage house is right behind the hotel and you have to pay for it separately. Breakfast very poor, not much choice. English is not exactly at the level of a tourist town.
The air conditioner is fake! I opened the window and slept like on a construction site. It was my worst night in Italy.
Nice hotel, nice breakfast great position!

If you can live without having WiFi, this was a great boutique hotel. However, i was working remotely during my trip to Italy and my room had terrible, terrible WiFi, which was sometimes non-existent. The hotel staff suggested that I work in the library/living room area where the WiFi was better. I had to work during the late night due to time zone changes, which made it difficult to work in a...
Thank you for a wonderful stay. Really nice employees and service. Singing my birthday song last night. Fabulous view over the fireworks. Nice clean historical rooms. And wonderful breakfast. We look forward coming back next weekend🎈🇮🇹🍷
We had a wonderful 9-day stay here. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The rooms clean and updated. The rooftop lounge was lovely -- a quiet respite during the day, coming alive evenings. The breakfast buffet was extensive and yummy -- delicious creamy eggs, thin-sliced small zucchini, local salumi and prosciutto...and a dessert table! It's not far from the center and all the sights, but...
parking outside the hotel itself/ getting there by car was a little tricky, but the staff was absolutely lovely, all smiles, so helpful, talkative and help reccomend us places to eat. The rooms are good, not mind-blowing but a great bathroom (if you ignore that the bathroom door doesnt have a lock which we found strange) and functional "main room" great aircon which felt perfect after a long day in...
We stayed in a junior suite in the newly renovated building and it was beautiful! Kind sized bed, very comfy. Large tub/shower combo. Beautifully decorated. Friendly bilingual staff. Large breakfast selection. 5 min walk to Piazza Maggiore. Very quite location. Small but lovely roof top terrace ( there is a fee to go the terrace and must reserve a table)
Comfortable, spacious and modern rooms! Very friendly staff and close to the main attractions in Bologna. Thoroughly enjoyed our time here!

The politeness of the staff and the resultingly excellent quality of service really made my stay there very enjoyable. In addition, the breakfast offers some amazing choices. Room Service is great, too. Lastly, I forgot something in my room and they went above and beyond to return it to me. Thanks a lot to the entire team.

Nice place to stay
A nice place to stay. Renovated with warm rooms. It is located a little bit far away from the city centre but the bus stop is very close to the hotel. The personnel us very polite. The only disadvantage is the poor sound isolation of the rooms. We could hear the TV from the next room.
Very clean and spacious room. 24/7 coffee. Great breakfast.
Sicuramente ci torneremo.

The location of this hotel is not far away from the entrance to the old town but the price was really nice. The pictures on there websites (booking.com) are not actuall so the room was older and no so pretty but still is was clean and quiet. The bathroom was modern. Beautifully designed hotel in the immediate vicinity of the main railway station. Despite its proximity to the main railway station, the hotel is in a quiet location. With its design, the hotel primarily appeals to young people and people who are young at heart. The staff are very, very friendly and very, very nice. The food and snacks in the hotel's own restaurant are very tasty and you don't have...
Pretty pricey for a one night stay (close to $150). So 4 stars. Location is great since it is 5 minutes away from the train station; it was a little confusing navigating so you have to take the underground tunnel, up the stairs, and walk to the right exit. The room we stayed in had a place to cook. This was basically an apartment. Check in process Is a little long. Great little place to socialize...
I really like the modern and sustainable ideas of the hotel. Reception colleagues were very friendly and welcoming. 'Hotel del Borgo' is a nice hotel in Borgo Panigale. It is especially convenient if you are out for work. Perfect location if you need to go to Ducati of course. There is a shopping mall nearby, where you can buy whatever needed or find a cheap restaurant where to eat out.
The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was OK, but a bit small, and a couple of things were in need of a fix (a light switch, the shower's sliding doors). There were free parking lots, but not that many, and the access to them was very narrow, it took me quite some steering work to get out of there with my estate car. The location is good if one needs to visit the industrial area near Borgo...
We, a family of four, stayed one night in July 2023 in a family bedroom. The room was nice and clean. The AC however made an irritating noise which made it hard to sleep. We had breakfast and it was rather small but still nice.

Well located, with Bologne train station across the street, lots of places too eat open until late hours and easy acess to bus terminal(s). The staff is really nice and kind and the rooms are well cleaned and have a 55 inch tv. The breakfast has a lot of options and every room has a mini bar with sodas included. Comfortable beds and, overall, would recommend
Good location, a brisk stroll to the main part of the old town, ideal if traveling by train (opposite the central station) but parking was easy too (there is an underground parking which is expensive, but we found ample parking on the street within 100-200m from the hotel. Nice public areas, renovated rooms are ok too. For an Italian city centre hotel it is not bad.
My experience at the mercure was excellent. The staff were friendly & helpful & remembered me each day as I came through the lobby. My room was updated and lovely. Location is convenient if you want to use Bologna as a hub and plan to use the trains a lot. It’s about a 20min walk into “old town” which is okay during the day but at night after dinner and drinks feels longer and quite dark.
Excellent location opposite the main railway station. About 10 minutes wall to the main square. Room had a garden view with nespresso machine and complimentary water. Could have done with a fresh lick of paint. Breakfast disappointing. Coffee machine broken with staff making no attempt to supply hot drinks to guests.
Well positioned right opposite the train station and within walking distance (15min) from city center. Room overlooked the back garden which was nice and hoped tranquil as well. But each day there were works of outside refurbishment with much noise (when finished it will be excellent). Room interior design was simple uninteresting and floor not very clean. I really enjoyed and loved this hotel, the reception staff were very cooperative especially Mr. Rami, the hotel was very clean. The breakfast was awesome, I wish I will visit again
Last week, we stayed at this hotel for two nights and were very satisfied with the service. It's a modern, new hotel with big, clean rooms. The positive points that we enjoyed the most were the easy check-in, friendly staff, rooms, parking (outside and indoor), good breakfast, and the amazing location, which helps tourists easily reach the city center, old town, and restaurants for dinner.
I recently stayed at this hotel for a business trip and, while the overall stay was pleasant, the experience at the reception was extremely disappointing. **Positives:** The hotel itself is nice, with modern amenities and clean rooms. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast—it was varied, fresh, and well-prepared, a great start to the day. The location is also ideal for business travelers, especially...
Good hotel for one or more nights stay in Bologna. Indoor parking too.
Three night stay and would happily return. The rooms are spacious, clean, have a pleasant design. The beds are 180cm wide, sheets are great. Cleaning is of high standard. However, bear in mind that this hotel seems to cater mostly for nearby conference centers, so it’s not very leisurely. Though it seems that no hotels in Bologna have a pool anyway.
