I had an excellent stay at the Ambasciatori Hotel in Florence! The location is unbeatable, right across from the train station and within walking distance of major attractions. The room was spacious, modern, and very comfortable, with thoughtful details like complimentary refreshments and a large balcony offering fantastic views. The breakfast was superb, offering a variety of fresh options, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The hotel was clean and stylish, making it a perfect base for exploring Florence. Highly recommend for both convenience and comfort!

One of the staff members, Yukiko was so friendly and helped us with any questions we had. Rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast buffet was nice and had a good selection. Hotel is right next to the central train station and walking distance to the main attractions.

Horrible experience!
My family and I had the most unpleasant and unacceptable experience at this hotel. Not only was the hotel room far from clean, I woke up covered in bed bug bites all over my body. This hotel has extremely poor hygiene and a complete lack of maintenance.
Instead of staying in a safe and comfortable environment, I was subjected to what can only be described as a health hazard. Bed bugs are not only disgusting but an absolutely nightmare to deal with. I’m now left with itching, inconvenience and scars all over. It looks like I have a skin disease
For a hospitality business this level of negligence is utterly inexcusable. I would even consider calling the health department to do an investigation. Please avoid this hotel at all cost unless you want to pay an expensive trip to the hospital/clinic to cure the itch and your mental for choosing here!
I hope the manager or someone in charge would immediately get this sorted to avoid customers from getting it and amend the damages that has fall upon my family and I.

The experience at C-Ambasciatori Hotel in Florence had its ups and downs, so it’s worth booking with clear expectations. It might be a good choice if you're prioritizing value for the location.
Pros:
The hotel’s location is a big win—it's within walking distance of Florence’s main sights and just inside the ZTL zone, so getting around is easy. Public transport options like the tram and train are conveniently close, and there are plenty of restaurants and shops in the area.
Cons:
Cleanliness, unfortunately, didn’t meet expectations. Our room wasn’t properly cleaned upon arrival, particularly the bathroom(toilet), which was disappointing. Some areas of the room were visibly worn—old wallpaper peeling, and door frames showing exposed wood. On top of that, we had an unpleasant surprise with silverfish sightings in the bathroom at night, making us feel uneasy.
When we reported the toilet issue to the reception, the response was a bit unexpected. Although they sent someone to take care of it, the initial attitude felt off, as if we should’ve flagged it immediately rather than resting after a long journey.
Check-in itself was a bit chaotic; the staff seemed stretched thin, juggling multiple things at once. We waited nearly half an hour due to what looked like a busy period. Also, keep in mind that check-in times are strict—don’t expect much flexibility for an early check-in.
Overall, the hotel could be a reasonable option if the price is right, but be mindful of these details if you’re considering a stay.

Great location and breakfast. the hotel is next to the train station. I got a single room (one double bed) and the room was spacious. Even though it’s next to the elevator, the room was quiet. It faces the back of the hotel, so no views but also no road noise. The bed was a little hard though. Breakfast was great. The room has air condition.

Great location across from the train makes this the easiest option to drop your bags off and walk the streets. Staff is very friendly. Marco came up to check on our AC That wasn’t working. He helped us get a new room and made us feel taken care of. No question, we would come back here.

The hotel was clean and the staff very friendly and competent both at the reception and at breakfast. The central location makes it possible to reach the main sights on foot.

The worst Hotel I have ever been.
Very dirty, old fashioned and dusty.
We were dropped here, because the hotel, we actually booked on the same day we arrived were closed on 2 floors. The receptionist told us, there are renovations going around or something else. We didn’t understand her, because her English was very bad, but other guests entered the hallway and went upstairs to their rooms. We think it’s a trick, because we booked on the same day and she just told us, when we arrived, no email or call in front. No excuse. We think they overbook the other nice looking and newer hotels like Joy Hotel and Diplomat Hotel and move the guest to the Ambassadors hotel, to fill out the rooms here. We will never book this hotel group again, be careful.
