Great place to stay in Bologna. Close to everything in the historical center of town and just a couple of blocks from the train station. The basic room was spacious and well appointed. Very comfortable bed and pillows

Good TV, AC, bath with walk in shower. There is also a great breakfast, nice swimming pool and small but good fitness center

There appears to be a good vibe throughout, so definitely recommend it for big groups. The price was excellent for the amenities that it offers, the swimming pool was big and well kept

We couldn’t choose a better place to stay in Bologna! It has a youth character and design, a lot of facilities (gym, computer hub, table tennis etc) and very helpful and smiling staff

The hotel altogether was very clean. the showers were excellent as well. Very close to the train station which was a huge bonus for me, but roughly 10 to 15 minute walk into the city

The hotel has a cool vibe, it is a fancy mix of coworking, fitness, pool and bar. Like the design! Will definitely consider to come back on my next trip to Bologna

Good location, a brisk stroll to the main part of the old town, ideal if traveling by train (opposite the central station) but parking was easy too (there is an underground parking which is expensive, but we found ample parking on the street within 100-200m from the hotel

Nice public areas, renovated rooms are ok too. For an Italian city centre hotel it is not bad

My experience at the mercure was excellent. The staff were friendly & helpful & remembered me each day as I came through the lobby. My room was updated and lovely

It’s about a 20min walk into “old town” which is okay during the day but at night after dinner and drinks feels longer and quite dark

Location is convenient if you want to use Bologna as a hub and plan to use the trains a lot

Excellent location opposite the main railway station. About 10 minutes wall to the main square. Room had a garden view with nespresso machine and complimentary water. Could have done with a fresh lick of paint

On my birthday they surprised me with a delicious chocolate cake for breakfast! Location is just perfect for both business and holiday travelers alike. You really cannot fault it in anything

The Grand Hotel Majestic gia Baglioni is a fantastic hotel to stay at in Bologna, particularly for first time visitors. The location is close to virtually all major sights in Bologna

The courtyard where you can eat transports you back to a prior time. The location is central to everything. The train station is a 15 walk. We will return for our next stay in Bologna

Outdoor Parking on site next to the hotel. There was one free spot, just in case at the reception, take the car keys, if necessary, to rearrange. On the main street to the center 5 minutes

Good place to have a good quality affordable and fast pasta, I mean it’s fast food but still a very good option if you are heading to the train station and want to grab something decent to eat without paying a full fare restaurant

Great hotel! We choose this hotel because it has chargers for electric cars (Tesla) and stayed there for one night on our way from Rome to the Netherlands. What a pleasant surprise! Lovely hotel with very nice staff

The Imperial room on the 5th floor is fantastic. Huge, with a staircase leading to the roof, with views across Bologna. There's also a rooftop mini gym and sauna (private), dining table and chairs, deckchair

The waiters were all excellent from start to Finnish it was up there with the best service I’ve ever received. If your in Bologna and you like fine dining this is not one to miss

We chose to stay at Hotel NH Bologna De La Gare because it is a 5 minute walk from the station, and we arrived in Bologna by train and had a large suitcase with us, so its close proximity to the station suited our needs perfectly

Stayed in a family, interconnecting room. The only negative is that the door between rooms are very narrow. Breakfast was tasty, with hot and cold options. I really liked the healthy corner. Staff very polite and helpful

This is not the fault of the hotel of course but as we expected the area around the station felt quite seedy after dark

The hotel is perfectly located - within a couple of minutes of the railway station and no more than ten from the centre of Bologna. The reception staff were really helpful and the room spacious, spotless and very quiet

While the hotel was outside Central Bologna, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here! First, the owner stayed up late (1 AM) to check me in because my plane was delayed many hours

Luxurious hotel close to the center of Bologna! It is really gorgeous, with amazing decoration and super detailed. It has Gym and anything you need for a good stay... I really loved the gym.

The acoustic was very good and everything was very comfortable! I went there on a very snowy day, yet there were no inconveniences related to the poor weather conditions! Very close to the train station, this hotel is especially comfortable for people moving around by train

Great hotel centrally located- across from the train station and a 10 minute walk to the centre. The rooms are spacious and breakfast, which is provided by Eataly, had good selection

Great stay and less than a minute away stepping out of the central station. Great gentleman staff very welcoming upon late arrival. Next day when asking for late check out, the lady staff offered till 1pm

One of the best breakfast bar I’ve had in a while - you can find freshly baked goods, hot food like eggs, sausage, bacon, beans, there’s also a fruit bar, juice station, and cereal

Central and opposite the railway station. We had an interior room with no noise. Great breakfast with real coffee if you ask the kitchen staff. Kettle and corkscrew provided in the room.

Nice hotel near the old town in Bologna. Nice staff and clean rooms. Remember to book non smoking room, if you will be sure not to get a room were guests have been smoking.

There are a lot of shops , bars and restaurants. As well as all the museums and dostoprimechatelnosti of the city within walking distance

Nice but unfortunately rooms are a bit smaller then normal, at least those I have seen.

What can I say, the rooms are VERY small. The bathroom is so small it requires a sliding door. The side tables are tiny, the shower is small. For € 99/night it seems like a bad value.

In centre centre...with a parking. Never book a hotel without a parking over there. 4 star ancient style

We always stay here when we visit Bologna. The rooms are spacious and clean and the beds very comfortable. Not to mention it is a very quiet hotel serviced by some amazing staff!

My last stay was in October but I have also stayed here in the summer. Last time I checked (December) it was closed due to the current COVID restrictions in Italy but I hope it reopens soon

The location is good, not too far from the main station (which now has a direct rail link to the airport) and close to the attractions of Bologna and lots of nice restaurants

All safety regulations post COVID are respected and breakfast served to your room (as unfortunately they can't do buffets due to current regulations) it's a nice added plus

The room is very comfortable and has all the amenities necessary (including a pillow bar- where you can ask the reception for a pillow based on your sleeping habits)

Lovely boutique hotel that is convenient to get to city center (15 mins walk to piazza Maggiore). Grateful for the tiny old school lift to bring my bags to the “first floor” - one floor up

There was quite a few options to choose from but we chose Italian and English breakfast. The interior was amazing our room had a really high ceiling with a window and adjustable blinds/curtains as well as AC

We arrived early so our room wasn't ready but there's a nice resting area to hide from the heat and you can leave your luggage at check in before the room is ready to go grab coffee or food at local places

There's also a small supermarket right on the same street to get cold drinks and things. Breakfast buffet was unavailable but in room breakfast was offered instead which was a lovely addition to our trip

Great location! In the middle of the city and close to all the important cites and shops. The rooms in the hotel it self are a bit old and bathrooms are pretty small

It think for this price 100 euro per night it was very good choice for may stay in Bologna. The staff was very kind, especially at breakfast

and a dessert table! It's not far from the center and all the sights, but we loved the immediate neighborhood too -- our favorite is the Salumeria La Bottega that has two small tables if you want to eat-in, the Sorbetteria Castiglione, and Vagh in Ufezzi run by a sweet husband-wife team (reservations a must here)

parking outside the hotel itself/ getting there by car was a little tricky, but the staff was absolutely lovely, all smiles, so helpful, talkative and help reccomend us places to eat

The rooms are good, not mind-blowing but a great bathroom (if you ignore that the bathroom door doesnt have a lock which we found strange) and functional "main room" great aircon which felt perfect after a long day in a warm country

Really nice hotel and great staff too. Stayed here for a weekend, arrived late Friday and were greeted by a lady on the front desk and given all the information we could have needed

The room itself had lots of extras we didn't expect, and was excellent value for money. Mini bar was stocked, ice machines on the hallways, everything in working order

Perfect in the center of Bologna. You can park the car ons small square for €15 the day. It had no elevator
