Good base for visiting Bologna (city centre +/- 25 minutes walk), good facilities (bar, gym, games room and a nice swimming pool). We parked our car in the parking garage below the hotel for 15 euro per day

Can I Just Move In Already? The Social Hub is a Dream! Oh. I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect when I booked, but now I genuinely wish I could move in

But what truly sets The Social Hub apart is the community focus. As a solo traveler, I really appreciate places where you can meet people outside of the usual drinking culture

I also loved all the thoughtful details, like the water tracker in the shower, the sustainable toilet paper, and even the condoms in the room (nice touch!)

Let’s start with the bed—oh my days, the most comfortable thing ever, with so many pillows to curl up in

Just opposite of the Bologna centrale, very clean hotel, nice and spacious rooms, everything is perfect. The most impressive is the way receptionist persons helped me. Especially Francesca she superb helpful .

The Mercure Bologna Centro is very well located, just across the street from the main train station, making it incredibly convenient for travel

Good location, a brisk stroll to the main part of the old town, ideal if traveling by train (opposite the central station) but parking was easy too (there is an underground parking which is expensive, but we found ample parking on the street within 100-200m from the hotel

It’s also only a manageable 20-minute walk to the Piazza Maggiore, so you’re close enough to the main attractions without being right in the hustle and bustle. For a Mercure property, this hotel is surprisingly nice

Great location near the train station. We used as a base to travel to florence and San Marino so perfect location. 15 minute walk into centre if bologna and 10 to main restaurants

Staff really great & friendly. It’s a great location to base yourself in for day trips nearby. On the negative side, the Car park entrance was difficult to find initially. This could be better explained on the website

Luxurious hotel close to the center of Bologna! It is really gorgeous, with amazing decoration and super detailed. It has Gym and anything you need for a good stay... I really loved the gym.

My partner was sick the night we stayed and the staff was kind enough to give us as much help as they could. For me service is the most important thing especially in a yike of being sick in a foreign country

The hotel is at a great location, both the exterior and the interior design are great. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food quality and the variety were good. The only downside is the room was way too hot

It's a large hotel, so you might end up, as we did, having a little hike from the elevator to the room, so those with heavy luggage might want to make use of the bellman from the lobby

We are from SC/USA and have had many spa visits and the massages given by Antonella were the best ever! She was professional, attentive and exceptional in every way

We were welcomed to reception unlike any other hotel we have experienced at Bologna. We chose the upgraded Gold package and its a MUST! Our room is super spacious

We had a wonderful stay at Starhotels Excelsior. The room was small, but comfortable and well-appointed, but what really stood out was the excellent service

The ratio of price and quality is top ten! The only downsides are that late at night due to the proximity of the main station, it might not be the smartest thing to sit alone (although we didn't have any problems or saw any potential problems, there were no suspicious guys, incidents, etc

It looks almost renovated, the staff is very friendly, the rooms are clean and HUGE, the air conditioning works perfectly, the breakfast is very high quality and varied enough

The room was lovely, and the breakfast was great! Also, an amazing Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant is next door, Trattoria di Via Serra. Central Bologna is accessible through public transportation (bus) or walking

While the hotel was outside Central Bologna, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here! First, the owner stayed up late (1 AM) to check me in because my plane was delayed many hours

A very nice boutique hotel 20 min walk to the center and right next to the station. Nice and quiet neighborhood too. The staff was really friendly

We absolutely loved our stay in this boutique hotel. Short walk from the train station and twenty minute walk from the plaza. Room was clean and tidy,cosy sufficient for our two night stay on our little trip of Italy

My only one small if I had to pick was they was no shelf in the actual shower for our products , but not a deal breaker. If you want an authentic stay in an Italian boutique hotel, please give this place a go

The hotel is perfectly located - within a couple of minutes of the railway station and no more than ten from the centre of Bologna. The reception staff were really helpful and the room spacious, spotless and very quiet

Stayed in a family, interconnecting room. The only negative is that the door between rooms are very narrow. Breakfast was tasty, with hot and cold options. I really liked the healthy corner. Staff very polite and helpful

Great location if you are doing day trips out of Bologna as it’s extremely close to the train station. It would be nice if the hotel had an area to refill water bottles. We asked the bar staff who were happy to do so

Despite the history, however, the building is actually in great condition and rooms are well equipped with polished renovations, chromecast TV, and other thoughtful amenities

The Grand Hotel Majestic gia Baglioni is an exemplary 5 star hotel with a perfect location coupled with fabulous staff. We visited the hotel for some drinks when visiting Bologna

Room is nice, spacious and looks vintage. Sevice is ok, breakfast is good, with choices, shower is a 1 star, so small, no hand shower, no soap

We found it was a leisurely 15-20 minute walk to the central area of Bologna and a 5-10 minute walk from the train station which also made it convenient for days trips out of Bologna

There is good shopping and not a long walk to restaurants and the old center of town. Very good choice for us for a city hotel. Reasonable price for excellent room, service and breakfast

Great location near the train station very quiet and ok clean. Breakfast is nice too they have some local stuff for breakfast. Loved the selection of cheese coffee crossoint bread which is your baguette

It's a decent business hotel located very close to the station and also close city centre which made it easy for us to commute easily. checkin was smooth staff was supportive however room service could have been better

The hotel itself is very modern, and very clean with a nice feel to it. The receptionist was very helpful and pleasant to deal with. The room was ready early and they came up to get us from the lounge

I stayed in this hotel for one whole week to attend a summer school at the University of Bologna. The room is spacious, clean, and bright (big windows). The shower and toilet are also very spacious

We stayed here as "day" guests as we arrived in Bologna at 8. 45am and our onward flight wasn't until 9. Booking was smooth and easy and cost €80 for the room from 10am until 6pm

A bigger car does not fit, but you can park it at a parking lot in front of the hotel for 6 euros per day. We did not have high expectations, but for the price we paid (off season) I would really recommend this hotel

I had a pleasant Stay at the AC Hotel! The rooms are very nice and the beds are comfortable. The bathrooms are very stylish with the clear glass sink

There is a Lidl close by but not much more. Old town is a 15 minute walk, but more like 30-40 minutes to the center of old town

This hotel is located in the heart of Bologna, close to the central train station. The services are good and the staff are very special especially Paolo

Breakfast is not rich and can be updated with varieties. Taxi cost from the hotel to airport is about 15 - 25 € depending on the traffic, day/night service(15-20 min). For short stay the hotel is a very good choice

Bathroom very narrow so for big guys will be difficult to take shower! Collapsing bidet is a great attraction and is very difficult to use anyway! No balcony in most of the rooms
