Hotel Post Gries
Bolzano, Corso Liberta 117 🧭 Map
The hotel provided a bus pass to go into the old town which was really appreciated.
Very noisy with very limited facilities, not even a kettle or bar fridge. Staff were helpful.
I enjoyed the beautiful cityscape and starry sky from my room window, and my comfortable room was a delight. There's no refrigerator, but the hotel has restaurants and cafes, and there are plenty of shops nearby. The hotel staff kindly provided tourist information, and we received a Bolzano Card, which allowed us to easily take the bus and cable car to the beautiful mountains and idyllic meadows. While...
The front desk service was very good, above average, better than the other hotels we stayed in. When they learned we needed a twin room, they even changed our room for free.
The room was small, the staff were friendly.
The hotel is very good. I was worried about the distance, but it turned out to be OK. I didn't take the bus, but walked there according to the navigation, which was an acceptable distance. The hotel is clean and hygienic. There is a supermarket and a fruit supermarket at the door. There are also many restaurants, all of which taste good. For bus card. Very nice, will come again next time.

Very friendly at the reception desk. The hotel was clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend it.
Clean comfortable room and a lovely breakfast! We arrived late and the staff was friendly and helpful.
It is a nice and quiet hotel, although quite far from Bolzano's centre. In view of the cost, surprising is a pretty simple breakfast. Maybe we were just unlucky, but the receptionist was very arrogant. We arrived after a long mountain hike and probably looked a bit worn out, but was it a sufficient reason to treat us as a particularly repugnant bug creeping from mud?
High class hotel in a quiet part of town
I visited this hotel while cycling Adige River route starting in the Resia Valley and finishing in Verona. The food was very good. After a long day in the saddle the Spa was a welcome treat. Would stay here again
Clean and functional room with a double bed. Quiet. Slept well. Breakfast was typical buffet style with kaiser buns and some all pre-packaged pumpernickel bread. Not a great selection of bread in other words, but fine if you're not picky. Also had yoghurts, fruits in syrup, some luncheon style meats and cheese and coffee.

An excellent option just a few minutes from Bolzano, this is a beautiful, modern hotel with great amenities. We stayed in the Jasmine Suite, which was huge. Everything was thoughtfully done and very clean. The breakfast buffet was delicious and high quality, with lots of variety. We also ate dinner at the restaurant and it was one of the best meals in our travels through Italy (no joke, I was surprised...
An exceptional property in a fabulous location. Everything here is wonderful; the attention to detail, the staff who remember your coffee order, free locally grown and delicious apples, the comfort and design of the rooms, quality of food... it is truly a remarkable place. I loved every moment there. The hotel is well located and very close to Bolzano and some great castles, gardens, mountains and...
Pleasant stay, enjoyed the sauna services. Loved the juicing machine at breakfast and Prosecco at breakfast too! Just a lil out of the way unless driving.
Cozy stay The sauna and wellness area were great, although at busy times not well maintained, towels would run out etc. Room was comfy and spacious but definitely has some age and wear, lots of scratches on the floor, worn in areas. Bed was nice and the views were amazing.
This is such a hidden gem. Only 15/20 mins on the bus from the centre of Bolzano and you land in this absolutely beautiful hotel surrounded by apple orchards which are perfect for a walk at the start or end of the day. The rooftop bar and pool are so good. The food in the restaurant downstairs was also great (note closed on Mondays). We absolutely loved it here. PS we stayed with our baby and it was...
The room is spacious and bright with a small living room and kitchenette, which is very convenient. The hotel's surroundings are very quiet and parking is convenient. The hotel's restaurant is very good.

Very convenient for the station. Helpful staff, they arranged for us to get early breakfast, & provided local information & Sudtirol guest passes
We stayed here as a family for 8 nights to explore the area, mostly hiking in the nearby valleys and mountains. It's a lovely hotel. Old school.. but in a good way! The front desk staff are so helpful answering our many questions and giving great advice on things to do and where to go, and how to get there. They never let us down. Good breakfast. Spacious quiet room. Really clean. They made us feel...
Great hotel, highly recommended. Rooms clean and comfy, generous breakfast, and super helpful and patient staff. High quality, looking forward to coming back
Lovely traditional hotel and very helpful staff. 2-minute walk away from the Bolzano railway station. Very convenient for taking early train. The staff are very helpful. My rental car got a flat tire near the hotel and it's after office hour. The hotel staff made a lot of calls to finally find a tow truck to help me return the car to rental company. Really appreciate their efforts.
I stayed here with my family of 4 as a layover between getting into the area from London and heading into the Dolomites for the Rosengarten Traverse. It’s a perfect location immediately next to the bus and train stations and next door to a ton of restaurants, grocery stores, and shops (including an outdoor sports store to rent via feratta gear). We had everything we needed! The breakfast was great...
No complaints about this stay, conveniently located close to the sudtirol mobile bus station and train station means an easy trip with luggage. This hotel is a 5 min walk from the center of historical Bolzano as well. Rooms were as expected, nothing extra fancy but the bed was comfy. Pretty good breakfast served on site.

Great service, nice breakfast.
If you get a good price it's a nice choice. Close to road, some noise tolerance required.
The positives; clean rooms and very friendly staff breakfast is OK. However, the decoration is very outdated and my room felt very old, not modernised in 30 years.
Definitely a 4 star hotel beautiful rooms and great staff

Very friendly personal! Very good breakfast buffet! Quite and nice place.
Nice midsized Hotel with Restaurant and Bar. Free parking right behind the Hotel. Modern clean rooms with nice view into the valley. Very friendly and helpful staff (thanks Thomas). Well located right next to the main road. This means there are trafficsounds, but the windows are well isolated. Additionally at night there is no mentionable traffic there.
The rooms were great, the location for the Dolomites is perfect and the owner is so helpful. All of the staff were friendly and cheerful. I would stay again if I was to be in the area.
Service is very nice and polite, helps you with whatever you need. There is a bus next to the hotel that drives you to the city. Rooms are ok and clean. I am missing an AC since in the rooms it's very hot when it's sunny weather and the ventilator doesn't help much. Also the walls are very thin and whenever there are noisy guests it's somehow really annoying. The quality of the breakfast could be better...

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Figl immensely. The rooms were large and very comfortable. Breakfast was just enough to get us started on our day. And the staff was friendly and helpful.
Great hotel and location. Staff are all very helpful. Short walk from train station and in the midst of the pedestrian zone. Nice breakfasts with both inside and outside seating. Meals all day and a nice small bar.
We had a marvelous stay at Hotel Figl. Since we were traveling by train, the short walk to the hotel was convenient. The staff is outstanding. We quickly settled in to our beautiful and extremely comfortable suite, then headed out to enjoy the gorgeous area thanks to the orientation provided by the staff. Their recommendations of things to do and restaurants fit our desires and interests. A perfect...
Perfect little hotel We stayed at Hotel Figl for 2 nights during our interrail trip across Europe, and after a week of staying in some pretty nice hotels, this one truly stood out as the best. It was by far the comfiest and friendliest place we experienced:) Yes, the hotel is a little older, but that’s exactly what gave it such unique charm: we fell completely in love with it. <3 The atmosphere was...
Wonderful hotel with helpful staff and perfect location right next to the central square. The room was spotless clean and everything worked as expected without any gimmicks. The staff was extra helpful and the service was great.
Everything was wonderful. A true find in Bolzano. Walking distance from train station, laundry, great cafe downstairs. Highly recommended.

I was so positively surprised with Hotel Linger. We were in this region because of a wedding celebration of friends and were travelling with our 6 year old pup. We called a few hotels in the area and they all refused to take us because of the dog. The Hotel Linger was the only hotel around that accepted dogs. To get to the hotel you have to drive through the path in the vineyards, it's an a really...
Super well-kept and very cute hotel - a small oasis of well-being nestled between apple trees and vineyards. The staff is very courteous and super friendly - you feel completely comfortable. Best wines and top service! Thank you Peter for everything!
Family run hotel with the nicest hosts ever! Nothing was too much in order to make our stay as pleasant as possible: late check-in, a late night snack on arrival (since we didn't have dinner yet) , restaurant and taxi bookings, a birthday treat, recommendations on what to do.. The breakfast was fresh and tasty. The hotel is located between vineyards and their home-made wine is very good. An absolute...

Great breakfast and very friendly and helpful owners. The rooms do not have a fridge, but there are some fridges on each floor and also a big one on the ground floor where you can store some beverages.
Breakfast was superb and a real highlight of the property. We stayed 7 days and by the 2nd. the owners already knew our preferences in breakfast. Speaking of them, what a polite couple! Our old rented car run out of battery one morning and the owner promptly phoned his son, who brought a cable to start the engine. We felt like home! No surprise the hotel is always full!
Wahoo, an amazing view, amazing rooms and overall a great experience. clean rooms with an amazing breakfast (best omelet we ever ate). The family operating the place are amazing, always smiling and ready to help + they offered help with laundry service which was a great help for a family of 5 that was on the road for a week :)
We found this hotel very last minute and I have to say that it was the best choice ever! We had a warm welcome and the service and breakfast was a delight! Location and views are also great, you can see the wineyards from the terrace! Definetely recommending this one!
Loved our stay in this beautiful location. Family owned hotel with alot of special extra touches and wonderful breakfast. Loved walking the river walk into the town. Hillside location offers wonderful views of mountains and valley.
great hotel! We loved the view of the room, the breakfast and the hospitality! I suggest to try the dinner at the hotel... It was great!

No frills hotel well suitable for short stay. Rooms’ walls are covered with pictures of sur-real, dream-like content
We had a pleasant stay at the hotel in Bozen. The owners were friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The location is excellent, situated right in the heart of the city, with the city center just a short walk away. The rooms are simple but very clean and well-maintained. While the hotel isn't the most modern, it is clearly cared for with pride and attention to detail. Breakfast...
Clean, comfortable, acceptable, wish I had more budget for a better place but it’s still good. The gentleman manning the hotel is very nice, polite and understanding.
One night hotel Ok hotel for one night. On the way to skiing it is ok. Not grate, not bad, but ok. Will I stay there again? Yes for one night
Nice hotel. Its location in the second row and within easy walking distance of the city center is a drawback, as the hotel's price-performance ratio is just about acceptable. We booked at very short notice. It wouldn't be my first choice in Bolzano due to the price.
This place was in a perfect location but what we loved the most is the service: the boss is so nice and friendly, breakfast is served with fresh Italian cappuccino and warm pastries and the staff is so helpful! Thank you! Grazie per practicare Italiano con me!

After reading all the duff reviews we were in trepidation of our booking, made many weeks previously. We were so pleasantly surprised. Pleasant 15min walk into the town centre which is also fabulous. The only...

We stayed one night at the Hotel Ariston in Bolzano. The Hotel is located 15 minutes walk from the historic center. Parking is provided in the immediate vicinity of the Hotel in a public area. A simple accommodation, but clean.
I am pleasently surprised with the room. Everything was clean and well equipped. And the location is good, 800m far from downtown. I would visit it again.

Good coffee and nice, friendly servant 👍
Nice and clean hotel, comfy beds and good bar. Perfect for a night stay over if you're travelling South to Italy from the North of Europe.
Walked off the street with no booking, dinner-wine, breakfast, quiet big room, great staff, 90 Euro, what do you want more?
Good staff, poor location, overpriced. Staff are generally very good, with the exception of the bar manager who is a little precious. Located in industrial estate, there is very little to see or do. Cabs or cars are necessary as walking into town takes an hour. Due to little competition around prices are marked up.

Very nice small hotel in 2 minutes from station and central Piazza Walther in Bozen. We meet every second weekend with my boyfriend here, because we live in different cities.
