Albergo Orologio

Hotel is perfectly located with nice restaurants and cafés around. The place itself is nothing special, but clean and friendly staff, humble breakfast. Ideal if you want to spend a weekend in town and don’t want to spend too much for accommodation. Very close to the castle and other points of interest. The parking is a either a 5 min (free) or 2 min (paid) walk.

As you step out of the hotel you are right there ! Immersed in the feeling of well..... Italy .... winding little streets , little bars and restaurants, beautiful arched walkways.. just amazing .
We parked in a spacious underground parking about a 2 minute walk from the hotel . Our room was gigantic ( for italy ) and had a sitting corner and a writing desk . Mattress very comfortable , smart tv , and my lady's desire in every hotel ... bath slippers.
The Bathroom was very clean and sufficiently large.
I think we found our hotel in Brescia and we will be happy to return .

We loved our three night stay here! The location is wonderful, right by one of the main piazzas (with TWO cathedrals!!), although there are so many piazzas in this city, so much history layered over the centuries, we had no idea!! On Saturday, there was a big open air market in the nearby piazzas, we bought too many pretty clothes at amazing prices! But really the old feeling and the history, the atmosphere .. molto bella!!!!! Our room was small, but I think that is usual here, so much squeezed into small spaces! It was really all we needed and the staff was always friendly and helpful. Grazie mille!

A very nice place to kick back, calm and quiet with very good and friendly staff. Well maintained rooms, clean and well furnished. Had a lovely time in albergo orologio. Looking forward to staying there sometime soon.

Wonderful experience.

Right in the middle of the old city. All attractions of Brescia are within minutes distance by foot. Calm and warm and a very cozy hotel with very good breakfast.

Best Stars ever – Room 15 with 2 balconies and fantastic views – all in the centre of town.
Friendly, helpful and welcoming staff; best value good breakfast in Italy. Organised airport transfer to Milan at reasonable value.
Next stop in Brescia we will book here again. We can highly recommend this accommodation.
Some minor recommendations and observations:
- Fix shower head bracket because it tends to slide down.
- Improve on towel brackets as the towels slide off.
- The shower is not for tall people as it measures about 1,8 metres to under need the showerhead – however the bed is unusually long and would be great for tall people.

I stayed at Albergo Orologio for 2 nights in February 2018. The beauty of the place, like Europe, is best experienced in person. You get the typical charming Italian town experience and every nook and cranny around reeks of culture. Every building you see is huge, appears historical and may have its own story to tell. There is a plaza nearby, a huge library, a church with a giant clock, a couple of malls close by, and to top it all, the service is top class. You can explore the town on foot and find plenty of shops within a 2 km radius selling a lot of touristy items at a real bargain. The breakfasts each morning were phenomenal, and the croissants served here - (arguably Europe's best - yeah seriously - I travelled for 15 days across 5 countries) - alone make it worth another visit! Next time I intend to visit Italy with family and will check-in at Albergo Orologio for sure!!
