Honestly we were sceptic taking notice of your reviews but we're actually here at the Rubik's castle. The owner is a nice chap very kind and the rooms are amazing, clean and spacious. I mean what do you expect to get with that price... Buckingham palace??? Anyways never judge a book by its cover. We're very happy customers and we'll be back again.

Bed sheets weren't clean.

I booked a Single Economy room for two nights. Room was supposed to be 8 square metres but was actually only 5. The walls were from plasterboard so you could hear everything that was happening in the entrance and the reception. The bed didn't have a blanket cover, and there was no garbage bin. Obviously also no TV even if it was listed on the description.
In the bathroom the toilet seat wasn't attached to the toilet, showerhead holder was broken, hairdryer didn't work. Also cleaning products and dirty laundry were laying around during the day.
I left after the first night. Didn't want my holidays to end in a sad place like that.
The rooms on the photos looked good but they don't have photos of the other rooms, so I find it really deceptive.
My recommendation is to stay far away from this place!

Horrible host and horrible rooms.
1. There are no signs, no staff, no waiting area.
2. I found the bed linen very dirty
3. There are no shampoo/body wash that are normally provided
4. The fridge in the kitchen was also very dirty and smelled bad
5. In the morning we got nothing for breakfast although we paid for it.
6. There was no staff available for questions. Although he told us to call him if needed, he didn't answer the phone.
We had a terrible experience, you must look for something else in Catania, not this one.

We did a group booking directly to Giancarlo. We payed for B&B and had no breakfast. 3 of the rooms we booked weren't in the pictures were a mess. The room I stayed didn't had a window. Some parts of the kitchen window weren't there. We had no running water for 20h. In my bad I found hair. The smell was so bad like mold with smoke and dirt.
When confronted they said is in our haid,no one is smoking in there while they were smoking wright in front of us.
