Hotels on first line in Catania

A beautiful hotel set on the cliff just outside Catania - rooms are big, have AC, well serviced, great pool (30m plus x 20), great pool bar, amazing buffet breakfast, access to sea. Lovely for a family holiday.

We were only going to stay one night and ended up staying two. We found the room to be quiet and comfortable. The view is spectacular and while we didn’t use the pool it was available and we sunned ourselves near it

It's a pity that I can only stay in this city for one night. Although it is not a sea view room, you can still see a piece of sea, which is more charming when combined with the garden view

Great hotel with a room facing the sea. Excellent breakfast and private car park. I really appreciated the shower without a tub that I had requested and they accommodated me

The hotel is very large, and the restaurant has a 180-degree view of the sea

The heated pool outside and the wellness and spa center was unavailable, unfortunately 🥺 The sun terrace was closed too, even though the weather was great

What a great hotel, location was fab and a beautiful private beach across the road. Service was excellent

The service was ultimately good, though the service staff seemed a little out of rhythm, helping others with drinks and orders before us despite us being the first in the restaurant

Quite limited dinner options, however there is a restaurant across the road called “Trattoria Del Sole”, which is reasonable price, and offers a different option if required!

What I like the most is the large balcony of the hotel, where you can see the scenery and the sea view.

The hotel breakfast is superb! You can see the snow-capped mountains on the top floor. The service is also very good. It is highly recommended and suitable for vacation

Having traveled the entire island, I can say that among city hotels this is the best with its small beach where herons roam!!! With Turkish requests, it’s better not to come here; they won’t court you, but the opportunity to walk to the center and the fishing port with a cafe and the freshest seafood is worth it!!! The combination of price, location and private beach tunnel directly from the hotel...

The beach is 15 euros, 15 euros pool, so think before you take. Parking is free. The breakfasts are great, service is great, the service, the rooms, the location is super.

The staff (such as the reception, the employees at breakfast, the cleaning ladies, the employees at the pool) went out of their way to make us feel at home (in this Corona time)

The position is great, rigth in front of the sea. Near the hotel you can find everything: bar, restaurant, supermarket, atm, Tabasco’s all in 200 meters from the hotel

My room was number 210 and I had the luck to meet signora Serafina, she is fantastic and gave me lots of advices. Every time I’ll be in Catania I’ll come back in this hotel

Ideal location away from Catania overlooking a fishing harbour and a short walk to train station. You can't buy a ticket there and it is worrying as you have to 'validate ' your ticket before you get on the train!

Car rental (specify automatic first, if needed), tour and taxi service (specify Visa card first or you'll need euros), can all be arranged thru the front desk

Great location right on the coast, and friendly helpful staff. Breakfast offerings were a bit slim, but there's cafes all over the place so not an issue.

But friendly ticket inspector lets you pay on the train! I travel alone so the welcome i get is very important. This i received along with a smart room

Outstanding restaurant is right next door (+ 24 hour bar 2 minutes away). Fresh, free buffet breakfast with free espresso upon request

The door of the room is unique and big enough. The service is nice. It is close to the airport and train station. It is the best choice for a one-day trip to Catania via Taormina. The breakfast is also very good.

The beautiful beach a few meters from the bungalow. Nearby there are restaurants, bars and a Lidl reachable in a few minutes by car. Bus stop for Catania center right at the entrance of the structure

I rarely write reviews, but Michael at the front desk is really worthy of praise. He is very enthusiastic and helpful👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻. He also helped us upgrade to a seaside room

Cottages in a wooded area, sandy beach, parking, 24-hour service

Our room was basic but had air con, fridge and shower with plenty hot water and although could do with updating it was comfortable and right next to the most beautiful beach with loungers and parasols available for guests

This place has an amazing beach and it is not expensive. Very close proximity to the airport, a highway and some shopping malls

Honestly it’s actually quite a nice place, we are here in winter with a camper, only people staying here. The staff at the bar and restaurant are lovely and we have been getting along really well

The place is for sure run down but good news is that there is a bunch of people working on it now and hopefully by summer it will be looking good!

The unit itself had a small kitchen which would have been nice if we were there long, a bedroom with 3 twin beds and when you walk in, that also was a bedroom with a double (really 2 twins together with a sheet over them)

Stayed here unexpectedly for 4 nights when flight was delayed

It was a basic room with a bed that moved with every movement of my partner. The public toilet was in bad shape, no seat and flush mechanism was hard to interpret. The chairs and sofa in the common area were broken down

We would have preferred to have slept on the beach than there would not recommend it to anyone. In the pictures it looks completely different than a luxury hotel. Can't understand good reviews

The only good thing was the location which was near the city center of Catania

The location is superb. Accessibility is excellent, no matter where you go. Facilities are mediocre. For those who go out in the morning and come back late at night, it is excellent in terms of cost performance.

staff was accommodating to our late arrival time from the airport. Also explained with details the premises and places around, ie: pizzeria. The breakfast was delicious and plenty I would recommend them

We had a wonderful stay here! The rooms were large, clean and comfortable for the whole family. The pool is a great place to cool off and the kids had so much fun there

A lovely little hotel to book into for work or pleasure

Parking can be either in the building at a fee or it can be found on the street and it is free. The amazing sea (a marine reserve) is a few steps in front of the hotel and access is free

   I never ever encountered such guest mistrust…   I must add we waited a lot to get the second course. The hotel was really beautiful, nice room, breakfast was great and varied.  The staff very polite and courtious

 Downside that it has no car park. 1/2Hours driving in Circles to find a parking spot.  I was a bit disappointed in some thibgs…. The Hotel takes a 100euro off your card as a security

Excellent hotel, extremely comfortable rooms with excellent service. The bar staff particularly were great, with the best coffee and cornetto in town!

 Why?   I paid cash all the time but wanted to have my evening dinner charged on my room and they refused because the bill was 104 euro

The staff are very helpful and speak good English. Room was comfortable with good shower and air con. Easy to reach from centre though perhaps not if one was old or infirm and had no car

Large green spaces, a beautiful pool and a large, spacious flat. Very friendly owners. The location is good, close to Catania but away from the city traffic. You need a car to get around

The buffet breakfasts were very good with abundant choice. The location is 10 minutes' walk from the station and 15-20 from the centre of the city. The building is well restored but the environs are a bit run-down

Shower sink was blocked and I had to jump out of the pool every time I took shower. Location is okay, they checked me in really early, nice staff.

Very clean, the rooms nicely lit, the shower spacious. The breakfast limited in selection, for example forget the english breakfast buffet style. But still, there was food to consume

For a weekend/short break, this hotel is ideal. However, the room has that 'wow' factor - four poster bed and high ceilings decorated by plaster muriels. The bathroom was basic, but functional

A place near the bus station to taormina and siracusa. It's one minute away to take Alibus to airport which cost EUR4. A good location just 15-20 minutes walk to the catania Centrale and the fish market there.

The lobby and hallway's decor is classic, but the rooms are dated. The interior rooms look out into a lovely garden/square. The staff is quite helpful and friendly, making sure one's stay is comfortable

There is a 24-hour reception, which was very convenient. The breakfast was very filling and delicious. The breakfast staff were also very friendly. The price-performance ratio was high

The worst one is actually Ctrip! Booking online costs 480rmb, not counting contributiono di soggiorno, and paying at the front desk only costs 54 euros including breakfast and CDS

I enjoyed staying at this warm, cozy, , quite, and clean hotel located close by the train and bus stations. It's a nice 10 minutes walk to the Duomo and other historical sites

The hotel is extremely nice and in an excellent location. The room is spacious and there is everything you need. Breakfast is outstanding with homemade cakes

These guys were great, we called them at 10PM when we couldn't find a place to stay (B&B Le Ninfe cancelled our booking, stay away from them, worst experience ever) and they sold us a duplex at a very good price

Cable TV with many channels ( Italian ). Just a few small annoying things: The shower head needs maintenance (won't stay up, so you have to hold it) , and one night they forgot to clean the room

Very friendly staff, and an excellent location. Close to all the tourist sites and many cafes and restaurants. The two-floor room with its own internal patio was lovely and comfortable

Very nice set up, multiple pools with different purposes, dry spa and wet spa, aroma therapy room, a spot where ice falls from the ceiling, also they had tea, fuit, and a couple other drinks to choose from after the pools

We stayed for 2 nights, and the same staff worked all the time, in the morning and in the evening also. Thats hard! So, there is a pool what you can use only between 10

I mean, why? If you travel to the downtown for sightseeing, than you cant use the pool in the morning nor in the late afternoon or evening. You have to pay more if you want to use the spa

Good breakfast and extremely good pizzeria. Staff are all very friendly and able to accommodate to English speakers well. Room and outdoor swimming pool are both fairly large and very clean

There was a slight leak in the upstairs area during a HUGE rain storm (understandable, but needs fixing) the breakfast on the second day was minimal due to work in kitchen (unavoidable-it was the off season), but the staff offered in room service for breakfast, but it was limited to fruit, cold cut meat, cheese, coffee and juice with the small hard bread rolls

Supercozy hotel, which has an artistic design and is very quite. There is a terrace outside the main building, where you can have a coffee or tea. Hotel itself is very romantic

The hotel is neat, the breakfast is really very extensive and has everything. What is strange is that you have to pay for the bottle of water from the fridge. This is poorly indicated in the hotel only at the reception

The location is good for quickly reaching Catania's classic sights and the train station

The breakfast was also something to write home about👍🏼 The hotel is placed right by the sea, so it’s easy to take a walk and see the beautiful sea line of Catania👌🏼 so it was a very pleasant stay, and we highly recommend it for other visitors of Catania🇮🇹

Super service, we got cheated by an other sleep over by Expedia, and walked to the Sea Palace Hotel. They were so nice and understanding, and found a room for us right away

The staff at the reception were so friendly~ When I told them it was my first time in Catania, they spread out a map and recommended good places to visit!! They also introduced tours and conveniently called a taxi to the airport on the day of check-out :)

The room was very large and very well appointed, the bedding excellent and the bathroom very nice and pleasant. The hotel has a design decoration while keeping the majesty of the old palace

Quite a nice three star hotel bang in the centre of Catania close to Piazza Duomo, Teatro Bellini and the busy Via Etnea. The rooms are big and clean and breakfast was ample and varied

The hotel is centrally placed & only approx 5 mins walk from the main square. There are lots of restaurants and cafés to choose from all around the hotel

Large beautiful white doors opened to a balcony overlooking the square. It was very conveniently located to many restaurants. We appreciated our one night stay before we headed out for an early flight

This place is a hidden gem with its fountain the courtyard and amazing views. We appreciated the elevator as we had heavy luggage. Our room was very nice and extremely clean
