Me and my family stayed here for 1 night after a problem we had with our flight. The staff was very polite, the hotel very clean and the breakfast excellent.

Friendly employees, clean rooms, in a quiet neighborhood and they have a few parkings available. They had everything to offer for a typical italian breakfast (granita, cornetti, delicious coffee) and the usual things for a continental breakfast.

The staff here are super friendly and helpful, and speak English as well. The fitness center's open hours could stand to be a little longer, but its located near guest rooms so it's understandable. The breakfast is 3 euros and is your typical European light breakfast. The bathrooms don't have toothpaste, hand soap, or many other toiletries, so come prepared for that. Fridge has limited storage. The rooms here are very large and comfortable. The hotel offers parking and breakfast which both are convenient. The staff is very helpful and friendly providing great service and recommendations for restaurants. The location is great for walking to most restaurants and some public attractions.

Convenient for us to visit our mother-in-law, in a retirement home, not far away.

Appearances can be deceiving, upon arrival I was a bit perplexed about the structure also due to the decentralized position. But in the end the center can be reached on foot if one is willing to walk a little. Friendly staff good location

The hotel is placed in the heart of Catania, in Stesicorea square. You can easily go by foot to all the main attractions and also to the bus station and train station. The main road Via Etnea crosses the square. The room was clean, the stuff was very friendly and helpful. This is our second visit to this hotel, as we found it to our liking. Central location, close to the market, bus and train station. Very helpful staff, my wife had trouble with her camera and the receptionist pointed out where to go to have it repaired. Rooms clean and spacious. Our choice hotel for our stay in Catania

Made to feel very welcome even when arriving very late. Accommodation was fantastic and in a great location - highly recommend.

Excellent and quiet location. Large rooms with separate kitchen facilities. Comfortable beds. Close to the center and major sites.

Three must be also the stars of this hotel!!The room had not normal windows, and the breakfast was in a cafe near ( Sunday was closed ) !Place was ok very close to the city and the staff was great!

Hidden gem. First impressions arriving during dark hours was daunting. Place is top class, exquisite, unique. Booked suite with terrace. View was lovely. Apartment had everything needed for self catering. Staff very friendly and informative. Bed was a bit squeaky but staff helped with solution. Would recommend.

We had a great suite in this nice hotel at a great location. The breakfast service was disappointing with only 1 person and no ability to self serve or even make your own coffee. With various sweet cakes, white toast, and other unhealthy options the scrambled eggs were the only thing I could eat, time to change the traditional choices I would say. Parking is problematic here.

Four-star hotel in the heart of Catania. Clean. The room I had at the first floor was too close to the street and noisy in the early morning. Continental breakfast in the mid-low average but excellent freshly squeezed orange and mandarin juice.

The rooms are mini suites. The staff is helpful. The breakfast is good. Convenient location in old Catania. Many little repairs needed.

Fantastic boutique hotel in the heart of old Catania, rooms are very clean and comfortable, staff is exquisitely welcoming and kind.

This place is good for staying overnight as it is close to the airport. It is not the typical hotel, has "bungalows" but it's more like separated small units. You have to lock the door when you leave and when you are inside the unit. One of the small windows did not close properly. Has a lot of cats, was confusing getting here because there is a lot of road construction and signs are not clearly marked...

It’s ok for a holiday village.. unfortunately though it’s worth noting that it’s directly under and right by Catania airport so there’s lots of aircraft noise. Awesome location great view of mount Etna

Easily one of the best hotels, great rooms and swimming pool, staff gave us free upgrade. Parking is free. Breakfast is a bit restricted but it's corona related.

Nice Hotel with spacious rooms and friendly staff. Enjoyed the pool in the afternoon after a day of exploring Catania. Good Restaurants within 20-30 minutes walking distance.

Great place, very well looked after, staff couldn’t of been nicer. However, either have a car or be prepared to pay the high taxi prices of Catania. Suited me though as wanted a quiet place to relax.

Very professional and comfortable hotel. Despite the fact that in our room was a WiFi problem, they did everything to solve it at the best way and very pleasant way! The taxi to the city are very expensive, so better come with a rent car. The spa at the hotel impressive and relaxing, must. Recommend this hotel :)

Lovely little hotel with a refined and artistic 1900’s interior. We had the standard double room that had an amazing ceiling with wonderful sculpting. Other lovely details were the antique oak/maple furniture and beautiful double drapes. Staff was absolutely friendly and helpful. We did have a feeling that they were a bit understaffed during breakfast hours though. But this didn’t spoil it at all.

Hands down the best experience you can have in Catania. From the interior design of the rooms to the pleasant staff and the overall feel of the hotel, everything was top notch. Highly recommend!

The Liberty Hotel is an excelent charming Hotel close to the center of Catania. The staff is extraordinary nice and helpful. We always got a very good breakfast and we even could book a tour to Etna in the Hotel. We also got provided with a lot of information about the sights and restaurants in the city.

I just arrived at the hotel tonight after a long day of travel and couldn't be more grateful for Antonio's 5-star service. He helped me with my luggage, found me a room on a higher room for a better view, and promptly replied when I called down for room service (and followed-through with a delicious margherita pizza for 4,50 euro in 30 minutes!) Hotel is charming with a beautiful "winter garden" room...

The location is excellent and the staff really helpful.The rooms are very clean. There is a private internal courtyard for those travelling with a motorcycle.

This place is perfect if you want a weekend break in Catania. The location is exactly in the middle of via Etnea so everything is walking distance. The rooms are big and it's clean and tidy.

A very warm reception upon arrival. This b&b is full of Sicilian character and charm. Clean, quiet, homy yet centrally located. Full access to dining room complete with coffee machine and delicious delectable delights. Amazing high ceilings and beautiful interior are the extension of the Catania's exceptional experience.

Good sized rooms, easy to find location, helpful and friendly staff and a decent breakfast.

Affordable place, but the breakfast would need a revamp. We stayed for 3 nights and we had the same things every day, only bread with butter, no ham, no cheese, nothing savory. Majority of options were sweet, like pistachio pie, apricot pie, croissant and others. The coffee was...well I wouldn't call it a coffee. I am giving 4 out of 5 because the rooms were nice and we had view to Etna!

The place is very comfortable and located near to bus station, 9.00-21.00 market and in walking distance to the center of catania. The owner is very helpful, you can see him every day during the breakfast which is simple but nice (typical continental). Remember to contact the owner before you arrive since there is no reception there.

The host was very good and helpful but the place itself although modern looking and despite tons of positive reviews-was not great. If someone likes B&Bs in apartment block with creepy lift, and electricity being switched of while you are having a shower, then go ahead. Location, with great view at Mt Etna, but surrounding not great, however very close to main city centre area.

I was a little puffed out after lugging my suitcase up four flights of stairs but when I got to the apartment I was blown away, it’s a wonderful place and I would stay there again I would probably pack a little lighter next time. B&B is a misnomer it should just be B al Teatro Massimo.... there is no breakfast. Not a problem, you’re surrounded by places that do all types of breakfasts

We had a great time here. This was perfectly located between all of the amazing attractions. The staff was friendly and the accommodations were great, clean and modern. The room we had, had a balcony, which was great to go out and enjoy watching the city. Highly recommend!

Mina is very friendly and welcoming. She gave us a free upgrade of the room which had a balcony and a spacious beautiful bathroom. Breakfast was served in bed. Location is good, just 5 minutes walk from the main square with the Duomo. Mini market nearby. I would recommend staying at La Zagara!

Close to the city center. Good internet. Very nice and helpful owner. It is just next to a busy street and it can be noisy in the evenings... but I guess the whole of Sicily is extremely noisy :) Overall, very good value for money.
