Hotel Miralago

Hotel Miralago Cernobbio offers breathtaking views of Lake Como and the surrounding mountains, with Harry’s Bar, the iconic Italian restaurant, conveniently located next door. The rooms, while compact, are functional, and the views overlooking the lake and mountains are simply exquisite. Service was outstanding…thank you!

Overall very good experience. The location super close to the lake is perfect as are the views from the restaurant. Walking distance to the ferry is just a few minutes as are many restaurants.

The service was very good, all staff are friendly. On the first night we checked in very late and the restaurant was already closed but one of the staff members were so nice to bring us bread with a cold cut plate.

The interior is very classic and traditional which we like in Italy. The rooms however are too small. No space to open 2 suitcases. The bathroom way too small. The toilet was placed close to the shower, im tall and could not get my legs in there. I had to use the public toilet on the first floor…

The breakfast was good but the selection limited. Also no cheese and meat was in the standard buffet so you had order a plate with cheese, beef and ham. This was free but if you just need 1 item of this then the rest is thrown away. They could include this in the buffet to reduce food waste.

Minus these few things we enjoyed our stay here and it was a great beginning of our Italy trip.

We had an absolutely lovely two night stay at the Hotel Miralago while visiting for a wedding at Villa Erba. The reception staff, housekeeping and and restaurant staff were all absolutely lovely, friendly and helpful. The location is unbeatable, the food at the restaurant was great (we had breakfast and lunch there), and the rooms are perfectly sufficient. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to friends and anyone else and would stay there again myself if traveling to Lake Como in the future.

Great location right next to the ferry station and good restaurants. The hotel rooms and priced fairly and the lake front views are wonderful.

Beautiful hotel, fantastic location.
We came here for 2 nights from Milan Malpensa. Train from the airport was easy and the nicest way to arrive was the 10 minute Ferry across. The hotel is there in front of you, looking glorious overlooking the lake. We were welcomed by Liliyana (Lily? Sorry, I think the name might be wrong) and she checked us in quickly. Most of the details were sorted via email, they have a great system online for letting you customise your stay where necessary and in advance. Hotel was very responsive to any questions I had. There was a lovely touch of some chocolates welcoming us in our room, as this was our wedding anniversary trip.
The only negative was the bathroom - a little small (room 114) and the water pressure was a bit low. We had a corner room with lake view as it was the only one available for your dates. It's a lovely lovely room and has a cute balcony and worth getting if you can. The bed was very comfortable and pillows were great too.
Breakfast is very fresh and plentiful. A fair selection and decent but not a massive silly buffet spread so don't expect it nor complain for not getting it. Cheeses, cuts, eggs and pancakes are all prepared to order.
We spent the evening and following day wandering around the small village and had a great pizza at Albergo Rialstorante Pizza Giardino, round the corner (separate review).
It was a short walk to Villa D'Este for dinner the following evening.
This hotel is a great location and I would definitely stay again.

Spent 4 nights for a family wedding. Very squishy-squashy rooms if you are a couple, even if you are used to older family-owned European hotels in expensive places, but the bed was super-comfortable. Good breakfast. Charming and very attentive staff. The location is gorgeous - right by the ferryboat quay and a minute from the main street of the charming town. Don't miss the beautiful interior of the small church round the back by the hotel car park and you must eat at the Osterria del Beuc in the adjoining alleyway, which is an absolute gem.

The food (and service) at M Restaurant is delightful. Traditional dining experience in an outstanding location by the water (ferry port) in Cernobbio (CO). Every plate was prepared and presented expertly. The freshest ingredients. Exceptional service by a very attentive staff; attention to details included. This can get a bit touristy (seasonally) due to its location but the dining experience remains true to its local roots.
