Sheraton Lake Hotel

We left Sheraton yesterday and we spent 5 nights there. We enjoyed our experience with them and we were lucky to get brand new rooms. We are a family of 5 and we think it’s worth visiting again. In addition to the great location we also enjoyed their pool. Breakfast was super and the service too but specially Delia who was the most helpful staff and the one who always smiles and help. She is a dynamo. We totally recommend it.

Not sure what other negative reviewers on here experienced, but this was one of the most wonderful hospitality experiences ever. The staff were friendly, and very helpful and came to our room at least twice a day for cleaning and turn down service. We only had one request (ice) during our stay and it was at our door in 10 minutes. The staff are great. One minor negative for us was that they won’t provide an iron or steamer - they provide a whole ironing room on the first floor and you need to take your clothes there to iron them.

Breakfast had a pretty decent spread, pretty typical of Italian breakfast but the dining room is beautiful and the staff were, again, very attentive.

The pool is beautiful. Lots of space, which never felt crowded at any point. One slight negative is the pool is surrounded by a hedge/flowerbeds which makes entry to the pool a little bit of a strange maze.

The location of the hotel lends itself to luxurious grounds because it’s a bit of a walk out of Como town (around 45 mins), but there are multiple buses heading into town every ~10 minutes as well as nearby ferry stops. The town of Cernobbio with several great restaurants is a 10 minute walk.

Overall, this was a modern, clean hotel with very friendly staff and great service. We would definitely stay here again if we visit Como in the future.

Beautiful hotel with cheerful staff who have a willingness to help you. The breakfast room staff were exceptional with lovely smiles, excellent service if you needed help and wearing lovely uniforms. Hello ladies! Fabulous egg bar! Huge selection of food, something for everyone. Reception staff also had great uniforms different and not boring. The gardens are peaceful and different. Four eateries, so something for everyone.

As a frequent traveler and a tough critic of hotels, my wife and I often find ourselves unimpressed with many establishments. However, my recent stay at the Sheraton Lake Como exceeded every expectation and set a new standard for hospitality. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism by every member of the staff—from the bellman who promptly took care of our luggage to the bar staff who made us feel right at home with their friendly service.

The attention to detail and the kindness shown by the staff truly made this stay remarkable. For instance, after I accidentally left my insulin behind, the team not only kept it refrigerated but went above and beyond by coordinating its safe delivery to Switzerland. They followed up continuously to ensure everything went smoothly, a gesture that reflects their commitment to guests in ways I’ve rarely seen elsewhere.

One of the standout features of the Sheraton Lake Como is its incredible Michelin-starred restaurant, Kitchen. The culinary experience was nothing short of exceptional, with each dish being a masterpiece of flavor and presentation. The restaurant alone is worth the stay, but when paired with the hotel’s luxurious spa, it becomes an unforgettable experience. The spa provided the perfect retreat after long days of exploring the stunning Lake Como, with treatments that left us feeling rejuvenated and pampered.

Every staff member we encountered went out of their way to make our stay comfortable, and it was evident that their goal was to make each guest feel like a VIP. Whether it was the concierge offering personalized recommendations or the housekeeping team ensuring our room was always immaculate, the service was impeccable.

If you're considering booking a stay at the Sheraton Lake Como, I can confidently say that you won’t regret it. The kindness, courtesy, and commitment to excellence displayed by the staff have made this a hotel we plan to return to every year. This was over-the-top value and service, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience with Marriott in Lake Como.

I had a lovely stay at Sheraton Lake Como, starting with a warm welcome from the incredibly friendly and kind team, who greeted me with coffee and sweets upon arrival. The terrace room was a peaceful spot for enjoying morning coffee while listening to the birds. The bed was incredibly comfortable, with soft pillows and a cozy duvet. The room itself was well-appointed, featuring a spacious shower and complimentary water bottles designed with a Lake Como motif, which I’ve seen in other Marriott properties in Italy.

The outdoor pool and the large hot tub with jets were perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The breakfast buffet was solid, but the omelette station really stood out. I also dined at their on-site restaurant, Kitchen, which was a highlight of my trip. Definitely reserve in advance for dinner, though lunch is more available in the fall.

The gym, while small, had an efficient selection of machines. Getting around was easy with the nearby ferry stop, Tavernola, just a 5-8 minute walk from the hotel. Ubers aren’t really an option here, but the staff were always happy to organize a taxi for me. Overall, the exceptional service made my stay even more enjoyable!

Absolutely amazing hotel. Staff are so friendly and they go above and beyond to make your stay the best it can possibly be.
The hotel is beautiful, the food is outstanding and it's all located a 5 minute walk away from lake como itself. My wife and I spent 9 nights here for our honeymoon and we carnt wait to come back. OUTSTANDING!!!!
