One of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at! The staff is friendly and the service is top-notch. Rooms are spacious and impeccably neat, though the balcony felt a bit exposed, possibly connected to the neighboring room’s.
The standout is the pool across the road—it’s like escaping to another chill paradise, delivering the perfect vacation vibe we craved. Note: Pool towels can’t be taken back to the room, so grab your own if you’re chilly post-swim.
Breakfast was exceptional, with a spot-on selection of fresh, varied choices—super fresh fruits and top-quality ham that stole the show. Highly recommended!

Great Location and decent room. Everyone was very helpful and professional. Felt like it did back in the day when Starwood owned them! It was a pleasant change from the more recent experiences I have had. The only thing I didn’t care for was the overpowering scent in the lobby area. It triggered my allergies!

I went with my family 2 nights to this hotel and overall we were very disappointed. We booked a newly refurbished junior suite but unfortunately the room was not finished yet with the refurbishment. Towel holders were missing, not installed yet. Some tubes from the refurbishment came out of the wall, unfinished. The furniture was not like in the Hotel webpage. No sofa chair or sofa table was available. I feel betrayed having paid double the price of a normal room but it was unfinished.
Further the service in the restaurant was terrible, the waiter had an attitude and made our dinner not nice.
The gym was dirty and the dustbin was overfilled. I got locked up in the Gym as the door to the reception area was locked and the official entrance of the spa was locked too. Very uncool and I don't think this is according to security rules.
There were more little things like a dirty swim bag which we received for our stay.
When I confronted the management with these things, they showed little understanding and ignored my petition to give me a discount, instead they offered me some Bonvoy points which don't make up.
I can not recommend this hotel as it is poorly managed.
When I contacted Marriott on my poor stay, they apologized and promised to look into the matter. Nothing came back although i rewrote them again.

We stayed one night at this Hotel on the way to the Riviera. The Hotel has wonderful grounds, pool and pool bar area is gorgeous with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. Our room was very nice and comfortable. Staff was super friendly and helpful. We used the SPA as well. Very nice and relaxing, pool, jacuzzi,sauna, steam and relax beds are available. Since its not too big you better make a reservation. SPA is free for 1 hr/ day.
We used the parking garage but there are plenty of street parking as well.
We had a nice time and would return again.

We left Sheraton yesterday and we spent 5 nights there. We enjoyed our experience with them and we were lucky to get brand new rooms. We are a family of 5 and we think it’s worth visiting again. In addition to the great location we also enjoyed their pool. Breakfast was super and the service too but specially Delia who was the most helpful staff and the one who always smiles and help. She is a dynamo. We totally recommend it.

The location is quite remote, requiring a noisy highway to reach the lake. The lakeside area isn't very close to the Lihu Scenic Area, and the facilities are old. The bathroom sliding door is a struggle to close, and it doesn't close properly. It's a very old hotel. The breakfast was okay, but the food at the hotel's outdoor restaurant (for dinner and lunch) was absolutely terrible. I checked in and pre-authorized the room, which I'd already paid in full on Ctrip, but they also added three nights' worth of pre-authorization. It was a mistake, but the hotel offered no apology, misleadingly claiming it was a pre-authorization for another room (which also had a pre-authorization for three nights' worth) and making excuses. This kind of deliberate over-authorization is common abroad, and when I checked out, I couldn't get my money back, especially since I couldn't communicate with them in a foreign language. So I went after Ctrip, but they took advantage of the language barrier. They didn't admit any fault, saying they'd refunded the money upon check-out. They didn't even mention the over-authorization. Since I can't bring Ctrip to justice, the hotel should have also taken note. They issued the bill at checkout. Furthermore, Ctrip's full payment included city tax, but the hotel still charged 5 euros per person per day. Anyway, it's a mess. I don't recommend staying here.

The hotel reception looks amazing but they seemed to have stopped the renovations at the room. They look old and have a lot of signs of usage. The bed and sheets are great however. But you can feel the hotel had a lot of usage.

The fact there’s no view or access to the water was a big issue for us.

On the bright side the service was exceptional.

Not sure what other negative reviewers on here experienced, but this was one of the most wonderful hospitality experiences ever. The staff were friendly, and very helpful and came to our room at least twice a day for cleaning and turn down service. We only had one request (ice) during our stay and it was at our door in 10 minutes. The staff are great. One minor negative for us was that they won’t provide an iron or steamer - they provide a whole ironing room on the first floor and you need to take your clothes there to iron them.

Breakfast had a pretty decent spread, pretty typical of Italian breakfast but the dining room is beautiful and the staff were, again, very attentive.

The pool is beautiful. Lots of space, which never felt crowded at any point. One slight negative is the pool is surrounded by a hedge/flowerbeds which makes entry to the pool a little bit of a strange maze.

The location of the hotel lends itself to luxurious grounds because it’s a bit of a walk out of Como town (around 45 mins), but there are multiple buses heading into town every ~10 minutes as well as nearby ferry stops. The town of Cernobbio with several great restaurants is a 10 minute walk.

Overall, this was a modern, clean hotel with very friendly staff and great service. We would definitely stay here again if we visit Como in the future.

We didn’t get housekeeping for one of the days and asked if it could be done the following morning to which the front desk agent said yes. I called the following morning for housekeeping and was told they would be on their way. We left for breakfast and came back and there was no housekeeping done so I asked if new towels, toilet paper and the garbage could at least be taken out. Someone finally came but we still don’t understand why housekeeping wasn’t done as we were away for most of the day. We were also getting ready for our wedding day in the hotel room and asked if an extra chair could be brought up. We waited over an hour for someone to finally come and they brought towels, not a chair. We asked front desk several times before a chair was finally brought to our room. We were hoping our stay would be great as we were prepping for our wedding day but were disappointed with the service. The spa service was great but the customer service from front desk was lacking.
