Beautiful view at the small village, value of money

We stayed in room number 6 with a balcony. The views were surreal, it is a absolute gem at the price. We did not have a car but we were easily able to walk to the nearby village of Dorio (25 mins) each day which allowed us to get a train to other nearby villages to explore. The breakfast was fantastic too and staff extremely friendly.

Stunning location. Breathtaking. Clean room, decent breakfast. Andrea, the host, was very welcoming and nice. We will definitely come back again!

Amazing stay in the Residence di Piona. Great service, host very kind and helpful, the view is amazing and the bedroom comes with everting you need. Parking very close and free. Would recommend ! ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very nice B&B! Clean, comfy, AMAZING views over Lago di Como and a very nice owner. It's hard to imagine to get this level of quality for a reasonable price. If you plan to stay a day or two in this area, I would definitely recommend this place.

This family studo was very comfortable, new and had all amenities needed, including washing machine, coffee machine and a possibility to use the garden. The host was very nice and helpful and offered food from her garden. The breakfast comes in a form of a sweet pie, jam, bread and milk. We also asked for eggs and the host offered them very kindly, adding more things. All info were at guests disposal...

The people who are running the restaurant are very nice. They weren't too many other tourists and there was a pretty view. The food was excellent and we could try specialities from there.

We were staying nearby and used the hotel restaurant many times. We loved the location, excellent value for money and the hosts were so welcoming. Fantastic menu, beautiful setting and we absolutely loved our visits here. Nothing was too much trouble. A definite 5* rating from us. 👍👍

I have been here twice for a stop-over, already a while ago. Once with the children and once with my wife. The memories are so good that I have to write this review. This Albergo is a Juwel. The quiet location with a perfect view to the Lake, surround by lush gardens is one of the best. Fantastic experience. The restaurant/hotel is not easy to find…but when you arrive…it’s WOW for the incredible point of view on the lake of Como, for the quality and variety of the food (mainly sea food), for the service….definitely a place to go….FANTASTIC

Very nice view, the room was ok. The food was good unless you order a eur12 smoked salmon and you expect more than three typical slices that look like bought in a plastic box in a supermarket. The service was very accaptable for a middle class, affordable hotel, not much to complain about. I can recommend I the window view is the most important :)

The hotel is in a great location, right by the lake. The facilities are new, the rooms are big and clean. The breakfast is also good and there is free parking. The hotel also has a large restaurant and the continental breakfast is also good.

WE LOVED IT. The location, the service, the staff, the property. Everything met our expectations and more. It is even a little undervalued for the view it offers. One of the best view around lake Como, in my opinion. It has some new rooms newly renovated I think, much better than pictures. Gradevona is a small town, one of many around lake Como, it has few shops. not all open at night. few restaurants...

High quality restaurant. Very good service

Perfectly located, with direct access to the lake and an additional pool. The view is incredible! Walking distance to Gravedona and Domaso. Breakfast buffet was nice and sufficient. Rooms are good standard, however you won't spend much time in your room, when you're at Lake Como :)

We absolutely loved our stay at the hotel. Beautiful view, great service and delicious food. The ideal location for a relaxing holiday! The staff is very friendly and helpful. Nice hotel. Swimming pool good. Lovely views of lake Como with access to the shore. Went for a swim in the lake but, be careful, there's a slighty hidden hydro electric power station next door which can suddenly force a strong water current out to the middle of the lake! Easy walk into Gravedonna where boat taxis can be caught. Would have given 5 stars but for my hire car being damaged in the hotel...

We booked this place last minute and it is a GEM. The rooms are clean, the view of the lake is gorgeous (they have a sitting area with a view), all the homemade food was delicious (their homemade chamomile grappa and desserts are to die for) but the best part is the people - they are so kind, cheerful, and helpful. They gave us very clear directions for free parking down by the lake as well as suggestions...

Best stay! We were there with our kids, and we really liked it. Nice hotel, stunning views, very good breakfast.

Alto Lario - Lake Como Family run Hotel in a small Hamlet called Bugiallo. Wonderful views of the full length of Lake Como

One of it's kind, the way up there is a bit adventures but it is absolutely worth it. Stunning over the mountain range and lake Como. The owner family are such beautiful people and they will make you feel you are part of their family. " Mamma" does awesome food and the wine, well you can't stop drinking ;) We felt very welcome, heartwarming atmosphere, great service. Give it at try

Stayed only for one night and arrived late. Very nice owners and nice hotel. Breakfast was good. Free parking in the back of hotel.

Breakfast was pretty thin unless you enjoy bread and other pastries. There was a beautiful wedding reception at the same time with our visit and the walls were not thick enough to guarantee good night sleep. The room was okay and the location 5/5.

The hostess is super friendly and kind. We had delicious breakfast, especially homemade cakes 😍 (chestnut cake was superb). Great location, there's a nice beach close by. Also we were lucky to find a free parking lot very close to the apartments.

We have been here two times already and It's been a great experience for us. Francesca makes the best breakfast with self made yogurt and Tiramisu and she always gives good advice on where to go to. The place is in the center of Gravedona and the beach is only a short walk away. We hope we can come back soon :)

Great stay in the heart of Gravedona. Near several restaurants, supermarkets and the local beach. Francesca is very warm and will make sure your breakfast is on point and the stay is as good as possible

This hotel is a 3 star that feels like a 5 star. A warm and modern design with a fantastic swimming pool, it is literally located in the shore of the lake. Breakfast is stupendous. This is s gem of a hotel. Immaculately clean, beautiful pool, the best hotel breakfast we have enjoyed for a long time, friendly staff, small and quiet. Just a short walk to the beautiful little town with plenty of bars and restaurants and access to the boats that open up Lake Como. Thank you to all the staff for a wonderful few days.

This is the cutest family owned hotel I’ve ever stayed at in Italy. The family is the sweetest and the place is VERY well kept. The room was very clean and breakfast was perfect. The views at this place are incredible. Its the perfect balance of city and lake.
