Not a 4 star. Food is pretty basic. No amenities. No Pool music. Bar was double teamed with front desk staff. Ability to cool or heat the room was terrible. Some in our group had sewage coming up through the drain in shower. It was not clean

Great place for preppers or nostalgic institutionalised. Dining room has an ocean view between the abandoned buildings but don't expect coffee after dinner just settle for a warm beer. That's if you can find a wait person who's motivated enough to serve you. Bring a torch if you want to read in your room which was clean with a comfortable bed but woeful lighting.

Spent two nights here. It was inexpensive and had good free breakfast. Also had plenty of hot water for a good long hot shower. Parking was $10 a day.

The room Was spacious and spotles with great decor and crisp bed sheets the breakfast buffet was delicious with a huge variety of options the staff were attentive specialy marco and Sara went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable.

Hotel is offside in the slopes of vesuv in a not appealing area of the town. Superior room was big enough without terrace or balcony but with a great view over the Bay of Naples (take care to get this site). Empty mini-bar was filled step by step over few days. A well located hotel far enough off the motorway so you don't get any sound but great for motorway access. I used it as a base to visit Naples a visit to Vesuvius and Rome. The hotel facilities are really good with a great rooftop terrace, a nice pool and poolside seating and refreshments. If you can I recommend booking a garden view room.

I would highly recommend anyone staying in Naples to stay at Masseria Guida. It is such a relaxing area, tucked away from the crazy hustle and bustle of Naples. It's near the foot of Mt. Our stay here was absolutely fantastic. Every single member of staff was super friendly and could not have done any more to help us. A decent hotel. Clean. I had spotty Wi-Fi which was annoying. The breakfast wasn't very good, in my opinion. Too many sweet bland pastries and bad coffee. No healthy options. I did not use the pools.

Great sea view room, lovely hotel, helpful staff and nice sweet breakfast , HOWEVER, we were appalled that they charge paying guests 7 Euros to use the pool PER PERSON PER DAY and an additional 2 Euros per person to rent a compulsory swimming hat so sadly, as a family of 4 on a budget, we could only look longingly at the cool water. Not fair at all, ruined the stay for us . Very poor show indeed.

This hotel has a great location just steps away from the Herculaneum Archeological Site. It was the base for our visits to Herculaneum, Naples, Mount Vesuvius, and Pompeii.
