Hilton Rome Airport

Front desk staff is horrible. Managers and front desk staff will completely ignore you. Room itself smells disgusting, like musty and unclean. Walls are cracked, hairs in the bed and bathroom. Restaurant is overpriced. WiFi is expensive. Only benefit to staying in this hotel is the easy walk to the airport. If you don’t need the convenience of the airport, highly recommend stay somewhere else.

Edit: Keys barely work, we’ve had to get new keys 3 separate times now. Breakfast is very good, restaurant staff is nice (both dinner and breakfast)

Helpful front desk for storing our luggage and rolling it up to our room. Rooms are a bit dated but not of poor quality.

The restaurant was a disaster however. Took a while to take our order. We counted 4 hairs combined in our sandwich and burger. My burger’s bun was hardened and quite stale. Not to mention it was very overpriced. 20 euro for the simplest sandwich they offered, 8 euro for French fries or any other side dish. There were also mosquitoes flying around us the entire time. Do not recommend

Hotel itself is nice, rooms are average, staff is so poor i dont understand how Hilton allows it. They are slow and very uncaring. Even an elderly nun was not shown proper respect or caring so i helped walk her to her room. Another older guest was not computer literate and the young staff member, instead of helping him, just told him he did not know how to do it so sorry. It took another shocked person all of 2 minutes to help the elderly person get his flight reservation. Lastly, it took us over 30 minutes in a long line to check in as staff members just walked around the back of the desk Vs stepping in and helping to clear the long line. To top it off, when I finally got to the front to check in I told the person helping me that i had to have a non-smoking room due to my wife's allergies , the staff member shook her head in understanding and then when we got to my room, no the entire floor, it reeked of smoke. I went back down and stood in line for another 25 minutes to have them change my room from the smoking floor. When i got up to the front, with the same person, she said that there were no smoke free rooms, this was a lie as several of the people we were traveling with later arrived and rec'd smoke free rooms. Now i went on the Hilton site and they do have smoke free rooms available! Going back down again to ARGUE ! They have put a horrible taste in my mouth after a wonderful Italian vacation. Stay somewhere else. Pathetic!!!
