This was one of the worst hotels we have stayed at in general, let alone for a Hilton property. For us, so long as the hotel is clean, we can overlook many other factors.

Starting with the positives, the location is excellent if you are wanting to stay close to the airport. We stayed here for one night after our cruise on our way home, and we just wanted something close to the airport for the single night as we had already stayed in Rome prior to the cruise. You can walk to the terminals via a covered walkway with moving foot walks. No shuttles to the airport required.

You can get into Rome via train by walking to the airport and taking the train into Rome. It’s about 30 minutes. However, if you want to visit Rome, I would personally just opt to stay in Rome.

The staff here were very good. We especially had excellent service at the on-site restaurant which was surprisingly tasty.

However, this hotel is not clean. It’s dirty. Upon arrival, the lobby is well-kept and clean. It’s pretty updated. Once you get to the guest rooms things go downhill. The hallways to the guest rooms are severely worn and outdated. The carpet is old and disgusting. The walls are beat up. The doors are very old. They have at least replaced the flooring in the guest rooms with a laminate wood instead of the nasty, old carpet, but the room was just dirty. There was dust and grime in the corners of the floor. There was toothpaste crusted on the bathroom faucet. There was urine around the base of our toilet, which we did call the front desk about and they very promptly sent housekeeping to clean. There were ants in our bed. Our A/C was blowing out hot air, and the front desk told us to turn it down to 5 C and wait 20 minutes, at which point it got cool but not cold. We requested a top sheet as the bed only came with a comforter and it was quite warm with the A/C not fully functioning.

We had relatives traveling with us and they said their room was just as dirty, minus the urine on the floor in the bathroom.

We would not opt to stay here again. I would rather find a wonderful hotel in Rome and give up convenience for sleeping in a dirty hotel.

I stayed at this property for a second time, earlier this month (Nov 4-5) due to my wonderful experience a few years ago. I'm not sure what happened this time. Check in/out was good, my room was clean but needed updating, however, I was let down in the restaurant. Unlike several years back, when the service I received was impeccable, this time it was awful.
Although the staff that I directly interacted with were polite, they "forgot about me" multiple times during the early dinner service (there weren't that many people being served at that time). My drink was forgotten at the bar and not delivered for 20-30 minutes ( I could see the drink from my seat, but didn't realize it was mine). My server took a meal break in the middle of service (I understand that staff need breaks, but they need to notify another staff member to intervene while they are on break) and my service ceased. I had to beg someone (who looked like a manager) to come over to me so that I could put in a dessert order and get another drink. I was also ignored by another staff member (older gentleman) that was serving the table next to me; at first I thought that the staff were assigned individual tables, but I could see them serving multiple tables, so this was inexcusable. All in all, this was a mediocre experience and disappointing compared to my prior visit. It also took forever to get my receipt and I had to have Hilton Honors intervene on my behalf.

Best location with walkway from Terminal to Hotel. Outstanding service at check-in, ease of checking in, and knowledgeable staff. Rooms are very clean, well equipped, and quiet for resting. Special thanks to the food and beverage staff on the hotel restaurant, especially the server Maria and the restaurant supervisor/manager. Excellent food and five-star service. I highly recommend this hotel if you need to stay a night at the Rome airport.

We stayed one night at the Hilton located at the Rome Airport. We used it as a stop over when flying from Sicily back to the US at the end of our trip. The Hotel was also a conference center so the amenities are geared towards business people instead of families. There is a pool but it was configured for lane swimming as opposed to relaxing/play. There is also a nice fitness center on the property. We ordered room service and had breakfast in the dining room. The food from the restaurant was surprisingly good. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Both rooms were clean and comfortable.

What a great hotel! Stayed on our last night in Italy. Everything from check in, room, amenities and restaurant exceeded our expectations. Staff friendly and efficient. Facility was in perfect condition and spotlessly clean. Room quiet and well appointed and breakfast buffet was overwhelming in the number of options, all fresh and delicious. Easy 10 min walk to airport check in, van ride offered if you prefer. No disappointments here! Thank you Hilton!

Lived for a day in a temporary shelter when the flight through "Alitalia" was cancelled. They fed him three times a day. The food is good. The rooms are good. There is a Russian channel on TV

Great location, can walk to and from airport in about 15 mins. Hotel lobby is very nice. Hotel restaurant has pretty good food for a hotel buffet set up. We only cab testify to breakfast. Front desk has cab service to call you taxi or private car service fast. But the rooms are old and dated. They need renovating bad. And our room ac didn’t work and I had to make a phone call and two trips to the front desk before they finally sent the maintenance man to fix it. Better response time and cleaner/newer rooms would make this five star review.

Very nice hotel. Our room was very modern, maybe some are outdated.. as I see mixed reviews. I stayed here for one night before flying out of Rome early the next morning. I checked in at 11pm with no issues and then was able to drop my key in a box at 5am. The walk to the terminal is super easy, 10 minutes in an air conditioner walkway with moving sidewalks. The employees are professional, lol I needed to drink some wine that wouldn’t fit in my suitcase and the staff opened it since I didn’t have a bottle opener and even gave us glasses.

HHonors members so possibly made the difference. Received an email before arriving from the manager and answered all my questions beforehand. Upon arrival there was a smooth priority check in to the room of my choice, nice executive floor access to the executive dining room. Gentlemen server was extremely nice helpful, and worked very diligently, as tourists, mostly Americans would come in and out literally for 5 minutes. We stayed and relaxed for half an hour. The breakfast buffet was amazing, a send off for the start of our holiday

Front desk staff is horrible. Managers and front desk staff will completely ignore you. Room itself smells disgusting, like musty and unclean. Walls are cracked, hairs in the bed and bathroom. Restaurant is overpriced. WiFi is expensive. Only benefit to staying in this hotel is the easy walk to the airport. If you don’t need the convenience of the airport, highly recommend stay somewhere else.

Edit: Keys barely work, we’ve had to get new keys 3 separate times now. Breakfast is very good, restaurant staff is nice (both dinner and breakfast)
