Rome Cavalieri was an amazing hotel. It feels like a palace with how nice is it. Every restaurant was amazing and had one of the best waffles of my life for breakfast. The hotel also had the nicest steam room/cold plunge I ever experienced and massage was sensational. Also ordered room service multiple nights and food was mouth watering. One thing I also liked is that they have a shuttle service that takes you very close to attractions. Pool was great, staff was great and they took care of our every need. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Rome.

Beautiful hotel and great location! But has big issues that take this hotel from a 5 star to a 2 star. One big issue is the carelessness of the waiters at the restaurants. Wrong food has been given to us on two occasions and for someone who suffers from allergies it could be costly (Uliveto restaurant). Another experience was at their terrace restaurant where we were just forgotten about. We didn't receive our food for over 45 minutes (mind you it was only a pizza). I understand the mistake but I don't appreciate being lied to and than being told sorry that my order was given to someone else. Finally the pool waiters coming by and asking you for a drink and never making it back. For a hotel that I really enjoyed and had great front desk staff and lounge staff the waiters really let the place down.

Large hotel with indoor and outdoor pools, varied breakfasts. The rooms are small and a little old. In general, I liked everything. The hotel also houses the famous restaurant La Pergola.

One of the best hotels in Rome, on a mountain with a beautiful view and a short distance from the center. Here you won’t see crowds of tourists from the windows and nothing will distract you from contemplating the Basilica of San Petro and the Roman panorama!

One of my favorite properties all around.
Pros: Decor of the rooms is splendid. Lovely touches all around. The grounds are just beautiful. The 2 outdoor pools and 1 indoor pool give you lots of space to enjoy. The breakfast buffet is excellent. Excellent views of Rome.
Cons: A bit far from everything else in Rome. Will take you 25-30 minutes to get anywhere you want to go. There's really only one restaurant which can get a little boring. (The other, La Pergola needs to be booked well in advance and as a 2 star Michelin is a tad pricey)

Beautiful hotel! My husband and I were traveling in Italy and needed a hotel that had all the amenities we are used to in California and the Waldorf Rome was just that for us. The spa amenities made it worth it in itself with a cold plunge, sauna, steam room & whirlpool. Like other reviews say, it’s about 20 min from major touristy areas, however, they offer free shuttle to and from The Spanish Steps. Pool is comfortable, you need to flag down a server to order food and drinks they don’t come to you as you sit down.
Bed is big, plush & comfortable with a variety of pillows to choose from. Bathroom is large with minimal toiletries.

Spent two nights here after a cruise using my husbands travel points. The room itself was spacious and comfortable. The view was not great but since it was free it didn’t bother me. Enjoyed complimentary breakfast buffet thanks to diamond status with Hilton. Breakfast was full of many good choices and was delicious. Got room service our second night and all the food was good. It’s a bit pricey for food and drinks which was expected. Example: a bottle of coke is ten euros . Didn’t seem to find any drinks being sold in the gift shop but wasn’t there long enough to know if there was another option. Overall I would stay here again.

A truly world class hotel. From the moment you arrive you're treated as a special guest. Rooms on the Imperial floor are so well appointed and luxurious. The attention to detail is so welcoming, like the soundproof door! What a great touch. Staff are all so nice and helpful, from greeting as you arrive, check in, the lounge, the restaurant. Breakfast in the restaurant is a very complete spread, with an entire section devoted to vegetarian, and not just a couple of salads!
Overall, this is an experience to savor.

On the hill. Great customer service. Easy to get a ride to and from. Room service and other staff are excellent at what they do. Rooms are nice and clean. Felt safe. Will def go back.

I'm incredibly disappointed with my experience at the Waldorf. It all started when I called to request an upgrade and was told over the phone that I should order it at check-in time. However, when I arrived and inquired about the upgrade, I was informed that there was no availability. When I asked what to do next, I was told to try to request the upgrade in advance if I was arriving late to the hotel.
Room: The room looked and smelled old, which was very disappointing. The internet was slow and limited the number of devices I could connect.
Bar: When I went to the bar by the lobby on Thursday evening, we asked for a waiter three times, but he nodded at us and said he would come back. After waiting for 15 minutes, we left without even being greeted.
Indoor Pool: I was informed at check-in that the indoor pool was closed for maintenance and the outdoor pool would be closing soon. This was very frustrating as one of the reasons I booked this hotel was for the spa and indoor pool.
Breakfast: I was expecting more from the Waldorf. The Hilton Porto Gaia, which is considered inferior, has a much better breakfast.
Overall, the experience was extremely frustrating. As Hilton Club owners, we were told multiple times that the Waldorf is the best hotel in the Hilton family, but I disagree. I've had much better experiences in other 4-star hotels. I regret spending one night there and do not recommend to anyone.
