We spent five marvelous nights at the hotel. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we were happy. Breakfast was delicious. The location is fantastic—quiet and right on the lake with amazing views—yet still within walking distance to shops and cafés. Truly an incredible, luxurious experience. We can’t wait to go back!

The hotel is well located, right where the ferries depart, but it's quite old; the elevator is broken. The buffet breakfast was good, but several items were out of stock.

Hotel Excelsior Splendide is in a perfect spot for travel to LAKE COMO , centrally located with steps to the many ferries that stop there daily. Within 1000 feet are 4 ports for everything from car boats to fast boats and water taxis. Bellagio is very hilly with steps that seem to go on forever. Very nice place. We stayed for two nights, the staff was very friendly and helpful, rooms were clean, and you can safely park your car in a nice parking spot inside the Hotel area.

It's a great place for our trip but it's a wee walk from centre of Bellagio. The rooms are small and the a/c wasn't that responsive. The hotel is located right in town steps from the ferry. We had a room with a terrace. the room wasn't great. The bathroom was small but we had an amazing view. We recently completed a 15 day vacation in Italy. Bellagio was our last stop and the Hotel Metropole was our last hotel. The location is best in Bellagio. Our bedroom was overlooking the lake with absolutely uninterrupted views. Rooms were clean and everything of convenience was available 😃! A staff at the hotel even accommodated a request for coffee at 5:30am in the morning.

Amazing accommodation with great view of the Lake Como. What is noteworthy is the shuttle bus service provided in order to avoid the busy roads and parking problems at the area. The only complaint has to do with the room service, since food served is of very medium quality. On the other hand, the breakfast was great.

Fantastic Italian villa with original architecture and furniture. The rooms are spacious and very clean. There is a swimming pool and kids playground outside plus on-site restaurant with a playroom for kids. Hospitable and responsive staff. Perfect little hotel by the lake! I had such a great time here; the room was beautiful, the shower had proper water pressure, breakfast was a very nice addition, and the location was super convenient. Only issue is parking since you have to go through the limited traffic zone and it can get busy in there. Their spa is also very nice and newly renovated. Staff was helpful and friendly.

We really enjoyed our stayed at Hotel du Lac. We were in town for a friend's wedding and found great convenience in the location, an awesome/relaxing spa, and a very friendly staff. We had an amazing stay at the hotel. The staff was so helpful in answering questions and accommodating requests up to and during our stay. Great service and lovely view. There was no wisteria, but the greenery on the pergola and overall look was so pretty. Booked in advance for a lakefront spot (recommend). My family and I spent an INCREDIBLE week at VillaPonti. The villa is gorgeous, super comfortable, very well equipped AND the views are STUNNING. Great food abounds, follow the alleys and explore, don't be afraid to walk down into a basement bar or restaurant. The most beautiful b&b I have ever stayed in. It was in a perfect location, a minutes walk from a ferry stop, and a lovely 30 minute walk to Bellagio. It was very clean and felt very authentic which added to the whole experience.
