We had the pleasure of staying at Palazzo Guido for six unforgettable days. As a family of four, we were hosted in the spacious and beautifully appointed family flat, which offered every comfort we could have hoped for.
What truly sets this place apart is the warmth and care you receive from the moment you arrive. It doesn’t feel like a typical hotel; it feels like coming home. Ms. Geltrude, the host, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. She was incredibly attentive, helping us with everything from local recommendations and restaurant bookings to parking and day-to-day needs. Thanks to her, we dined at some of the best local restaurants and experienced the very best of the area.
Her team, especially Cristina, was equally wonderful: always kind, helpful, and ready with a smile.
I would not hesitate for a second to recommend this exceptional place to family and friends. It’s a true gem in Italy, and we’re already looking forward to returning.

Geltrude and her staff could not have been better hosts and did everything possible to make our stay in Lecce a wonderful experience. The location in the historic area was very convenient to all Lecce and Puglia has to offer. Our accommodations were lovely, what we'd call shabby chic, but with top flight bathrooms with fluffy towels and quality linens on the bed. We certainly felt the palazzo was our home while in Lecce. Geltrude made reservations for us at restaurants and had suggestions for touring as well. Nothing was too much for her and she was in touch via WhatsApp even when not physically present. Our daughter and her partner are vegans and, once Geltrude understood what that meant, had elaborate, delicious breakfasts for them every morning. All their efforts were very appreciated and we'd certainly stay at Palazzo Guido if in Lecce again.

Excellent 4 night stay at Palazzo Guido . Perfect location for exploring old town Lecce . Easy parking close by . Geltrude was very helpful with suggestions for day trips and local sites . Nice selection for breakfast and the best eggs prepared by Christine.

Everything about our stay here was amazing. The location is in the heart of Lecce. We were able to drive close to the entrance to drop off our luggage before finding street parking nearby. We were greeted by a very friendly staff. The decor is beautiful and the room was spacious and the right mix of antique design and up-to-date amenities (air conditioning, electricity, shower, etc.) We loved being able to explore the town and then come back to lounge around the terrace. It's also nice to be able to go to the jacuzzi and sauna at any hour. The breakfast and service were so great! The staff were available to answer questions at all hours of the day, in person or by phone. Don't hesitate to stay here!!

The hotel exuded cleanliness and charm in every corner, providing a delightful atmosphere throughout our visit. Additionally, the staff were very helpful, and Geltrude, the owner, extended exceptional hospitality. Her amazing recommendations and advice made our stay truly memorable. For anyone seeking a beautiful and unforgettable hotel experience within the heart of Lecce’s Old City, I cannot recommend Palazzo Guido highly enough.

What a lovely stay. Location is great - walking distance to everything in historical Lecce. The rooms were spacious & recently renovated. The breakfast buffet was superb! The staff were so lovely - ready to do anything to make your stay more comfortable. Would definitely stay here again or recommend to a friend!

The Palazzo is just beautiful and Geltrude(the owner) could not have been more welcoming. They gave us a free upgrade and we felt thoroughly spoilt. Our only regret is that we did not stay longer.

We have been visiting Italy all around the country for 30 years, and this BnB has been the highlight of all our trips here. Gertrude, the host, is so helpful, so joyful, and full of honest recommendations and connections for this area- we couldn’t have enjoyed our visit half as much if it wasn’t for her. The hotel has the charm of the old city with the convenience of modern hotel amenities, and not to mention the wonder of an old family history that you see all around the mansion. Will definitely be booking here again!

Palazzo Guido is the only place to stay in Lecce. The palace is spectacular, comfortable and immaculately clean. You just walk out the door and you are in the heart of everything Lecce has to offer! Geltrude is the most amazing hostess. She can help with restaurant and sightseeing recommendations to addressing your every comfort during your stay. This is the ONLY place our family stays in Lecce! ❤️❤️❤️

We had a really fun time in our stay. Hotel has a magical charm in a very European way as it is a recently extensively restored large mansion that was converted into a hotel. So all the details are very unique and special. Our room was grand and beautiful plus their rooftop is very fun to go at night and see and hear the city! It has a 24 hour Spa available to all customers and it is very centric next to all downtown attractions. Staff was very attentive and service was great!
